One of the humans ran in their general direction and he glared at the demon Oni. The man looked like a demented version of a normal person. He just glared at them then yelled loudly. Within moments a mob of deranged people were charging.

Oni looked up. "Well, s**t." he said casually. A little too casually. The men where still a good ways out. He shouldered his rifle, and looked behind him at Rikku. "So, you wanna fight, or like Aphrodite and her husband, do you wanna run?" he asked, cocking the bolt on his rifle with a menacing click. He turned to look back at the charging mob. "Make the descision quick." he added, flipping up the rear sight and adjusting it to his prefered engagement distance: 100 meters.

"Well I suppose I can stay for a little while." She said smiling. "A fight is always something I like to stick around for." She stated as her hands started to glow with a holy light. "Besides... I am not going to run away like some defenseless child." She smiled. "Ready?" SHe asked getting into position.

Oni nodded, smiling. "My kind of woman. Let's kick some a**." he said. In his head, he watched the mob get closer. "150." he said, the distance the mob was away in meters. They got closer, and he counted off the meters as they closed in. "105. 104. 103. 102. 101..." he said...and fired. The first 4 shot salvo dropped a single of the men, and it seemed to enrage the others. He fired again, and again, dropping two others. "Now this should be good." he said with an evil grin.

Noticing a mob of people attacking what seemed to be a woman and Oni, Ipos revealed the railgun in his left hand. "These victims are mine and mine alone!" He shouted to the mob as his railgun began firing through the mob, killing anyone unlucky enough to get in the way of one of his bullets. " Oni, who is this woman you're with?!" He demanded.

Oni fired his last burst, dropping a final man. He tapped the magazine release, fumbling for a new clip inside his jacket. He heard some shouting over to his right. "Aw crap." he mumbled, smacking in a new magazine and cocking the rifle. "What the Hell do you want?" Oni shouted back, continuing to fire. Between his controlled rifle shots, and Ipos' stream of fire, the mob was wittled down to only a few, but they just kept coming. "And what the hell does it matter to you who she is?" he added, snapping down the rear sight.

Placing his blade into the ground, he looked in anger. "You do realize that if she is a human, she needs to be killed. And if she is a god, all the more reason!" He said as he aimed his railgun at her. "Either way, she dies!" He said to ihm as it began spinning, preparing to fire at the woman.

Oni stepped forward casually, ignoring the rotating minigun. As soon as he was in range, he casually kicked it away with his foot, and as soon as the demon finished the word 'dies', he planed the barrel of his rifle between the demon's ******** off." he said, pulling the trigger half-way. "Any more, and your brain splatters down the street for a good few meters. You hit me, the same effect." Oni said coldly. "As I said, ******** off. Safety on the minigun, first off. When I see it stop rotating, I will ask you to drop the blade. Remember, move, and your head is a Jackson Pollock painting." he added, dead serious.

As the barrel of the gun was forced into the demon's helmet (refer to the profile pic, please), Ipos simply took the barrel by his teeth and flung it off. "So, you are to betray your own kind?" he asked him. "Even worse, you're insulting the Dark Bison!" He said, swatting him back from his face, firing the minigun in the crater he had created with Oni's body.

Oni took the hit with barely a flinch, ducking under the minigun and standing behind him. "No. Not insulting. If I wanted to insult you, I would have called you a name, or something." Behind the demon's back, unseen, he winked at Rikku, nodding nearly imperceptibly at the Ipos' head. "And no. I do not betray our own kind. I betray our own kind that betray our own kind. For example, the foot soldiers that attacked me earlier. They betrayed other demons, namely, moi, so I fought back." He stretched, yawned, and continued. "I don't see why we have to kill humans, or gods for that matter." Oni said, walking in circles around Ipos, making sure to make a wide circuit around the still spinning minigun barrel. "I mean...I find them crunchy, and a little chewy. And not very apetizing, some of them." he continued, picking at a tooth for effect. "And the gods, the same, except with a little too much...good, I guess." he stopped in front of Ipos. "So, why not just enslave them? We have shown time after time that our race is superior." he continued his little circuit. As soon as he was behind Ipos, he winked, again hidden from view. He came to Ipos' side, then walked to Rikku. "Play along." he whispered in her ear as he passed, turning around behind her and pushing her down to her knees. "For example, how do you know that this person isn't my slave? In fact, she is. She was only aloud to fight because I was attacked. Logic, no?" Oni said, grinning evily. It looked evil, but he was faking it. Actually, part of it.

Rikku shot him a death glare. "I ought to punch you square in the face." She said calmly. "Pardon me for having some dignity... but I am no ones slave." SHe said with a disgust in her voice that made the words sound sour and wicked. She prevented herself from using her powers, that way he couldn't figure out if she was a goddess or a human. "Sorry but I won't lie unless I feel like there is severe threat."

Oni, in his mind, was throttling Rikku. Apparently, she didn't get the 'play along' message. He laughed, squatting down beside her. "Funny, eh? Humans have such odd quirks." he said to Ipos. "I said play along. What he is carrying is a minigun, almost 6000 rounds per minute. God or not, you would be shredded to pieces if he got pissed. I have a plan to get us out of here." he whispered into Rikku's ear, standing up straight. "Looks like I'm going to have to get better slaves...or at least discipline them better. Good talking to yah." Oni said, putting a hand on Rikku's shoulder and attempting to lead her away from the area.

Ipos jsut stared at the two, obviously not enjoying himself. "I see. Well, slave or not, I expect her dead by the end of the day. If I see her still drawing breath, I'll take the opportunity to kill her myself." He told him as he closed his minigun in his left arm, and placed his blade across his shoulder. "Humans are nothing more then parasites upon the world, and it is our job to punish them for doing so. Leaving them alive disrupts the natural balance. I'm going to find someone of more interest. I'll be watching you, Oni." He told him as he left, his armor clanking as he walked.

Rikku shot him another death glare. 'I have fought worse... and the demons I have fought used real weapons, not that gun bullshit' She thought folding her arms and not saying a word. She walked with him thoroughly pissed. "We will see who is dead at the end of the day.."

((sorry for my absence, I got my Xbox 360 back and have been trying too catch up with some of my friends. As well my football team is undefeated going into the playoffs so Coach is working us even more))
Altair turned the corner and raised his mace hand and took aim. He started muttering a incantation and what looked like red runed glowed on his Metal Arm, a few small holes opened up in it. The armored demon turned and saw Altair and brought it's spear up ready to throw it. Their was aloud bang as if half a dozen shotguns going off at once. The mace head fired off his arm trailing a lenght of chain. The mace head slammed into the armor coated demon and Sent it flying right out of the alleyway, it's entire chest had been smashed in and the alleyway was filled with smoke from the powder and erritated Altair's eyes as he started too cough. His mace retracted and locked into place on his arm, the pillair of smoke rose in a cloud. As Altair walked out of the alleyway hacking, He looked up and saw a black cloaked demon looking at him. "What the F*** you looking at" He muttered.
Ira Looked at this human ,who had just sent one of his heavist solider's flying, with some interest. Or rather he was looking at the weapon, it appeared too be a mace, from what he could see, but most of it was hidden by the cloak. "tell me boy" Ira said, his voice was somewhere between talking and growling it with his words slight garggled but still easily enough to understand. " who are you" He said as he drew his sword with his right hand. As he did a slight breeze seemed too blow from the sword, moving Ira and Altair's cloaks slightly.
Dimitri heard a loud bang and looked seeing a cloud of smoke, he knew what that cloud was. "not good..." He muttered. He heard the clink of armor behind him and saw five demon's lightly armored and weilding axes, along with a hunter who had minimal armor and bore both a axe and a shortsword. He leaned over too his wife, "go too the smoke, I'll be right behind you" He said. From his work pouch he pulled out two heavy leather gloves, She would reconize these as the gloves he used in the forge. He put them on, pulled his hammer out and gripped it in a defensive stance.
