Umicho finnishes her fish, wiping her mouth off with her paw, then looks over at him. "Why aren't you eating it? Don't like it?"

Red quickly went back to eating the fish, a bit embarrassed that he'd been caught watching her, "Er, no... I'm not sure... I just... Wasn't sure if I was eating it right... There are a lot of bones." he said through various bites and spitting bones out.

"The smaller bones are actually edible. Just don't eat bigger bones like the spine." She smiled and walked closer to Red, a thought crossing her mind. For now she'd wait until he finished eating though.

Red shrugged and hesitantly finished the rest of the fish before sitting back and licking his chops. "Well, that was... interesting..." He noticed that she was closer now, and it startled him a bit, though he didn't show it except in a subtle tightening of his shoulders.

Umicho giggled, then moved closer, tagging him on the shoulder. "Can you catch me?!" With that she bolted off, laughing all the while.

Red blinked as she ran off, but chased after her, his tail leaving a trail of embers in his wake. She was quite fast, but he put every muscle in his warrior-trained body behind his paws.

Umicho looked back behind her to see if he was chasing her. When she saw that he was she sped up as fast as she could, sticking her tongue out at him teasingly. She had no doubt he'd catch her, but maybe a game would loosen him up.

Red could feel the muscles rippling under his skin as he pushed his legs forwrd, bangles jingling. If he could just get close enough... His eyes narrowed at her as she stuck her tongue out, and he returned the gesture.

She laughed when he stuck out his tongue at her. She had pretty much exausted herself already and was slowing down a little.

Red smirked slightly as she was starting to slow, let out a few heavy breath as he got closer and... Pushed off of his back legs in a direct pounce at her, decorations tinkling as he soared through the air at her, careful to keep his claws retracted, despite his instinct's call to extend them.

Umicho's eyes widened when a shadow hovered over her. She desperatly tried to speed up, to no avail.

Red landed down on top of her, his forepaws squeezing her haunches tightly so he wouldn't just slid off of her as she ran. "Hah!" he laughed, though it also sounded like a heavy exhale, with a toothy grin right near her ear.

Umicho let out a loud yelp as the red lion landed square on her back. When he laughed, she shuddered. Something about how he had pounced scared her a little. She did her best not to show it though.

Umicho shuddered again, feeling rather scared with him on her back. The position made her very nervous for some reason. Her tail curled around one of her hind legs as she tried to stay calm.
