Expression shifted from serene apathy to a scowl, but no words escaped him, not a single word or sound. A hand reached out, small fingers tapped against Lavi's lips to make his cease blabbering, ears twitching gently, as if to pick sounds from his environment. His eyes drifted again among the people in the house. Stopping on Rynl, Allen and Dino respectively for only a few brief moments each. He had looked at each for entirelly different reasons, he couldn't speak of them however, so his lips were to remain sealed.

"Yuu-chan, can ya talk?" Lavi asked whgen Kanda didn 't reply with a scathing remark, or a threat with whatever his skill was in death. Lavi noticed he looked at the rooms other male occupants. 'What's that about?' He thought.

Kanda, pressed a single index finger against his lips. He couldn't talk. Pulling away, he motioned the red-head to follow him and exited through the broken window, swift and agile like an actual fox. Charcoal black feet formed landed in the pure whiteness of snow outside. He looked back, almost heaving a soundless sigh at that. But he couldn't heave it so he didn't it. He merely took a few steps ahead, wether Lavi followed him for an explanation or not it was still the same for him. All the same.

Lavi followed, unsure of where Kanda was leading him. "What is this about Yuu-chan? And what's going on?" He knew he wasn't going to get an--no, he was actually pretty unsure on that. Was Yuu going to answer him, and if he did, how? Could he really talk?

Dino watched the two leave, staring. ".....what just happened?" He asked the other two in the room. Lavi had walked out with what looked like another demon, this time a fox.

Turning backwards to look at Lavi with a spiteful glare, Kanda quickly brought one hand up and hit the top of his head hard with the side of his katana's blade. "That for what you did earlier." he scowled, putting the weapon away just as fast as he had pulled it out of its seath. He heaved a deep sigh and turned the other way. "I am merely waiting for her to appear... for now." he said. He closed his eyes halfway and then turned back to Lavi, "plus I couldn't speak to you in that house. I am bound by oath not to speak in that house." he sighed again. "I am not allowed to speak in presence of the souls to be put on trial by my blade." he smirked, but it wasn't really a smile, more like an expression of giving up. "You don't need to trouble yourself with that as of yet, however. That time is still far away... for now..." he added again and his words had a dark, an ominous ring to them.

Allen blinked then turned to Dino. He still wasn't sure of the how or the why it had all hapenned. For one they all seemed quite unrelated. "That was... Kanda..." he trailled off, stunned. But he still couldn't believe it himself. It would seem they slowly started to gather together for the one reason or the other... but he couldn't understand what this reason was...

That creature reminded Dino of another person he knew, one whose memories of him only brought pain to the rabbits heart, clenching his fist in a way to stifle the pain, he looked curiously at Allen. "Kanda, so...he was a friend?" This had to be a weird and shocking experience for the older ghost. 'If he could remember Lavi that is.' Dino thought with a sigh.

This would be something Lavi would need to keep Kanda around for, if only to know how to protect the innocent souls in that house. 'Because they've done nothing wrong, they shouldn't be judged.' Wait, had Kanda said 'her'? Lavi had a sneaking suspicion he knew who that her was. "So you know shes back too?" He asked, taking a seat on the ground. "Do you know when she came back? What made her...that?" Lavi knew that one, but did Kanda?

Allen twitched at that. Friend? Kanda??? He was about to make a sharp and biting comment about the how some people were called using some very improper words to explain the full image of what he had in mind... but he didn't. Because a sudden feeling of distance and emptyness filled him up. Why...? How could Kanda know Lavi? Lavi himself claimed that he was merely someone who had come across him, himself, in his travels... then how could he know Kanda too? For all he remembered Kanda was there, pissing the hell out of him, most of the time. But the worse thing was that the raven-haired young man appeared to know Lavi as well. Well enough to ask so casually to talk to him in privacy. Well enough for Lavi to cheerfully glomp him to ask of his wereabouts... He was feeling... He was feeling sort-of left-behind. He was feeling odd, as if the world conspired against him, as if there was some kind of invisible wall raised between him and the rest of the people from his past, as if there were separate universes.
Everyone else was so well, they were together, knew each other, he on the other hand... he didn't have much of a past before his death to recall of and he was alone... All alone, at the othe side of the glass box, feeling deserted and lonely, wanting to scream, wanting to cry, wanting to die so he wouldn't have to be alone anymore. No... no, wait. He was scaring himself, what was that again? Why did he think of that? It made his heart beat faster, afraid of something that he didn't know what it was. But it felt familiar somehow and it scared him even more.
"Yeah..." he finally repplied to Dino's question, unsure of himself. "Sort of..." he trailed off in a numb manner, his mind still at his oddly grim thoughts.

Kanda shrugged and shoved either hand in the pockets of the simple black shirt he was wearing. He lowered his eyes, concealing hidden bitterness. He merely nodded at Lavi's first question. A small, sharp, decisive nod, nothing of the likes most people do. He heaved another sigh at the second and third questions. "Murder." he simply stated, charcoal eyes lifting again to pierce through Lavi's visible one. He did know of her death, and while the other did too there was no real meaning in discussing it, was there?
"Though how she became what she became I do not know, in soul she might be the same, her essence however feels..." he trailled off. He didn't know the exact word to use. Helooked away for a moment, thinking of what he felt when he first encountered her. A mixed feeling was what he got from her... hatred, anger... and a void of nothingness filled by decaying things. "Machigatta..." he simply mumbled afterwards, finding that the word in japanese described the siyuation much better than its english equivalent.

Dino's ears drooped; had he said something wrong? He walked over, placing a comforting hand on Allen's shoulder. "Wanna talk?" He asked, leading them from the room. The empty yet angry look in Rynl's eyes was beginning to scare Dino, the look all too familiar. Like looking at....my death. He thought, shuddering.

"Yuu, can...can you tell me why you have to 'punish' the others?" Lavi asked, biting his lip. It was bothering him, wondering what they had done.

Allen sighed. "I wouldn't know what to talk about..." he mumbled bitterly, his comment directed to his lack of memory. He sighed looking at the usagi yokai. He seemed sad... Deiciding to back off for now he nodded his head. "Yeah I guess..." he mumbled, going over to Dino as everyone walked their own way to go back to what they were doing before all of this... just hapenned...

He shrugged, brushing a lock of his ebony black hair aside. "It's my own punishment." he simply said. "I won't be released 'lest I do as required, nor do I reffer to everyone in there. In fact, it is only the blond mafia boss and the one you call your disciple, the heartless one." he paused and looked away. "And then there is she..." he shrugged again, as if there was a pain on his back that he was trying to shake off.

"One more thing Lavi..." he spoke yet again. "Stay away from Allen."

Those two? But...they had done nothing wrong, not in death for the rabbit at least. "What's there to gain from their deaths? And who's this girl Yuu?" And most importantly, though he didn't voice it, why stay away from Allen? It didn't sound like the warning of a jealous ex, or even a concerned friend, it sounded like a warning from an envoy for the reaper.' Funny, since that's what Yuu is now.'

"I wish I could leave, and check on my family." He sighed, letting Allen move closer. The boy was so odd about it; one minute he was stand offish and the next he was like a kid wanting comfort. Dino found it odd and amusing.[/gold]

He shrugged, looking away. He didn't want to have to explain... he didn't want, by any means to speak, to explain... but then again he couldn't refuse a question from Lavi since Lavi was who he was after all. He sighed, and turned around to watch him. Watch him closely. He studied his expression, the way he was looking at him. He seemed... the same. He felt... the same. Lavi... he was so lucky inside his bad luck, so lucky, unlike him... His body bent and changed, he wanted Lavi to see this, know this. Dark fur grew out, his eyes becoming wider, clothes dissapearing and arms growing longer until he became a fox entirelly. Black-laquer eyes mirrored the surroundings perfectly but there was nothing left inside of them but barren wasteland. The 'armor' of bone that covered some parts of his body shimmered harshly, the color of the moon.
"I have nothing more to lose." he merely said, his voice sounding strange, as if comming from deep inside a well. "I only wish I can ascend somehow, in time..."

Turning back to his original form he heaved a sigh. "You met her, don't tell me you didn't feel it, you know she's Lenalee don't you...?" he questioned. "She made the ultimate sacrifice..." he trailled off. "She doesn't have a name, a gender nor a certain form. She changes, constantly, that's why she managed to hide away for so long." he sighed. "For one last time. Beware. And stay away from Allen Walker." that being said, he hid either hand in the pockets of his coat and walked away.

Allen sighed. "Then why don't you?" he smiled at Dino. "I'm sure they'll be happy to see you, Dino-san!" he felt the need to laugh but didn't, in order not to sound rude. He looked away then back at Dino. "It's not long ever since you died, Dino-san." he said. "They wouldn't have forgotten you." he said with a nod of his head. But those words... they were kind of hurtful even though they escaped him without him managing to hold them back...

The transformation, Lavi had seen it in other ghosts, but to see it so close, and into such a threatening creature, one that oddly fit the solemn ghost before him. He watched Kanda turn and walk away, not forgetting his advice. "I won't leave him, not when everyone else has." He muttered, glaring at the space the other ghost had once been.

Dino shook his head, as much as he wanted to go back he didn't at the same time. "I prefer here over the business of my old life." He replied, trying not to sound hurt by Allens words, or believe them.

Kanda shifted again in his fox form but a few steps later in order to pick up speed. 'Idiot' he thought to himself. He wasn't the one to talk to him about the consequences of his actions, sure, but Lavi was already making a great mistake by even staying in that place and his presence could really only be of harm, he thought, however this was his own belief and opinnion and he could force it on none. He heaved a sigh as he ran through the snow, his nose picking up odours from his environment and his ears catching the slightiest of sounds, he couldn't convince anyone... even when they needed to know... He wondered if the Soulless bookman had knowledge of it all as well, he bet he did. After all the Bookman had given him the Gift of wandering without a soul... being what he always sought to become "...in the land where what you are determines who you are..." he muttered, climbing on a tall building from the outside, jumping from wall to wall of a small alley he lifted his head against the darkenned sky and locked eyes with the nothingness beyond. It was only at such times that his soul would find a little fragment of the peace he sought so hard.
Sitting up in his human form again he looked away trying to determine where he should head next. The city was vast, he knew that, and there where about a million of places from where he could begin his search anew.

Allen cocked his head to one side. Dino was acting a bit suspicious. Then again it could be that he didn't want to actually speak about it so he didn't push further. He knew better than that. Instead he did what he was used in doing at such situations. Talk around it. "What did you use to do, Dino-san?" he asked about his work. Truth was... he wasn't sure about this question either but it was stated already so he just wished it hadn't come off as blunt.

The way back was pretty quiet, since Lavi was mostly thinking/ Allen wasn't a danger, definitely not, but then, hadn't he been the greatest risk to the Black Order. Lavi shook is head. "No, Allen is not a threat, not a risk anymore, especially since the Earl and the Order are just history now." Even the Noah, he thought at least.

Should he tell him? Well, it wouldn't hurt, he had no threats now to his life. "I was a mafia don, tenth generation head of the Cavallone famigilia, but that wasn't what I originally wanted to do." This made him shudder, as he was remembering his 'lessons' with Reborn on being a proper mafia boss. The moment passed, and he looked curiously at Allen. "Would you like to hear?" It wouldn't hurt to tell this boy some parts of his life he decided, just no information pertaining to the mafias dealings.

Inside the darkness a faint tremble gave birth to a small reflection that was soon going to become half-light. A soft breath escaped his lungs, he had such a long time to actually take a breath... he enjoyed the feeling that accompanied his breath, it almost felt like rebirth. He openned his eyes a little bit, then closed them again. It felt warm and as if he was plunged in liquid... almost like a womb. He smilled faintly to himself and allowed himself to drift off in the dormant sleep-like condition he was for years upon years now. The boy had been kind enough to carry him inside of him all this time... it was... a relief, at least. And so he would sleep... until it was actually time to wake up again.

Allen smilled kindly at Dino's words and without saying much he reached one hand out to take Dino's in his he moved in the kitchen and slid the door close after him so they'd be alone in order to speak. Letting go of Dino so he could seat himself wherever he wanted, he went to heat up some milk. He was going to make some hot chocolate... it wasn't going to be hard... was it? He didn't know how to cook, but that was just a drink... so yeah!
Somehow managing not to mess up he brought the cups to the table and sat down against Dino. It sounded a bit odd to him, Dino's occupation. He didn't really know what a mafia don was, however by what he came to read on the papers as of lately and what he listenned at from others, the mafia weren't exactly 'good' people. Dino-san was okay though.... Allen had always felt comfortable around him.

"Whatever you want to tell me, I want to hear!" Allen smiled. He wanted to know all he could, he really did. Maybe it would make Dino open up more and maybe he'd find useful things out, so it was all good, wasn't it?
