Some Might Say... "Since I have been able to walk, yes." He answered absently. He let the lily dropped from his hand and flutter silently into the water. When it was an inch from the water, it glowed faintly and stop. The water rose up to meet it and pulled it back into it. ...The Saddest of Pandas

Tanya watched the lily and the water, her eyes wide with curiosity. "Did you do that?" she asked, looking a little awestruck.

Some Might Say... Onsphalt smiled at her warmingly. "Did you like it?" He asked. "Simple telepathy." He explained it in case she was wondering. He was a mentalist, there were very few things you couldn't accomplish if you could harness pure will. ...The Saddest of Pandas

"it was pretty impressive for 'simple telepathy.'" Tanya replied with a childish smile. Magic had always fascinated her, even if it was a little risky to play with, if you didn't know what you were doing.

Some Might Say... "If you know how to move objects with your mind and have enough will, you can move liquids." He answered, "But I suppose I forget myself. My years of exile seem to have made me vain." He sighed slightly, not having looked her in the eyes since he picked up the flower. ...The Saddest of Pandas

Tanya walked the flower for a moment before asking another question. "What else can you do with your telepathy?" she asked, glancing at him.

Some Might Say... "Most of the rest is mental." HE answered. "Ming reading, hypnotism, mind control, and a few, more aggressive techniques." He sighed, most of it were things that most wouldn't want demonstrated. Although Mind reading could earn him some coin as a seer. "I can do this, though..." He looked at the water again and a sphere of it rose, forming into the vampiress' shape. Focusing slightly more, he compressed the water into and ice sculpture and floated it over to her. ...The Saddest of Pandas

"Cool," Tanya commented watching the water shape and then freeze. She looked like a kid with an excited smile on her face. The magic was commanding her attention.

Some Might Say... ONsphalt smiled, happy to see that she was no longer bitter or depressed. "Now let's hear a laugh, shall we?" He asked, putting some of his good humor into her head subtly. It wasn't like he was doing anything terrible, just trying to get her to have a good time. It had been a while since he had spoken to anyone. And much longer since he had heard anyone's laugh but his own. To add to the humor of the situation, He began juggling water balls, letting himself miss one and have it splatter on the ground and the other two splash on his head, soaking his fur. ...The Saddest of Pandas

Tanya laughed, suddenly finding a lot of humor in the situation. It was as if she had obeyed his command to laugh. She suddenly clapped her hands over her mouth, surprised. She slowly lowered them. "Did you do something?" she asked, giggling.

Some Might Say... "Perhaps." He answered, but he allowed his smile to give himself away. "Does it displease you?" He asked, wondering if she didn't enjoy laughing or finding things funny. He had simply augmented the experience of one of his simplest of bard acts. It was another way he earned coin. He absently wondered why she hadn't asked what he was yet. Not many had seen one of his species. even he hadn't. But he assumed it was because she predicted he was something else, and left it as something of little consequence. ...The Saddest of Pandas

Tanya just shrugged off his apology. "You were just trying to help me feel better," she replied, her smile widening a bit. "I don't think I can hold a grudge because of that."

Some Might Say... "Fair enough." Onsphalt replied. He was glad that she couldn't. He did not want to alienate her so early in their acquaintance. "Would you have anything you wish to talk about or do?" He asked, curious. With his previous traveling partner, they had taken turns choosing places to go. It had been a while since he had recruited her, so he wasn't quite sure whether the vampire would want to travel with him. ...The Saddest of Pandas
