.::Star . Resme . Carter::. You know you want me......
It's just too bad I'm beyond your reach Star Resme Carter is feeling:.::Irritated::. On her way to the Twilight Dorms, Star ran into Marcus who was hurrying to class. He grinned a sick grin as he saw her, and slammed his arm across to block her way. "Hey, beautiful," he whispered. Before the demented vampire could say more, Star smacked his face. "Let me guess. Kiyarah rejected you, and so did all the other cute girls you asked. Dont even try me," she scowled. With that, the petite female vampire ducked under Marcus' arm and ran to the Twilight Dorm before any other men could ask her. She entered her room and fumbled amoung her messy belongings for her History, Calculus and Language Arts. But her room was so messy that her books were no where to be found. If I were my Text Books, where would I be? The shiny cover of her Biology Book caught Star's eye. The vampire threw her studded jeans and such from the pillow. And lo-and-behold, inside the pillow cover were her books. Rolling her eyes at the idiotic hiding sanctuary of her books, Star picked up the load. For all she cared, the books could be burned in the fire place. Waste of paper? Reading them was a waste of her time! At least mouthing off to the teacher had been reasonable payment. The Teachers red face should've been posted on the Yearbook. Star left the room, and gently closed the doors behind her. She leaned on them for a moment, reluctant to go to class. She'd forgotten her hood, and the rain fell down on her. It was a heavy pour, but her vampire tough skin could handle it. The droplets rolled smoothly off her skin, as if she'd worn two bottles of Sheshido Skin Toner. Her hazel eyes and pale face was dripping wet, and she decided it was enough. If she didn't get to class soon, the Chairman would be on her. Making an unusual suttle entrance, Star returned to her seat infront of Felix. Her narrowed eyes dared anyone to speak to her, when they caught sight of the Halloween Ball Poster. Who to go with? Adam was out of question, so was Marcus and the werewolves. The only human male she'd come in contact with had been Keith, who'd ran away without a word. Then there was Felix. He was hot, that was certain. But he changed girlfriends more than she changed hairstyles. Wasn't he into Kiyahrah?

Hugo Davies Munger Hugo is actually feeling rather worried. "Oh, of course I'd still like to." Hugo smiled, happy that he actually wouldn't be spending Halloween Night alone. Though, being alone might be quite good. He mused. Peering intently into Farah's face, he reeled. This girl look like she haven't slept for weeks! Those dark circles... "Farah, when was the last time you actually closed your eyes and slept? You really look terrible. Look, why don't you rest tonight? I'll run with Pearll if you're worried about her. It's okay. I'll tell Dad, I mean the Chairman, about it. He'll let you off." He told her. He paused, trying to find a way to convince Farah to rest for the night. And Farah spoke, about a dream she had.
Hugo nodded, but he still wasn't very sure why the dream would actually remind her of him. "It's okay, I mean... nobody ask me this type of question, so I was a little stunned. But yeah. It's okay." He grinned weakly, not sure how to explain to her. "Farah, I think it's better if I send you back to Moon Dorms. You look like you're going to collapse any moment." He stood up, gently tugging at Farah, so that she'll stand up too. I wonder if she'll actually listen to me? Oh wait, Kiyah is sick... with some sort of flu or something. So she wouldn't be patrolling the school. And if Farah listens to me, then only Pearll and I would be taking care of the school. Oh well, we'd have to make do. Sighing a bit, he turned to Farah. "Stay in Moon Dorms tonight, Pearll and I will take care of everything."||ooc: opps, sorry for the short post||

☾kiyarah . antoinette . briarwood☽_________________I can't shake the feeling that maybe ____________you're a part of me. Kiyarah Antoinette Briarwood is feeling just a little : { sick, and depressed } Pearll's voice made Kiyarah jump out of her skin. She had expected someone to come up to her because she was catching a cold. The hybrid sneezed, groaning afterwards. As the girl wrapped her navy blue blazer around Kiyarah, the female blushed. She really felt uncomfortable when people helped her like this. "I'm fine, Pearll. Really. Why don't you go back to the dining hall and get some dinner? You have night patrol soon. I'm just going to take a shower before I h-h-ha--achoo!--have to do Prefect duties," she said with as much of a calm voice as she could muster through her stuffed up nose. Taking off the blazer, she gave it back to Pearll and then smiled grateully. "Thank you for thinking about helping me. But I'll be fine. I'll be a bit and then I'll be out to do Prefect duties," she said before turning and running off to her house. Just a quick hot shower, some food in her stomach, dry clothes, and then maybe some meds to help with her cold.
Too bad that her plan wasn't going to work. Just as she opened the front door to her house, shivering like crazy, the Chairman had rushed over to her with a look of worry behind his thin rimmed spectacles. He ran to her, wrapping her into his arms tightly. He was rambling on about his "poor baby being sick" and then afterwards ordering her to stay in her room for tonight and letting Hugo worry about Prefect duties and then about speaking to the werewolves and some of the trustworthy vampires, Adam most probably being the only one, to maybe help out look after the school. Kiyarah felt guilty. If only her immune was as strong as the vampires. She stuttered an excuse, but they were quickly shushed out by her father who was already out the door with the umbrella over his head. Kiyarah stood in the middle of the entrance, staring at the closed door for minutes before letting out a sigh and heading up the steps to her room. Tonight was just not going to be her night. But at least she was able to get out of Prefect duties just for one night. If only she didn't feel so miserable and cold. As she took the few steps towards her room, Kiyarah was having a fit of sneezes again. She then opened the door to her room and dropped her bookbag at the foot of her bed before stripping out of her drenched uniform and into a warm and comfortable bath robe. She walked into her bathroom, running the shower to let the hot water run out. When it finally did, she took off the robe and walked into the shower. The hot water felt good, really good.
A few minutes later, feeling slightly refreshed, Kiyarah stepped out of the steaming bathroom with her damp hair hanging over her right shoulder. She brushed the tips with her brush so that it would not tangle together as her hair dried. She then flipped it to her other shoulder and brushed it from tip to tip till it was stick straight. She then dropped her brush onto her bed and walked over to her bookbag which had left a small puddle on her hardwood floor. The first thing she took out was her iPod, scrolling to the palylist she had made a whle back. It was labeled Him because she didn't want anyone to know that it was filled with songs that made her think of Adam. Walking over to her bedside table, Kiyarah plugged her iPod into her new black boombox and pressed play. The first song that came up on random was "I Wish You Loved Me" by Tynisha Keli. A saddened smile appeared on her lips as she fell back onto her bed and looked up at the ceiling, her ceiling light making her shocking blue eyes glisten. "Somethin, somethin as simple as me hearin' your name (hearin' your name)/Puts me, puts me in a place that i can't even explain (uh oh, no-oh i ain't never been here before)/I really didn't know back then but right now i'm totally sure/Baby, i know i'm your friend but i wanna be much more/I get butterflies when i see you comin', ooh-ooh boy you got me runnin'/This feelin' in my stomach tells me i should be your woman/Because your the only one who makes my fairy tale come true..."
She let out a sigh, bringing a hand to her burning forehead. Thinking about Adam, and the way he had been acting around her lately was causing her to feel a little light headed and dizzy. So she pushed small thoughts of Adam out of her mind and rolled over onto her stomach, reaching into her bedside drawer for the paperback book she had been given last summer. It was A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks. Her father had given it to her after all her days complaining about wanting to read it. She turned to chapter two and started reading. She ran a hand through her semi-dry hair, pushing it over her shoulder so that she could finger through it as she read. After a minute or two reading, she realized something. Her iPod was on repeat. But she was too lazy to fix it. So she let the current song playing play, no matter how depressing it was for her. "Achoo! Ugh!" She grabbed a tissue, blowing into it lightly before continuing to read. ll ooc:: I'll find a youtube link for the song later and post it in an ooc in Keith's post so that you'll know what song Kiyah's "listening" to. ll

»»000000000000★keith . zachary . reynolds★ _________________________It's always about mind over matter.Keith Zachary Reynolds 's current mood : { really exhausted, but slightly curious } Keith had not thought that the rain could get any worse. Once he and Lyrine had finally made it inside the warm and dry dining hall, the Class President shook his hair out, making sure not to hit the female beside him. He then ran a hand through his hair once, pushing it out of his line of vision. There were a few girls that gasped at this gesture, stopping to stare at him. He ignored them, pretending that he was not at all capturing any attention that he did not need. Looking down at Lyrine, he took his blazer from her and smiled. "Don't worry about it, okay Lyrine? It's not it's my one and only blazer. I have more in my dorm," he said to her with his professional tone, hanging the damp peice of clothing over his bookbag. He then turned towards the food line. They weren't that long. So he had time to grab a little something, eat, and then go to his dorm to search for his glasses. "Come on. You're probably hungry right now," he said, leading Lyrine to the food line and grabbing her a tray. He took one himself and then looked at what to get.
As he picked up food items, Keith took side way glances at Lyrine and then quickly looked forward. "To answer some of your previous questions, yes it does rain here since we're in the middle of woods. And the only reason I can keep my scholarship is because I have a goal I want to reach in my life. And homework assignments and projects and my duties as Class President as well as Head of Dorms is not going to stop me from obtaining them," he said in his usual voice, picking up a water bottle from the beverage cooler. He smiled at the lunch lady, who in term smiled back and asked about his parents. He told her that they were fine, healthy as always. The woman smiled brightly and then placed a scoop of mashed potatoes into his plate. The male thanked the woman before moving on. After grabbing a small salad bowl, Keith turned to look down at Lyrine. All morning he had been wondering about her story. All he knew from the Chairman was that she was the Governor's daughter and that she was attending this school all of a sudden. Keith had done his research, with the help of Kiyarah to fill in some missing information. So far, all he knew was that she had been going to public school for a while. And that...well...her records were not so clean.
"Please forgive me for asking, but could you possibly explain to me why all of a sudden, you're attending Oak Point? Your father has all the money in the world to pay for your tuition. Why did he suddenly decide to send you hear, now that you're already a senior?" He knew that he was probably going to get some lie of an answer. Or maybe no answer at all. But he just had to know. Of course the girl's father would have known about this school. It was well known for it's Ivy League ranked alumni. He purposely left out the fact that he already knew some stuff about her, just in case she thought he was some kind of stalker or whatever word would be appropriate. "Look, you really don't have to answer that question. I know it's something that a Class President should be asking, but I'm just really curious," he added quickly, finally getting out of line with his food. He turned to the table beside the Head Table where Hugo and Kiyarah usually sit, since it only held two seats, one for each Prefect. The girl that sat with Hugo was not Kiyarah, which made Keith confused about where the female prefect went. He then shrugged off the thought, it was none of his business. "Would you like to sit with me?" he asked.
Usually, Keith ate dinner alone. But since today he was "working" he had his obligations to think about as Class President. And the Chairman had put it upon himself to trust in Keith to make sure that Lyrine was welcome into this school. He was just really hoping deep inside that she would not get the wrong impression. He was hoping that maybe she would understand his social standings when it didn't come to his positions involving the Day Class. Really hoping. "Um, I'm kind of in a hurry to do something so if you want to sit and have dinner with me, please feel free to," he said, looking down at the food in his tray. Then he walked passed table after table till he was at the one he had inhabited for four years. The one that he had for some reason called his own table. Setting his tray on the table and his bookbag at the foot of his chair, Keith sat down and took a bite from his dinner. He really didn't care if Lyrine accepted or declined his offer to sit with him. Whatever she chose was her choice. ll ooc:: Alright guys. This is the song that Kiyah is "listening" to at the moment. I'm sorry I didn't post this ooc on my Kiyah post, but I didn't feel like editing my post. Anywho, this song popped into my head when I was working on my post so I thought I should use it. Hope you like it. ll"success doesn't come in wrapping paper and a bow. "

{mood=reluctant}♥ Lyrine.{/mood} Dinner. Ugh. Lyrine was actually not particularly hungry, but she could imagine what Keith would think if she didn't get anything. Anorexic much? Not exactly the image she wanted to go with. With a sigh, Lyrine began to pick out yogurts and salads as they moved up the line. She listened to Keith talk about the school and his goal, peeking at him when his head was turned. His hair was so cute like that. Lyrine was glad to see at least someone was so clear in life. He seemed to hav everything planned out before him. The evil serving lady from this morning gave Lyrine's half-empty plate a long look before heaping an extra serving of potatoes. Probably thinking she'd come back for seconds. 'Oh, great. I'll look for Pearll in a bit.' She thought, getting a vitamin water. She turned to look out at the cafeteria. And then Keith asked her the question she never wanted to answer. Well, not to him anyway.
Lyrine knew there were rumors already in the school for why she was here. Not that she was willing to set them straight. As long as nobody knew what the whole story was, Lyrine didn't even bother to acknowledge all the words about her. And here she was, faced with a choice: Tell Keith the truth or laugh it off with a fake story. He asked if she'd eat dinner with him, and found a secluded little table at the end of a row. If she backed out now, and went to sit somewhere else, she wouldn't have to answer any questions she didn't want to. But wouldn't that be cowardly? Not to mention akward if she ever wanted to hang out with him again. Which she wanted to. While the dillema inside her raged on, Keith started to eat his dinner. Realizing her hand holding the tray was trembling, Lyrine quickly walked to the table he was at and sat down. "I'd love to eat dinner with you. Its fine if you have to leave." Lyrine admitted honestly, shoving her backpack under the table.
"And, um, to answer your question... well, this was my dads decision. I didn't want to come here. Despite all the cool things in this school, I still don't want to be here. He- my dad- thought I wasn't doing well enough at my old school. I guess its true, I kept getting distracted." Lyrine thought the word was well enough, and seemed to cover the possibilities. "So he sent me here so I wouldn't get any more infamous and add to my rap sheet. I mean, there isn't much place for slacking off in a school like this, huh? Middle of nowhere, night classes, strict teachers. I guess I'm trying to make the best of a situation." Lyrine shrugged, suddenly feeling warmth spread on her face. The kind she'd felt this morning when she'd been about to cry. 'Oh God, please not now.' She thought. Somehow, saying all of that out loud struck a chord inside her. Clearing her throat, Lyrine grabbed her water and downed half the bottle in one swig. Will you understand how it hurts inside?

Adam James Kiles Leading is all about... ... listening first. Adam James Kiles is feeling [Worried] The class continued on with nothing really keeping Adam’s attention. As Adam sat there the teacher had started mentioning something about ‘keeping objects in motion’ when the Chairman appeared in the doorway. ”Adam can I speak to you?” he called to him. Adam stood from his chair and walked to meet the Chairman in the hall way. ”Yes, sir, What can I help you with?” he said trying to keep his voice even. He could tell by the tone in the Chairman’s voice that something was upsetting him. ”Adam, would you mind taking over Kiyarah’s prefect duties for tonight?” The Chairman asked. Adam stood there for a second confused as to why he needed to do the job for Kiyarah. She was much better at it than Adam was and wrangling humans was dangerous for him. ”Yes, sir, but is something wrong with Kiyarah?” Adam said trying not to let the worry run across his face. ”She isn’t feeling well and will be staying in tonight.” he said. Adam stood there for a moment then bowed as he exited the hall.Adam quickly exited the school and started towards Kiyarahs house. He knew that she probably only had a cold, but he couldn’t shake the worry running through him. She was a strong girl and a smart one, a little cold would put her down for long. But again he was still very worried about her. He made his way to her house and stood at the door. He almost knocked but he noticed a window on the top floor that had a light on. He took a few steps back and jumped into a tree that had a branch that hung by her window. He crawled over to it and peered in seeing her laying out on her bed reading. He raised his slight hand to knock on her window, and tapped it a few times trying not to scare her.Sorry it's so short, but I wanted to get it posted.

☾kiyarah . antoinette . briarwood☽_________________I can't shake the feeling that maybe ____________you're a part of me. Kiyarah Antoinette Briarwood is feeling just a little : { surprised } No one would have ever thought that Kiyarah would be able to reach the end of the book so soon, seeing as she is kind of slow at understanding things. But with this book, the one in her hands right now, she could not help but understand what was going on. It almost brought tears to her eyes as she continued to read the struggles the main character was going through with the one he loved. Her blue eyes glistened thanks to the tears that were built up but did not want to fall. She was really thankful that her father had bought the book for her. There was a highlighter tucked behind her ear, as well as post-it flaps to mark the places of her favorite lines. So far, she marked at least two in each chapter. She had been reading for many minutes now. Maybe hours, but she didn't really care. The repeating song on her boombox was soothing her, even though her thoughts occasionally went to Adam. If only she hadn't heard of that damn song.
The song must have played over twenty times before she looked up from her book and let out a sigh. Her eyes grew tired from all that concentration she had with the book in her hands. Usually, she could not take at least five minutes of continuous reading. But this book had made her hooked and hooked on good. With only a few chapters left, Kiyarah bookmarked her place and closed the book. She stretched her arms over her head, letting out a yawn until it made her start coughing. She groaned, grimacing at the discomfort she was feeling in her throat with her coughing. Right afterwards, she sneezed a couple times which was followed afterwards with yet another tissue being pulled out of the box. She blew her nose lightly then tossed the gross piece of paper into the trash disposal near her bed. Kiyarah laid back on her bed, her eyes staring at the ceiling. The repeating song started all over again. And this time she sang along with the first verse.
She sang along to the chorus till she finally stopped and turned onto her stomach again, grabbing the book lying in front of her. She looked at the cover, admiring the art before opening it to the page she was last at and started reading again. She hadn't even read two paragraphs when she suddenly heard a tapping on her window. She thought that maybe it was just the wind hitting rocks on the glass. But when the tapping came again, she looked over and she could have sworn she could have screamed if it weren't for the fact that she was so surprised at what she was looking at. It was Adam, at her window, looking right at her...with a look of worry in his beautiful eyes? The hybrid dropped her book as she sat up and stared at the window, blinking a few times just in case she thought she was seeing things. But there he was. The guy she had been thinking about earlier. Wrapping her bath robe (she wore pajamas under but still a force of habit) around her tightly, Kiyarah got up from her bed and headed to the window, still staring at Adam without blinking now. When she reached the glass window, she unhooked it from the latch and then pulled it open, wincing at the sudden gust of wind that hit her face. "Achoo!" she sneezed, turning behind her so that she wouldn't sneeze on Adam. She then turned to look back at him, still amazed. "Adam, what are you doing here? Come inside, you're soaking wet," she said, taking his cold hard hand and pulling him inside with as much strength as she could muster in her situation.
"Let me go get you a towel," she said, speeding over to her bathroom and taking out a white towel that had Oak Point's emblem on it. She unfolded the cloth and walked right over to Adam, handing it to him. She was so nervous. All she could think of was what he was doing here. And then he answered, telling her that he had heard she was sick and that he was worried. He was worried? This caused Kiyarah's face to burn hotter than it already was. And she wsa embarrassed again. Looking at the mirror to her right, for something to look at either than him, she saw that her curls had returned just the way they did before the rain. A sigh. "Thank you for coming, and for worrying. I'm fine. It's just a little cold," she muttered, tilting her head down from embarrassment. Just then, she realized something. Her iPod. Turning her head towards the boombox, Kiyarah's eyes widened as she listened. "How can someone make me so sad/But still I only want them {you} to stay/I wanna say I love you so bad/But I don't wanna scare you away/Please I wish that you’ll understand/That I wanna be more than just your friend/I wish you loved me."
Kiyarah's blush deepened into an even darker red, and her face burned hotter than before. How uneasy she felt at that moment, with that one verse that pretty much summed up her entire feelings for Adam, playing while he was around. She tried to hide her uneasiness, but it was hard. He was standing there in front of her, looking as handsome as he always did. Even rain looked wonderful on him. The female was stuttering for words now, trying to find something to say. But then Adam silenced her with one gesture. And she swore that she blushed an even brighter red. Why was he doing this to her all of a sudden? He was acting so...affectionate to him these days. It was scaring her. What gesture did he do? The only thing that would make her melt. No it was not kiss her. But he was so damn close that he could have if he wanted to. No, he had brought his hand up to her cheek, almost carressing it. She closed her eyes as he told her that she should sleep. But all she could think was--No. Now that she truly had alone time with Adam, no matter how sick she was, she couldn't waste it being unconscious. She wanted all the time she could with him now that they both had the time. "I'm not tired," she merely told him then fell back into silence, closing her eyes to take in the feel of his cold hand against her warm cheek. ll ooc:: Toju said I could put his responses into my post even though he didn't post them. It sort of counts as godmodding, but I'm not so sure. Ah well, he still gave me permission. ll

[ BenjaminFelixLeónardo ] ‡† You want me? Come get me. †‡
~ Feeling Determined. As Star left the room, Felix let his eyes roam the other members. One of his ex girlfriends was staring at him. Felix returned with a wink. She quickly looked away. If she’d been human, Felix knew well enough, she’d have been blushing. He chuckled under his breath, and a few students gave him a look. Ignoring them, Felix grinned broadly so at least he wouldn’t make noise in a class full of vampires with excellent hearing. Still bored with class, Felix glanced out the window into the darkness. Of course it didn't look so dark to him. Actually, nobody in this class would think it was dark, so Felix was easily able to make everything out. Star was making her way to the dorms. And Felix concentrated on her. Her hood was pulled up tight over her dark hair. ’Ok, so she doesn’t like water. There’s a start.’ Felix thought. Now he knew something unique about her. As he watched, Marcus approached her. Felix’s eyes narrowed. ‘That b*****d. If he tries something on her…’ Felix could feel himself losing his temper, and he struggled to stay calm. It probably wouldn’t do well to get pissed off in this environment. He hissed and settled uncomfortably in his seat, inviting more glances. He knew where Marcus could be found. He’d get that idiot back later. It seemed Marcus was going around getting everyone mad at him today.
When Star returned, she didn’t make a big deal out of this time. She was soaked, and that seemed to irritate her. Did she realize that everything she did was being observed? Probably not. She seemed annoyed now, especially as her eye fell on the same poster Felix had seen earlier. ’What is she thinking? Does she already have a date? I could take care of him if its going to be a problem. Will she go out with me?’ She seemed so deep in thought. Felix would’ve killed just to hear what was in her mind. He knew some of those vampires had powers, something special. Obviously, the Volturi did. The Count had once taken him to visit them. There was a guy who held out his hand. Felix had automatically held out his own, and crushed the other guys hand. And then he’d had that feeling, and he found out Aro had just read everything about him. That had been exasperating, but now Felix wished he had the ability to do that. He would’ve reached out and just touched Star lightly on the hand, and there would be his answer. Now he waited until the teachers back was turned, and on purpose continued to stare at the exquisite female before him. Until she met his eyes. ”Hello.” He mouthed to her.

.::Star . Resme . Carter::. You know you want me......
It's just too bad I'm beyond your reach Star Resme Carter is feeling:.::Interested::. Felix mouthed a hello to her, and Star grinned. The teachers back was turned, which obviously meant he was up to something. "Hey." She mouthed back, checking over her shoulder to make sure the teacher wasn't staring at her. "What's up?" Star knew he had something on his mind, anyone could tell. Infact, she had also noticed he'd been looking at her quite intently shen she entered class. Curiousity was killing her, but if she blurted out, it would be disasturous. Especially since the teacher already wanted to kill her. So instead, the female vampire took her Biology Book, layed it open on Felix's desk behind her, and took out a pencil. 'What is it? You look like you're a stalker.' she wrote, on top of some Plant crap. Felix's face was about a few inches from hers, and for the first time, Star looked at it intently. Damn, he was hot. If he'd had a million girlfriends, Star wouldn't be surprised. His eyes were probably the most unique shade of color she'd ever seen. No human would have eyes like those. But they were beautiful, just like him. Her attention was again directed to the Ball. Would her date have eyes like those? Would she have a date? Should she have a date? And who, if any? Questions probed her mind, and Star narrowed her eyes to shake them off. The vampire quickly spun around as the Teacher turned. Facing Star, he asked, "Would Miss Carter and Mr Leónardo like to share their discussion with the class?" Rolling her eyes at the obvious answer, 'no', Star muttered, "No, Sir. Now, I believe you were talking about absolute value inequalities?" The teacher, who wasn't satisfied, nodded and flipped open his book. "Please demonstrate. Page 40 question 7." With an inward groan, Star stood up and approached the blackboard. She cast an unhappy look at Felix, before tackling the stupid math problem. After much scribbling, Star stood aside to let the Teacher observe her work. "34 < x < 56. Is this right?" Star said, quite loudly, and looked at the Teacher. "You got it right," mumbled the Teacher, unsatisfied. Star smiled a triumphant smile, and sat back down. Maybe the teacher would stop picking on her now. It wasn't like she was the only vampire itching to ditch class. A game of baseball would be good right about now. Or maybe even street hockey. Anything was better than class. Pretending to read about the Law of Physics, she looked back at Felix, waiting for him to answer her question.

Pearll .. Lynnette .. Spiet When you have nothing to live for, you simply die. Pearll is rather distracted. "I-- uh, I'll go. So rest well and get well soon." Pearll said and took her navy blue blazer back. With a smile, Pearll ran off into the darkness, hanging her blazer over her shoulder. She didn't need it. The rain don't bother her at all. I wonder why Kiyarah didn't accept my help. Pearll thought as she entered the Dining Hall. It was quite cool to her skin, everything had been since she was nine, it didn't bother her much. Joining the line for food, she pick up some salads and the serving lady gave her some potato. "I gave your friend extra servings of mash potato. So don't complain that she didn't eat." The serving lady frowned at her. Confused, Pearll stared at her. "You know, blond curly hair, the one you sat with in the morning?" Lyrine! So she's here. "Okay. Thanks for telling me." She gave the serving lady a small smile. She grabbed a cola before searching for Lyrine.
Pearll spotted her. But Lyrine was not alone. She was sitting with... Keith. Giving both of them a wave, she walked towards them. Pearll didn't want to join them, didn't want to be playing gooseberry. But she needed to ask Keith some questions. "Hello." She said cheerfully. "Lyrine, how was your day? I'm sorry to disturb you, but I needed to ask Keith about something." She must be thinking if I'll ask Keith to the Halloween Ball. All day long, girls had been all gushing over the Halloween Ball and what to wear. She took a breath, "Umm... Keith, I was wondering if you knew which class we shared? I-- uh, sort of have... some problems that I need your help on." She didn't know what she was saying, but what she said was definitely a lie. She didn't need help; she just wanted to find out which class they were having together so that she would study harder to beat him. And she was just too lazy to remember which class they were having together. Must as well just be direct about it. She thought. Standing like an idiot, towering over the both of them, she frowned. "Do you mind letting me sit down?"
Without waiting for a reply, Pearll sat down at one of the chairs. "I'll just be here for a while, I'm sort of running late for something." She shot an apologetic glance to Lyrine, she hadn't want to spoil their evening together. She quickly gobbled everything down while waiting for Keith's answer. She looked around the Dining Hall, trying to find Farah or Hugo. She spotted both of them at the Head Table. Weird. Why is Farah sitting with Hugo? Farah actually do look sick. I wonder if she'll actually do the night run? If she doesn't, then I'll have my head to myself. And her 'beta'. But I wonder where he is. Bet he isn't joining me for the night run tonight! Hah. Finally, some peace of mind. Smiling happily, she continued with her food. "I am what I am."

»»000000000000★keith . zachary . reynolds★ _________________________It's always about mind over matter.Keith Zachary Reynolds 's current mood : { worried } The Class President was not surprised to see Lyrine come over to and accept his offer to sit with him. In fact, he could not help but smile at it. After all, this was the first time he had actually sat with someone during a meal while at this school. With the exception of Kiyarah since the girl always came over to say hi. As she sat at an empty chair, Keith turned to look at her the whole time, taking her in. She looked like a sweet girl. But that was as far as he would think about her. Letting otu a sigh, Keith went back to his dinner, taking a small scoop of his potatoes again. He continued to think about his question from earlier, and whether she would answer it or not. Girls were just too complicated for his intellectual mind. Not even his mother could make him understand. Which was why he stayed away from them as much as possible while he was here at Oak Point. For all he knew, they were only into him because of his looks, which would explain why a lot of the female population at this school was looking at him right now.
When Lyrine spoke again, Keith was kind of surprised. She was actually answering his question. It wasn't exactly descriptive, but he understood. After all he had seen her records before she got here. He had kept his eyes on his food the whole time, forking through his salad. With every word she said, she could not help but feel kind of guilty for asking about why she transferred here. There were the rumors of course that told him that her father had sent her here so that he didn't lose his position to bad reputation. He really didn't want to believe it. But when she explained, it sort of related to each other. Looking up, he saw a new expression on her face. It looked like she was about to cry. This made him feel even worse. As quickly as his nervous hands could, Keith grabbed a napkin from his tray and handed it to Lyrine, watching her down most of her water bottle. "Hey, calm down. Vitamin water isn't even that good for you. Here," he said, taking her hand and placing the napkin on her palm. He then pulled away, a look of worry in his face. "You know you didn't have to answer my question if you didn't feel comfortable about it. I was just a little curious that's all," he said right before someone came over to them.
It was Pearll, her blazer just as soaked as his was. Looking up at her from his seat, Keith wondered what she wanted to talk to him about. Hopefully it wasn't about the ball. He didn't feel like saying no to another girl today. When she asked what classes they had together, Keith raised his eyebrows. "None, Pearll. We're not in the same grade," he responded matter-of-factly. He watched as she ate up all the food on her plate, which was a lot. He was feeling rather envious. That girl could eat all that food and never get fat. Did she run miles a day in secret or something? "Don't worry about it. I'm going to leave soon anyway. I lost my glasses and I want to try to find them in my dorm," he said to Pearll before going back to hisown dinner, suddenly lossing his appetite. It was like Pearll was eating for him or something. His gaze then went over to Lyrine, sending her a quick apologetic smile and then took a slow bite of his chicken. "success doesn't come in wrapping paper and a bow. "

[ Announcement ] Hey guys!
I haven't done announcements in a while. But I guess it's because I didn't really have anything important to say.
For starters on the announcements, I would like to say how happy I am that we've finally reached post 100! YAY!!! I'm really happy about how fast pave this roleplay is going! -throws streamers-
Now on a serious note, I changed the time on the time post to 7:00. No big deal, it's still dinner.
Now this involves the last remaining spot. WE NEED IT FILLED SOON! I don't want to start the ball until the last position is filled. I really want to start the ball soon, but I can't do that if the ratio of guys to girls in uneven. It's only a werewolf male. And he's not that bad. If I didn't already have two characters, I would have taken him. I really want the last character filled so that I can start the ball. If that doesn't work well, and the setting is close to the ball, I'm just going to take the position...
If anyone is up to double, please let me know as soon as possible. Supernatural Soul Natasha was willing to double with me. And I'm REALLY thankful for that.
If doubling is going to be difficult, then please help recruit someone that will be able to post the required length. Please guys!
That's all I needed say. Happy roleplaying!
Note ~ Please don't respond to this below. If you have any questions, feel free to pm me.

Adam James Kiles Leading is all about... ... listening first. Adam James Kiles is feeling [Happy] Kiyarah’s face was priceless as she store at Adam through the window. She stood there for what seemed like an hour and Adam thought he scared her Well good job, Adam, now she thinks you are a creepy stalker. But then she moved over to the window and opened it for him while she sneezed. Her sneezes were cute, almost like a kitten or a mouse sneeze. "Adam, what are you doing here? Come inside, you're soaking wet," she said as she reached out to him pulling him into her room. The warmth of her hand was amazing and it felt exactly like he thought it would, like warm silk. He didn’t want to let go but he knew it would only get awkward if he sat there holding her hand. "Let me go get you a towel," she said as she dashed from the room. Adam didn’t understand why her voice had sent his head spinning every time she spoke now. When she returned and handed him the towel he dried himself off a little longer than necessary because the towel smelled like her. He looked up at her and answered her question ”I herd you were sick and I was worried.” Adam couldn’t decyfer the look on her face when she looked away at the mirror. "Thank you for coming, and for worrying. I'm fine. It's just a little cold." She said looking away. He smiled so she wouldn’t see and watched as her head spun to look at her iPod. Why does she look so freaked? then he remember the song that was playing was part of a playlist called ‘Him’. Does this song remind her of me? No, it couldn’t she probably doesn’t think about me that much. Her blush was beautiful and Adam swore he could feel his still heart beat. He saw she was about to speak and his hand moved uncontrollably. He set his palm on her cheek ”You should get some sleep.” Her cheek felt even more amazing then her hand. It was near burning hot because of her blushing and it was so soft. She looked at him and said "I'm not tired," but he knew she was lying. She wasn’t good at lying but he let her get away with it. He set his hand on her arm and sat her on her bed. He sat next to her and wrapped her blanket around her. He sat there for a second not sure of his next more but he kept his arm there and pulled her close to him. He could feel her warmth through the blanket and he knew she could feel his cold body but he didn’t want to let go. He looked down at her ”Is this ok?” He was hoping it was so he could hold her a bit longer. At that moment he wanted nothing more than to sit here with her and hold her close to him.

Pearll .. Lynnette .. Spiet When you have nothing to live for, you simply die. Pearll is feeling emotional. "Opps, you saw through me. That's just a joke!" Pearll said as she laughed heartily. "Bet you think I'm going to ask you to the ball." She quickly finished up her huge dinner. "I've gotta go. I need to do something. So see ya tomorrow!" She quickly cleared up her plates and left the dining hall. Why is he so serious? Pacing the shelter outside the Dining Hall, she contemplated going the shortcut towards Moon Dorm and get soaked or go the long way. She wanted to get a change of clothes, no way was she ever going to run in the blazer. You're going to get wet sooner or later. Resigned, she splashed her way towards Moon Dorm. Reaching it, she shook her head like the wolf she was. Giggling slightly at how the water splashed on the front door, she opened it and went in. She quickly ran towards her bedroom. There was nobody here, no humans here, that is. She could be herself. Having to endure a whole day of restraints, she was dead beat; she was totally exhausted.
Stepping into her bathroom, she took off her uniform and turned the tap for hot water. Standing under the hot water, she relaxed as the water worked its magic. It splashed onto her hurting shoulder and she could feel it heal, and it became as good as new. After her short shower, she quickly walked into her bedroom and dress in a pair of shorts and a T-shirt-- her usual grub for her morning jog. She jumped onto her bed and she was so comfortable that before she knew it, she was asleep. Snoring quietly, she tossed and turned as one dream began after the previous ended. She saw her mum and dad, on the boat that took their life. She saw her uncle, in the hospital, dying with tubes of every shape and size surrounding him. She saw Janet, her only friend until she came to Oak Point, being carried away by her adoptive parents. She knew she was dreaming, but she still couldn't stop the heart-wrenching sadness that threatened to tear her apart whenever she thought about her past.
Pearll awoke. Breathing heavily, she wiped her tear-drenched face. She sat up and leaned against the headboard, hugging her knees to her chest. Stop thinking about that. You have a bright future in front of you. Think about that. Stop thinking about the past. Pearll tried to console herself. Her perfect facade of happiness was slipping away. Sighing, she closed her eyes and concentrated. Drawing happiness around her as a cloak, she opened her eyes and gave a smile, an unsettling smile that she don't use very much. Her mother's smile. Convinced that happiness was around her, she walked out of the room and out of Moon Dorms. Pearll walked into the rain and into the surrounding forest. She couldn't phase yet, but she wanted to stay outdoors where she feels at ease.||ooc: guess I don't have a date for the ball. -sigh-|| "I am what I am."

☾kiyarah . antoinette . briarwood☽_________________I can't shake the feeling that maybe ____________you're a part of me. Kiyarah Antoinette Briarwood is feeling just a little : { blissful } Confusion mixed with utter joy filled Kiyarah's body and mind, but more importantly, her heart. It was beating rapidly as Adam touched her cheek. She knew he could hear it, but she didn't care. She was actually pretty proud about it. With the way he was acting around her now, she thought it would be a good idea if she just show him her feelings towards him. But not exactly tell him. She had already given him a hint through the song playing through her boombox. Hopefully his wisdom of the many years he lived would tell him that the song was actually meant for him. It was just common sense with the lyrics and so on. If she knew guys, and she did thanks to Hugo, Adam must have looked through her iPod and saw the playlist that the song currently playing was found. If he didn't understand that "Him" was him, then she would have to find some other way to show him that he meant so much to him. Kiyarah had been so preoccupied with staring at her iPod that she nearly jumped out of her bathrobe when Adam's hand went down to her arm. She looked down at his hand, shivering slightly at his cold skin. And when he lowered her down so that she was sitting on the bed. Her eyes followed all his movements from the second he had touched her to when he sat down beside her. Disbelief could easily be read in her eyes.
Why are you doing this? Why are you caring about me so much? Please don't be joking with me. she thought continuously, watching him grab her blanket and wrap it around her. She was still shivering because of his cold skin. But even though his skin was cold and hard, she felt nothing but warmth run through her entire body when he wrapped his arm around her. If melting was an option for Kiyarah, she would have done it then and there. Happiness and bliss erupted in her heart, so much that it was painful. She grimaced for a moment, but then it was replaced by a very warm smile. She felt safe in his arms, especially when he held her the way he did. It was impossible to not fall for the Adam she was seeing right now, the one that seemed to care about her suddenly. Does this mean that he feels the same way I feel? she thought, opening her eyes to look at up at him. At that same moment, he had asked if it was okay, what he did. She smiled brightly, fighting the sneeze that wanted to come out. "Of cou--Achoo!" So the sneeze won her. She had leaned forward, bringing a blanket covered hand to her mouth and nose. She groaned shortly afterwards but went back into his arms without hesitation. He had a way of making all these physical contacts so natural to her. Resting her head on his hard shoulder, Kiyarah comtemplated whether to take his free hand into hers or to just wrap her own arm around his waist to pull him closer to her.
If I did any of those though, would be pull away instantly? Maybe he's just here to make me feel better to the best of his ability. Like some older brother. The hybrid let out a sigh, closing her eyes as she snuggled up against him, resting her head in the curve of his neck. She took a deep breath, causing her to have his scent go up her nose. For that brief second she could have sworn she swam in ectasy with his scent. He smelled so sweet that it was almost addicting. She wished she could smell like that. And then she couldn't take it anymore. Pulling away from his cool embrace, Kiyarah looked at him with a slightly apologetic expression, her blush appearing again. "Sorry. It's just that--I'm getting tired of this song," she said, crawling over to the other side of her bed so that she was facing her bedside table. She took her iPod off repeat and then went back to her "Him" playlist. When she got the guts to, she was going to change it to "Adam." Scrolling through the songs, she finally decided on a song that would probably, hopefully, give Adam a clue that she cared about him. It was My First Love by Tynisha Keli. The same artist that played the previous song. When she pressed play, Kiyarah crawled back into Adam's arms, this time she decided to hold him as well.
She wrapped her arm around his waist just as the chorus of the song came on, resting her head back on the curve of his neck. She felt that this was the perfect words to tell him how much she felt about him. "I'm so proud to say that you are my first love/When we're together baby know that you're the only one/When you came next to me (Next to me yeah yeah)/And hold me closely/I know you love me you make my story complete(Complete)/I'm so happy that I got you here to hold me down (Hold me down)/I'll never break your heart (Oh never break your heart oh no)/And go astray no way no how/Treasure from up above never betray your trust/Always thinking bout us/Baby I'm forever in love..." Kiyarah closed her eyes, taking in his scent as she hummed along with the song. It was official. She was in total bliss. And with the person she cared so much about. She had liked him for so long. So long that she could not help but think of the possibiliy that maybe she was falling for him. It wasn't like she had started liking him. She had liked him since she about thirteen, and her feelings had always stayed. She just hoped that there was a possibility that maybe he cared about her too. Just maybe. she thought, tracing circles on his side, her blue eyes staring down at their thighs. They were so close now, with his arm around her and hers around him. ll ooc:: Kiyarah Briarwood has become love struck! xDll
