Alex paused a moment before taking Riku's hand. Her face was warm...not from anger but embarassment. She was hardly ever embarassed.

Riku pulled her up and then let her hand go once she was safe. He then glared at Kenji who waved his hands back and forth. "Know when I'm not wanted, time to find Deadpool." With that Kenji dashed off to find the insane man.

Alex stood there quietly a moment, looking off to the side a bit. "...just came to make sure you two didn't get into anything." she mumbled.

"And I'm a hero." she replied, crossing her arms and still looking away from him. "Usually when you take off mad like that, stuff tends to get damaged. Wanted to make sure you two didn't destroy anything." she said, though her tone wasn't very convincing. She was obviously a bit uncomfortable.

Alex studied his face a moment, trying to find any reason why she shouldn't belive him. He'd said he was going to be good before, but that still didn't stop him from trying to hurt Sapphire.
But...she couldn't find anything that said he was lying.
"....alright. I believe you." she replied, relaxing her stance quite a bit.

Riku only chuckled "I'm still destroying that Blood though but now to find it." he said as he turned around to look at her. "You tracked me, you can track it." He said as he uncrossed his arms.

Alex sighed and sat down herself. "You might have the time, but I don't have the energy." Really, she probably wasted more than she should have chasing after him.
