Livi realized their escape was hopeless and tried the only thin she knew how to do: morph. She contemplated her different morphs for little more than a second before settling on a Kareda, a large bird from her planet. Even while running, she managed to morph into the Kareda without the boy catching her. She gipped Altair in her stong talons. It's me, she said. Don't worry. I'll find a way to save us. Then she beat hard with her wings and began to rise upward.

Altair struggled for a moment before he realized that it was, in fact, her. He tried to keep from moving. He wasn't afraid of heights - he actually enjoyed them - but he was afraid of being carried by nothing more than two talons on his arms and falling down to fight people with powers. He gripped her talons tightly.
Feel free to get us to safety quick, he thought urgently.

Billie nodded and flew up ahead, she tore off her other glove revealing another speaker in her hand. She aimed them at the two and let off large waves of sound directly at them. She flew up closer to them, and held them there with her waves, "I'd give this up if I were you. I don't want to hurt you if I can help it, so please give yourself up now," she increased the volume of her waves to at the very least distort their mindset.

Livi had never morphed so often in such a short amount of time, and it was beginning to take its toll on her. Her wingbeats slowed and they began to descend. She barely even had enough energy to keep her hold on Altair. Altair, I have to morph out, she cried. We'll fall, but I don't know how dangerous it is. Then she changed into a villain again and plummeted.
The first thing Livi registered after landing was pain, intense pain. Then she seemed to be floating and looked down below. She gasped. Her body was there, as well as Altair's - he seemed to be fine, but she certainly wasn't. This was death. She knew it instantly. And it didn't help that she thought she saw a pair of handcuffs on the boy.
All of a sudden she returned to her body and the pain hit her all at once. She moaned. Just get it over with, please, she thought to herself.

Nathan sighed. He walked ahead to Billie and stood next to her. He then, opened his hands in a sphere-like figure. A small purple orb formed in his hands. He thrusted his hands forward and the orb flew at the two and enveloped them as it grew to an enormous size. Nathan moved toward the two now trapped inside his bubble. "Now, I'll ask you again. Who are you? And why are you here?"

Livi moaned. She was in pain - couldn't this boy see that? She was dying. There was no avoiding it. Livi wouldn't live much longer unless a healer came, a good healer. She could barely open her eyes to see the orb that surrounded the, Livi didn't know how many bones were broken - certainly some ribs, and likely an arm. Perhaps she even had a concussion. But she was dying, most certainly.

Billie looked at Nathan and then at Livi. She then picked up her flute, "Even though she is a villain, I can't stand letting someone die like this," she lifted her flute to her mouth and blew soft notes at Livi that helped sooth her pain and mend some of her wounds. She even took on some of the pain so she could heal herself easier."

Livi's eyes fluttered open. "That music again," she murmured. "It's so...different though, so soothing." Her eyes shut again and she realized that the music was healing her. Then her eyes shot open again and gazed, slightly out of focus, as the girl. "I'm fine now," and she was. She reached up to silence the flute. "And who says I'm a villain? I'm just a shape-shifter, and there's no saying that a shape-shifter is a villain."

"It is when you're registered as a terrorist on the List the Science Police gave us." Nathan held up a holo-gram that showed her status on the Terrorist List. "Olivia Raven Carthidge. Birth planet; unknown. Age; 17. Abilities; Shape-shifting of selves own body into any known object, living or inanimate. Charges; 39 accounts of thefts, maiming of several known intelectual creatures, murder in the 1st degree, 6 times, and installing, and activating a bomb on an oil rig out in the Yallatun Sea on the Planet of Seraph." Nathan put away the holo-gram. "We get updated weekly. Now, tell me you're not a villain." Nathan gave the girl a playful scowl of success. He had won. Not that it had been hard to do. But, now he had this girl and her accompliss, if he is, in his grasp. And there was no way they were going to get out.

"That's not me!" Olivia gasped. "I'm no murderer. And my name's not Olivia Raven Carthidge. It's Olivia Dawn Michaelson. I was born on Lokat!" Of course, she was lying - about everything except the murdering. She'd never killed. Sure she had injured some people pretty badly, but she couldn't stand death. And she never would. "I am no murderer, sir!"

"Give it up. I've already done my research. You've been caught by the Science Police to many times, and you've escaped every single time. You think they'd know the difference by now. Last arrest was last year. During the National Vault was rated. You were caught at the scene of the crime. Red hand, might I add. Olivia, there aren't many human girls with that name in the world. And I have cross refrenced that and that you are human. When you transform, you give off a certain secretion that is radioactive. It's produced by your adrenal glands. But, when you are in you birth form, you do not give off that secretion. And you've been wondering how they have caught you so many times." Nathan humphed. He opened his holo-generator and looked at the time. "Hmm, time for lunch. To bad for you and your friend here. You're going to have to eat in a prison cell together.

Livi knew it was hopeless, but she tried anyway. "Sir, I don't know who you have mistaken for me, but I am not a murderer, never have been, never will be! So will you please just leave me alone and let the two of us go. Olivia Raven Carthidge - I have never heard of such a person! And here you are saying that she is me! You have made a terrible mistake!"

Billie stopped playing her flute and winced a bit. She looked between Livi and Nathan for a bit. Her eyes landed on Livi, "Your voice sounds sincere, but...I am sorry, my waves don't lie to me. I felt negative waves coming from you. You may be right that you are not that Olivia, but maybe you are and are just not aware of it. That is a possiblity," she winced again and brought her hand up to her shoulder, "It looks like you were hurt more than I thought."

"I'm fine," Livi repeated, glowering. "From where I come from, the name Olivia is common, and the power of shape-shifter even more so. At my school we had three Olivias who were shape-shifters! One of them must be the Olivia you are looking for. Besides, how would you know who I am? I think I know myself better than you. And how can you tell I was injured a lot?"

Billie gave a small smile, "I know your pain because in order to get rid of yours, I had to accept it. Pain cannot just disappear like that. And since it was not you, then why were you watching us?" she spoke softly clutching her shoulder some to ease off some of the pain she was feeling throughout her body.
