"Who is this guy, Kikyo?" Blade asked. "And why is he so bent on playing Lord Loss?" He looked at his friend.
"He has convinced himself that he is able to beat Lord Loss" Kikyo said. "And He offered to go against Lord Loss with me fighting the familiars for...you know who." She finished, not looking at her companion
"You told him?!" Blade almost demanded. "Why?!"
"I didn't tell him who, so chill." Kikyo said calmly.

"hey, now listen" enuru said angrily "i don't give a damn about your friend, i want to play lord loss. and i don't think i can beat him, i CAN beat him. if not by playing fair, then another way. but i can beat him normally, and if you think you will even be a challenge to him, then you are insane. i am the one person who can help your friend, and i am offering to, free of charge."

"No." Both Blade and Kikyo said in unison. "You aren't playing with us!" Kikyo half glance at her friend, then turned her attention back on Enuru. Blade simply glared at him.

"Show me this fool! RIGHT NOW!" He roared. Stomping over to where James had opened the portal. Beranubus stepped through the portal he had just made and looked around.
James looked around worridly. "Ho crud. I feel bad for the girl." James sighed and stepped through the portal.

"hah. good luck getting even one of his peices then. if you let me take a pawn of yours in three turns, you have no chance" enuru said, smiling. "oh and by the way. without this chance, i will summon him on my own, play him on my own, and kill him on my own. your poor little friend is gonna have to be like that for his entire life." he said, still smiling "he will remain a FREAK."

Blade snapped. He punch Enuru and glared at him.
"You a**hole!" he yelled, Glaring daggers at him. "I'll kill you!"
"Blade! Knock it off!" Kikyo said, trying to hold him back. She then glared at Enuru. "I'd like to see you summon Lord Loss without the proper spell."

Greg spoke up, "Okay, Lord Loss is the Chess king dude, right? So, why would you want to summon a chess nerd?" he asked. He wasn't the brightest crayon in the box.

"I have a cousin who is cursed with being a werewolf." Blade said. "and the only one who can get rid of that in one person is Lord Loss. The only way Lord loss will cure them is if two people challenge the demon master, and beat him in a game of chess. It's really only in Lord Loss's favor, so it'd be pointless to try anyway."
"Blade, You're so pessimistic." Kikyo said, rolling her eyes.

"You have no right to play the demon master." Blade snapped. "So he won't listen. You'll have to give him a good proposition in order to just gain his attention. We Grady's do it to cure family. Friends of the family help out when they are asked. Lord Loss only plays us because firstly, he gets to watch two people suffer, and secondly, if you win, the chess player has to fight him in the Demonata universe. He toys with them there, I here."
"And if either the chess player loses or the fighter loses, all three die." Kikyo finished for Blade.
I almost forgot! Tonight's a full moon! s**t! She thought, emembering she and Blade had to travel back home together. Blade seemed to know too, cause he didn't look so good.
