And...having finally been weighed since I first started my diet about 4 months ago, I have lost over 50lbs. Not too bad.

I've given up junk, and so far stayed true to it for a little while now...I'm also slowly incorporating daily exercise into my routine as well.

This week I've been having fruit and toast for breakfast, and salad for lunch and dinner, and allowing myself one small chocolate a day, only two cups of tea and only drinking water. I've stopped running for the moment, but instead I've been doing other exercises for 20 min a day, eg, crunches, press-ups, etc.
I have lost 5lb this week. eek domokun And I love the salad! heart
Tonight I've been invited for a pizza party for a friend's birthday. @_@ Will increase my exercise load for today to balance it out.

I've lost a total of 10 lbs, and although it's slowed a bit, I'm currently building muscle and have slimmed down to fit clothes that I haven't been able to wear in a year! smile

I went to the gym today, I did 30 minutes of cardio (varying my target heart rate from 153 for 2 minutes, to 166 for 3 minutes (advised by my trainer)) Its a harder workout when you are concentrating and making sure of what your heart rate is.
Then I did some weights. I'm going to go updated my measurements and such so I can start over in the progress thread.

My last yay moment was about two days ago. I went to a store where a friend from my old school works. She hadn't seen me after I'd started the diet, and she freaked out when she saw me. Personally I don't think 27lbs is big enough to really notice (I sure couldn't) but she saw it and it felt good. Of course, now I'm in a slump...
