A massive metal spiked hand appeared just inches away from Aizel. The three spikes which formed sort of like fingers had to be at least 6 feet long. Holy shiz.
I really dont want to do this.

Aizel let out a startled yelp, and clambered back onto his feet. He stared at the spikes, thinking how dangerously close to piercing his chest they were.
'Y-You don't? Then, then why offer?' he carefully asked.

There was silence for a moment as the spiked hand retreated back into the void.
I.. dont know. But you get the point. Anyways. Do you accept, or not?

Aizel tried to gather his thoughts and keep relatively calm, which was not the easiest of tasks. He did not think that accepting this offer would do him any favours, yet he could not see an alternative. He was stuck in a forest he could not navigate through, and at that moment in time, held in a ring of fire.
Can't imagine things getting much worse, I suppose, he mentally reasoned.
'O-Okay then. I, I, I a-accept your offer...'

Hmmhm. Final question. Do you truly wish to want and have this present?

'Er...' he uncertainly began, stumped. '...Yes?'

Alright. All you have to do is wake up now. I believe you fell asleep. I think. Correction, at least *try* to wake up.

'W-Wait - what? I'm not a-asleep...!' Aizel replied, now utterly confused. 'I, I dunno how I g-got here, that's true, but...I'm pretty, pretty certain I'm awake.'

.. Oh fine.
The ring of fire died down until there was nothing. The darkness turned back into reality, and everything was back to normal. The forest and all was the same. Except for one thing. It was daytime instead of nighttime. Then there was another thing..

He breathed a loud sigh of relief; now that the sun had risen, he had a better chance of finding his way out of the forest. He started to slowly advance through the thick trees once more, not paying enough attention to his surroundings to notice if anything else was slightly amiss.

There was a small stream of water trickling up ahead, only about 4 inches wide. Moss surrounded most of it. A few beams of sunlight reflected upon it and the rocks beside it.

Aizel followed the sound of trickling water, and a few minutes later, finally came to the stream. He paused, staring at the sparkling light that reflected off the surface of the water, taking a moment to observe the now almost-serene atmosphere.

"So. I do see you used the key." A voice said up on the treetops. It was the same voice the 'thing' was from last night.
(( brb while I attempt to draw the calm scene Aizel's in xD ))

'Huh?' he gasped, startled out of his reverie. He spun around, trying to see who spoke. 'Y-Yeah...I did.'

A figure glided down from a tall tree. He turned out to be an anthromorphic echidna. "Well. Examining yourself in the water?"
