"I know I am." She smirked at Sable looking innocent the whole time. "I know its odd. I have met plenty of them and Basil is still the sweetest one. I don't understand it at all. He does not take after mother at ALL." She smiled over at Basil he really did not take after their mother and she never really got to know their father. "Yep with Z, Phe was there when it happened. I was amazed anyone would like Z to begin with. I mean it is Z after all. I know thats just how Phe is but its hard to keep track of her when she does things like that." Ali gave a sigh and stood up shaking herself off and sending dust flying everywhere.

"Hey Patch" Zarrin said with a little more than no enthusiasm. It wasnt that he wasnt happy to see the kit, he just didnt know him that well yet. "So you're the one who...crashed? i'm guessing." He noticed Patch's wing looking slightly mangled. He walked over to him and lightly touched it with his paw "Does it hurt?" he asked, slightly concerned.

["Hey, Z," Patch greeted him. "Yeah, that was me. I'm kinda new at flying." He blushed as he explained this, stretching both wings slightly. "Not much, no. I'm ok, really." He watched as Z touched his wing.

Patch resisted the strong urge to roll his eyes. He looked up at the other kit. "I might as well try to be polite," he thought to himself. "Hello," he said, his voice dry and lifeless in spite of his effort to be polite.

Z noticed Patch didnt flinch at all when he touched his wing, so it must have been ok. He suddenly heard a very taunting voice, sounded like Durion. 'Of course, he inherited a few of personality traits.' he thought to himself. Zarrin sighed and turned to see Durion of course, with the other 3 kits. He growled at his son. "Be nice to Patch D-mon, or perhaps you'll have to get used to time outs. Is that what you'd like?"
With his stuffed tiger, Kaliec trudged along with his siblings. It was around sunset, so he was happy he wouldnt have to deal with the sun much longer. He wasnt paying attention to the rest of the world, just singing another random song. "Yay for night, its really really fun. I dont have to deal anymore, with that icky sun!" Durion's yelling startled him and Kale dropped his stuffed tiger, which he had named Az, after the little green spider that was always following his daddy around. "D-monnnnnnnnnnn!!! you made me drop Az in the mud puddle!" He made sure to make his paws nice and muddy, went upto Durion, and pawed his face. "There, now you're pretty." Just because he was the youngest boy didnt mean he couldnt stand up to his brothers.

"But Daaaad... fine" he muttered. "sorry Patch" he laughed at his brother as he muddied his face.... "here baby bro, let me clean him for you" he gingerly picked up az and grabbed a leaf to finish cleaning him off. he then brought him back and placed him gently at his brothers feet

"That's better." Zarrin might be cold hearted and slightly evil, but he didnt want his son turning out the same way, though he knew eventually he would have no control over it. "Now why dont you guys go off and play, make friends with eachother."
Kaliec smiled at his brother "Yay!! Thanks Durion." He bounced over and licked his cheek. Then grabbed Az and went to talk to Patch. "Hi, i'm Kaliec. Let's be friends."

 Demi sighed as he strode along. The little kit Zephyr who had taken a very big liking to him was now curled up asleep on his back snuggled in between his wings. This must look odd to anyone else Demi was sure, a kitsune walking with an Akuma kit asleep on his back, and the kit looked nothing like him. Well there was not much he could do Zephyr had taken to following him around and when the kit had gotten tired and laid down almost falling asleep in the middle of the road if made Demi feel the slightest twinge of guilt and he had let the little one sleep on his back. He was amazed the little kit had successfully curled up between two lines of barbed wire, he did not think it was possible. His ears perked forward ever so slightly at the sound of voices. Sounded like Zarrin and maybe Ug... good his parents perhaps he could pawn Zeph back off on them? Padding along he broke through the bushes to find Z and Ug and there other kits and other people. He padded over to Z and stood beside him so as not to awaken Zephyr by sliding him around to much. "Z, get your kid will you. He keeps following me around EVERYWHERE I go!" Demi looked a little upset at this.  Zephyr gave a contented sigh and snuggled deeper into Demi's back. He was actually sleeping and comfortable, Zephyr never slept alone never ever. He faintly heard the voices of his siblings and his mother and father but he did not wake or even move.

Just as Patch had looked over at Durion to see how he felt about what Zarrin had said, he saw Kaliec walk up to him. "Ok, Kaliec. My name's Patch, just in case you didn't hear that earlier," he introduced himself, smiling kindly.
Just then, he heard Demi join the group, carrying Zephyr. He was about to greet them when Demi started talking, so he kept quiet, not wanting to interrupt. He settled for a nod and a smile at them instead.

Ungol let out a LOUD hearty laugh "apparently Zypher is taking a nap Demi... he's taken a liking to you... " she chuckled as the kit Dug in even deeper...

"Yep! i know. Sorry about my brother, he can be a butthole sometimes. Next time he messes with you, come to me and i'll beat him up for you." Kaliec bounced around playfully, making swatting motions. He noticed Demi and... Zeph? Yep, Zeph asleep on Demi's back. He suddenly wondered is Zephyr was magical and didnt get hurt by the sharp wire stuff on Demi, or maybe it wasnt sharp at all. He would test this theory out later.
Z took one look at Demi's exasperated face, then his eyes caught the sight of Zephyr asleep on his back, and busted out laughing. "Awwww but Demi! He really likes you, and you cant just throw him back on us, thats like taking candy from a baby, never a good idea." He snickered as Zeph got more comfortable on Demi. "I think babysitting my kit will be good for you. Try it out for a while. Then if it gets too annoying, you can just... give him over to Ug."

"It's ok, but thanks for the offer," Patch smiled, watching Kaliec bounce around and swat at the air. "I doubt I'll take him up on that offer, though," he thought to himself. After all, he was used to being called names because of his fur. Besides, Patch had never liked violence anyway. However, he knew how to take care of himself when he needed to, since he had been on his own for a while before meeting the others.
