X-2 is pretty good i just geetting around to playing it but i wish there were a way to choose weapons. ninja

I thought FFX was alot better than FFX-2 (sorry if i butted into anything sweatdrop ). i thought X-2 was.....okay but id much rather X because its alot more enjoyable. i dident like how you need to have those shperes to change their outfits and stuff. so yea X all the way 3nodding

I makes all FFs look bad. really you guys are missing the point to X-2 . . . . it doesn't make all FFs look bad . . . you're just looing at the surface of the game instead of it's intent. Which is sad and makes me realize how stupid America is becoming. It's starting to be looks are everything . . . stare so all of a sudden you bring America into it just to raise a few eyebrows.. chances are that people who post here will have played all or at least some of X-2, and to assume that they're judging it on looks is jumping to such a huge conclusion that the conclusion itself covers the entirety of this page, and this guild. Then prey tell us, what IS the point to X-2 that we're all missing? Any Final Fantasy story has a deep love story. A lot of people here are just looking at the clothes they wear and they're asying it sucks. That whole game was based on the fact that Yuna wanted to change and the fact that she wanted Tidus back. Wanna know why I think American's are obsessed with how things look (I'm American too btw)? The people who sort out our food and everything throw away the foods that are shaped funny. Tomatoes that aren't round, are thrown away. Why? Becuase we think they look funny and therefore it's not edible. When most people buy things, do you really look at how it runs and everything? What's inside of it? No. You look at it. If it looks cool, you buy it. People base most opinions on how something looks. Not by what it actually is. If a car looked really cool and had THE worst engine, I bet you someone would buy it. I'm just saying that people looked at the game and thought it was bad instead of going through the plot and analyzing it. There's an example in this very thread (i'm not bashing on you btw): IveKinneas I like having at some playible male characters.... because most of the time they look cool. People go by looks. Yet again people . . . these girls are not sluts. A slut sleeps around . . . none of these girls do that. Their outfits don't define them at all. I agree...people focus way too much on graphics and how things look and dont pay any attention to the underlying storyline of the game itself. A good example (or so i think) is the pokemon games. who the ******** really even knows the point? no one...i do...the point of the game is NOT, I repeat NOT to catch them all...the point of the game or i should say plot of the game is to discover hidden traits within yourself and to expand upon those and use new skills in life. *wow...that was a random rant...what was i talking about again?*

I did not liek X-2 as it ruined everything to do with final fantasy! I loved some of the ideas in X but i think it could have been better, the best thing from X was deffinatly the sphere grid which kicked too much a**!!

I looked at the story line...its not just graphics that matter to me. I hate the characters except Paine. The storyline is just really stupid to me because most of it has nothing to do with finding tidus. (in my opinion anyways)

FFX was much better than FFX-2 to me. Reason being, as I was working my way toward "the perfect ending" in FFX-2 I noticed you have the job system(dress spheres), and a leveling system that have nothing to do with eachother. So in more basic terms, they put EXP and leveling into the game for nothing. I unlocked the trainer dress sphere when I realized this. At level 58Yuna 59Paine and 56Rikku(<~long story), they were killed in Kilika's forest by wasps. The levels really don't effect every job, mainly just the melee jobs are affected. First time I went through the game I went with all three girls as warriors so I never noticed the level thing. I wanted to master every job with all the girls and had to build a system for it rather than doing it all at once. Also, since when in a FF title can't a WHM hit an enemy. >_< With FFX's sphere grid system, I got Yuna to be one of the best DDs in the game. Had her go through Tidus' and Aaron's section of the sphere grid. Plus I gave Lulu Double cast, Ultima, Holy, and Flare. Rikku and Tidus have Mime.... pwned bosses.

What I liked about it is it draws from more modern Japanese Culture as opposed to the Okinawan Japanese Final Fantasy X, not that I like it any less. Heres a thought did anyone catch that the three animals Yuna, Rikku, and Paine carry around in the Trainer Dress sphere are the three animals from the Japanese Legend Momotaro?

Ok now you see here is the problem... X-2 wouldnt have been half as bad if it was a total difference than FFX... they would have needed different people... storyline... its alright... its different and thats good... BUT it just isnt fit to have the Final Fantasy name on it... in my opinion..

the thing that bothers me is that people are STILL only talking about how the clothing "ruined" the game. She was trying to make herself better and she was trying to find Tidus. She let everyone run her over in X and she was trying to change that in X-2. She did that through the many missions she did . . . yes they may have been time consuming and a bit ridiculous BUT there is still a point to everything. I also agree with Beaner_Person about how it draws from modern japanese culture. That part actually made me really happy.

Ryukkuu I thought X-2 was okay.. it was just really, -really- corny at times. sweatdrop But it was still fun to play, at least.
Trying to get the perfect ending is insane, though. I was going to, but I never got around to it. sweatdrop Ditto.I was disgusted at Rikku's main dress-sphere.The first time I saw it I was thinking"Whore Whore Whore".Yuna's outfit was a bit more bearable. I thought the storyline was pretty cute and the dress-spheres were pretty cool.I liked FFX better than X-2 because the story was a bit more, serious.

I agree. FFX-2 wasn't...NEEDED. x.x; I mean I guess it was because Tidus was gone...but the revelation that life goes on is great in X....why'd they have to make Rikku and Yuna into sluts? D;
