She smiled at his kiss then nervously laughed. "That's putting it mildly." She tugged at his hands before leading him back to her place. She definitely wasn't going to open up in the middle of the beach of how she was preggers.
Opening the door to her bedroom, she left him standing there while she darted for the bathroom, digging around trying to find the tests that prooved she was expecting. She flashed them out in her hand like a deck of cards in an expert poker's hand. "I'm pregnant.."

Ryu's jaw dropped. He used the door frame of the door to keep himself steady and when and only when he was sure he wasnt going to faint he spoke. " How?! We ...we only.... once!! and ..." He stopped. Realizing how his reaction might hurt her. Ryu calmed himself and walked over to dreamer putting the tests aside and taking her hands. " O.k. what do you want to do?" he asked her trying to make himself sound as calm and confident and reassuring as possible.

Only his reaction was a mirror of her thoughts. She gave him a little smile as she gripped his hands gently. "Honestly, I don't know. I know it was only once. Apparently once is all it takes sometimes or for some people. A healer told me she sensed 5 babies..."

Ryus eyes wided and he gulped. "...Five?" He pulled her close and kissed her forehead. " ...lets... keep them?" he whispered. " We can do this. It wont be easy and its totally unplanned but we can do this... together.." He knew that he was in no way ready to be a father but at the same time there were 5 little growing babies inside his precious Dreamer. HIS babies. That thought that feeling gave him an intense sense of strength and hope. He hoped it was the same for her.

She giggled softly. "Yes five. Even better, all girls says the healer." She snuggled close. Lord knew this wasn't going to be easy, what with raising 5 girls. She teased the back of his hair lightly, a comfort thing.

He gulped again. " Oh boy... Daisy is going to go nuts.." he said laughing quietly. " Have you told your clan yet?"

She shook her head, strands or purple and gold moving with her answer. "Not yet...I haven't told anyone but you and the healers...though it wouldn't surprise me if she's said something now."

Ryu nodded. He watched her beautiful purple and gold hair dance in the light when she shook her head. He wondered if their children would all have hair like hers. He hoped they did. " Looks like we have a lot of preparing to do." He said smiling at dreamer. " uhm... we should probably figure out ..where we are going to live... I know that a few from my clan would be willing to help us." he paused getting ahead of himself. " Was there anyone from your clan you wanted to tell? or anyone who could help us?"

"I can only think of our healers...um.....there's one vampire who could help us, I mean in case one or two of our babes are dragons." She shifted a moment. "I haven't had much experience with a young dragon...but she has."

He smiled slightly. " I think I might happen to know a little bit about dragons.... I know Daisy will know a few useful tips as well." he added with a nod. " For now I think its better if you rest. 5 babies is alot... Ill talk to Daisy and whom ever else." he paused trying to hide his worry. How would they deliver 5 babies safely? Ryu knew of couples that had far more but it was always dangerous. " I want you to relax and be as unstressed as possible." He said kissing herforehead.

"mmmkay," she said softly, latching onto him before relaxing a bit. She was more worried to what to expect. Horns and wings in her side and back? Or just a bunch of little feet kicking her? There was a lot to expect from this pregnancy...

Ryu hugged Dreamer gently. " Ill be right back I swear! Im just gana go get Daisy if theres anyone who can help us now its her!" and with that he flew off if search of his surrogate mother.
He returned shortly setting Daisy down by the doorway. He gave Daisy a nervous look.
Daisy looked at him and smiled reasuringly. " You are a son to me. I am happy to help any way I can. Those kids are practically my grandchildren for goodness sakes."
Ryu smiled back and nodded leading her to Dreamers room. He took Dreamers hand and sat with her." Dreamer Id like you to meet the women that raised me. This is Daisy." He said gesturing for Daisy to come closer.
Daisy smiled warmly at Dreamer and hugged her. " Its a pleasure to meet you dear."

Months has past since Ryu had heard those two shocking words that changed his and Dreamers lives forever,"Im Pregnant". Today another big change would come. Ryu held his hand over Dreamers eyes as he lead her and their daughters down the beach. " I can see you trying to peek! Dont peek!" He said over his shoulders to his daughters. All 5 of whom had been born healthy and safely. Ryu counted his 6 blessings. They finally reached the spot. He and some of the family friends had been working for months to build a home big enough to suite the needs of a family of 7! Ryu smiled and waved to Daisy who was waiting with the rest at the doorstep of their new home.
It was beautiful. It was located just on the edge of the forest and flowers had grown in around it. A 2 1/2 story house. first floor contained a large kitchen, dinning room, bathroom and 2 bedrooms. Up the first set of stairs leading halfway between the 2 storys was a large living room with big comfy sofas and a dollhouse which was a miniature replica of the cottage. Up the 2nd staircase was the 2nd floor. Here was the master bedroom with and bath and 3 other child size bedrooms and another small bathroom at the end of the hall.
In the backyard there was a large tire swing hanging from a good strong tree and lines set up for laundry. Also there was a small hut to the left where the washer and dryer could be found for washing clothes and extra storing space could be found as well.
Ryu smiled and kissed Dreamer on the cheek lifting his hand from her eyes. " Ok you can open them now!"
( btw 6 cause he includes Dreamer in those blessings whee )
