After draining what magic she could out of the room, Gossamer hurried out of the broken room and back into the hallway. She took a quick glance back at the machine, then back at the statue. There was just something...off. Might even go so far as to say wrong. She was just getting a weird feeling about the two things.
Well...she really couldn't mess around with them. The bat was right, she couldn't be wasting time when Rosie was out there somewhere. Turning, she muttered something and immediately vanished.
//EXIT Gossamer to AUDRA A. //
A few moments after she'd left, there was a low purring sound that flowed through the broken room. A slim black cat glided out from behind the statue, a large grin curled around his face.
His amber eyes rested on the spot where Gossamer had been a moment, then traveled to a spot in the room that seemed to have no importance. The spot however, was directly in the view the 'reader' would be, so in a sense, he was staring right out of the page at the audience. Erm...screen in this case. The look made it clear that some kind of twist was about to go down....and the creature seemed to like it.
A second later, the cat was gone in a burst of black smoke that engulfed the entire room. When the smoke cleared, the machine was gone...as well as Hoshi's statue.
