June 1stYes. It has finally been done. We have locked all the RP thread to make way for the new RP. All OOC threads will be left unlocked so people can still interact. Firstly, I'd like to apologise to all those who were unable to bring their character to a close for the three year jump. We did our best to warn you of your time left, but sometimes events happen to stop this, or you simply did not read the Announcements, which we did our best to encourage, and for that, you only have yourself the blame. Either way, we are sorry. Next, I'd like to give you the base storyline for the next RP, so you can decide now how you want your character to be. Here it is: The yellow Star Wars/Flash Gordon writting thingy The days of peace and prosperity have once again returned to the Galaxy. After a swift strike by Republican forces over Tatooine, the crippled Imperials were driven from known space. The people of the galaxy rejoiced with the Intergalactic Alliance now completely under Republic control. It was soon renamed the "New Republic". Three years to the day, the people of the New Republic still celebrate this tremendous event with fireworks and a massive parade in the "Centre of the Republic", Corusant. This year, having had no reports of attack since the Imperials fled, the Jedi have been allowed back as "Guardians of the Republic". The main event in this year's festival is the re-opening of the Jedi Temple. Small clashes with Imperial fractions occur from time to time, but most of the imperial force appears to have vanished, the same counting for the Sith... even on Korriban, they cannot be found Meanwhile, beyond the Outer Rim, a dark and powerful force begins to stir..... We hope this well set a solid, yet flexible storyline based upon the old one. Next, I would like to say that people may begin making the new RP threads if they are a continuation of old ones, of, if they are new, have already been approved by a Mod. If they haven't been approved, they will be deleted, unless, of course, we find them acceptable. However, we do ask that people do not start RPing quite yet, until we announce that it is okay. Finally, I would like to say thank you to all of the active members of the guild for making our old RP very interesting, for being very patient with the new RP and for the locking of the Application thread. A new one will be made shortly. I hope that this RP will be even better than the last. Thank you very much ~ Sephy's Galaxies Groupies

The new Application thread has been made and stickied. We ask that everyone post a new form as soon as they can, but do not start RPing until we announce it. THe form has been changed, so we also ask that you are all the information posts in it to make sure what you are filling in is correct. Thank you

Since apperantly a few people do not read stuff about the apps before posting them in the app topic itself, I hope stating it here might help a bit
-1: You do not choose your jedi/dark jedi rank. WE DO
-2: You cannot, in any way, be related to a character from any of the movies or books. Not as a relative, no master>padawan relation, nothing.
They are all long dead anyway. Apps mentioning a famous character as family or master, Yes I've seen them already, with clone was chars, who are dead for 150-100 years) will not be approved
-3: Do use OUR app format. Do not make your own rolleyes
Edit by Sephi: Regarding the third point, I would also like to point out that you have to use the new application format, not simply copy your old application from the old thread. You will not be accepted until you have done this 3nodding

Sephi is not happy with some people posting their applications. What is so hard to understand about "Post the new application form, not the old one or your own made up one"? mad It works very simply. The more time Sephi has to spend checking that people have posted the right application forms, the less time he has to finish his RP threads. This then delays the start of the new RP, especially as I am doing exams this week, my access time will be lower than normal. You will not be able to start RPing until you have posted the right application form. End of story.

Addition;
No movie characters/extended universe characters does include the following
-Nobody has possibly lived any happenings from movies and extended universe trough cloning/freezing
In other words, your character being cloned/frozen from an ancient time, whatever time that is, is not possible. Only characters BORN NATURALLY in an acceptable timerange from the storyline, depending on their age, are acceptable.
OUR TIMELINE starts 60 years after the demise of the Vong, 60 years before our current story, and everyone from the vong time is dead/. If you are born within our timeline, freezing and cloning are possibilities of your App, again, as long as you are born, or the original clone is born, in the 60 years before our story. Got it? no? ask seph and hope he got it, else pm me.
This to stimulate creativity in thinking of events and history instead of having the standard "I am a clone of anakin skywalker and trained by yoda" like stories.
To avoid confusion, we cannot make any exeptions on this rule.
Finally
Advertising other Star Wars Guilds in topics is NOT ALLOWED
We already have an activity problem and cannot risk to loose members to other guilds this way. Sig advertising is allowed of course.
Remember that our guild likes banners, and people to put those banners in their sigs. Make them if you want ^^

June 13th
This a personal request from James Tanner to announce this. There may be severe delays on lightsaber signature orders as the only PC he is able to make them on has come down with a very very bad virus and the PC will need to be re-formatted. This also means that anyone requesting edits to pictures he has already made will unfortunately be denied, as all the saved pictures will be lost, making changes to them extremely difficult. He sincirely apologises to all who are waiting as will get back to work on them as soon as the PC is up and running again.
While on the topic, this virus means that Sephi has no access to Galaxies and will therefore be not in a good mood until it is fixed mad

*Trumpet sounds* It is finally done! The majority of the RP threads have been completed, and this is the official announcement that RP can now begin! ^^
Firstly, I personally would like to apologise for taking so long in completely my threads and therefore delaying the start of the RP by many weeks. I hope the new RP makes up for it.
Next, we would like to remind everyone to read everything before they start to RP. The homepage is especially important, as it sets out the new story. Also, the rules and descriptions in threads should also be read throughly. Though many threads may seem to be duplicates from the old RP, changes have been made constantly, which could be important. Remember, ignorance is not an excuse x3
Finally, some threads may still not be quite complete, so please be patient with them.
Once your character application has been approved, which you will need to check yourself, you can begin to RP straight away.
Once again, many apologies and we hope you enjoy yourselves.

~ After a nice, long "holiday" away from home, I finally returned to the Guild to finish up the small tasks that were asked of me way back at the end of May. xD That is, I sort of finished up the Republic thread, then created a new costume thread-- done purely for uniformity.
~ With the majority of mods gone on vacation this summer, Seffi and I myself are the only ones here for a bit. In a matter of a week and a half, on July tenth, I'll be heading out on another, longer vacation... leaving almost no one to help Seph as he contends with the guild duties. In my absence, and perhaps a bit longer, a small group of modlings will be erected.
Do NOT PM Seffi or K about being a moderator. It will exempt you from any chance you might've had at the beginning. As of now, Seph and I are only THINKING about it, so don't get your little hopes up.
~ As Seph stated above, the new RP has begun. Please note that some threads are still a little cluttered and unfinished, so please be patient as we work on the final touches. Seffi and I had decided that we'd better get the RP up and running before angry RP-ers maul us. o_o
Have fun with RP! Don't be afraid to ask if you have a question. ^^ <3

On the same note as the last announcement, the new Modlings have been granted their powers. Incase you don't know who they are, there are;
1.Krome_devil
2.Brood Mayran
However, as they are only "Temp-Mods" they only have to power to delete spam/pointless threads (as they deem fit), accept new member/applications and enforce all the rules. They cannot change the running of the guild, or ban any members.

Sephi just realised that he hasn't been updating the memberlists for both the Jedi and the Dark Jedi threads. Yes, even the best of us make mistakes gonk If you character application has been accepted and your name is not on the list, please PM me your Character Name, your Gaia Name and which thread you need it posted in, and I'll update it straight away. Sephi isn't doing this himself simply because he has dial-up and it will take ages to go through five pages of image heavy apps gonk
