Up ahead of sorrow was a strange draft of wind, that was coming straight for her; as it advanced forward it gained width and soon swept her into its grasp. she soon found it wasnt a spiraling current, but it was blocking her path and as soon as she found a way around it it was gone, but she flew a bit further and found something even more powerful blocking her path; a barrier.
Akuma walked to the edge of the island and shouted, "Aww poor Sorrow, trapped like a canary in a cage." She walked the width of the edge where she stopped dead in front of Sorrow and smiled, "Up for a challenge?"

Akuma's eyes set ablaze, "If you can stay conscious in a fight with me for twenty minutes, i'll let you satisfy your petty lust to be with my father."
Kaos came over and was looking rather confused, "Akuma... what's going on... and what brings you to Enthelda Yuma?"

Sorrow looked at Akuma shaking her head; "We both know I wouldn't last, but..." Sorrow let her blades form in her hand; "I won't turn down the chance to try."
Sorrow looked at Kaos; "I came here to try and make up for what I said earlier, but that doesn't matter now since Akuma decides for you. I'm going to try, but it will end in goobye."
Sorrow looked at Akuma; "So you going to play with your invisible boxes the entire time, or you going to get a blade out and fight me?"

Akuma gave Sorrow a sweet seductive smile and called in her blade, "Chrono would be so disappointed if I didn't practice; even if it is just for a while."
Kaos hissed, "Akuma, stop it. you can't prevent her from seeing me; even if she loses, because it is not your decision to make..."
Akuma swung the lower blade at her father, and if he hadn't took a step back and turned his head to the side he would have been dead.
"Well then. shall we dance?"

Sorrow launched forward one blade set in a defesive posture the other extending in a arc for Akuma's throat; "You dare put his life in danger to satisfiy some sick plesure with me."

Akuma smiled and flash stepped behind , "Maybe..." when Sorrow was a good distance away she swung her blade so as to not cut her in half, but just nick her back and wings.

Sorrow spun around with a growl of pain, but a smile replaced it. Sorrow launched at her again, but keeping an eye on how akuma was standing as to predict her next move. Sorrow moved in short fast steps, one sword and her side and low the other in front mid level.
When she got close enough the mid level sword arched out to attack, and the lother began to come up for the lower body of her target.

Akuma waited for just the right moment when both arms were nearly level, then turned the blade away from sorrow and swung straight for the middle at a slight downward angle, catching her arms and possibly breaking one. though waiting for the proper angles ended up giving Akuma a nice gash on her left upper leg. she hissed from the pain, but then gave Sorrow little time to recover when she spun the blade back the other way.

The pain from her arm made her see spots, and she never even felt her arm let go of the sword. However she rolled to the right letting Akuma's swing clip some of her hair to join her fallen sword. She got back on her feet letting her broken useless arm hang at her side. "Not bad, bones will heal, and hair can be regrown." Sorrow wasted to much time talking, but she shot forward to keep the attack up. She had too much at stake to give her a break on anything since Akuma never cut slack any other time. She had no choice anymore, and it was possibly fatal.
She went in with her sword wide right at her side. Focusing her concentration she made the two step ups using what Kaos had taught her, and flipping over the top of akuma to land back to back. She put all her power in her waist to spin, hoping to cut Akuma in half.

Kaos shouted, "That's enough!" He flash stepped on the opposite side of Akuma and spun away from the attack; leaving Sorrows blade to slash right into his back. he pushed Akuma away and fell forward. blood spilled out of his wound, but as his power pulsed around him the wound began to close up, "I won't allow this to continue. i am here for three fricken days and you two can fight all you want when i am dead again. for now Yuma will stay with me and you, little missy, will behave or i will make sure you regret every action when we get back to the Abyss."
Akuma growled at her father but stood up and vanished her scythe, "Fine, but i won't be talking to either of you."
Kaos shook his head and staggered to his feet, "Are you alright?" he brushed Yuma's arm and a numbing sensation filled it as the bone snapped back into alignment and began to heal.

Sorrow stood there for a few minutes after it happened. She didn't say anything but she dropped her sword, it took her a few seconds to process Koas's question, but something different came out. "I'm sorry, I couldn't stop it, i didn't mean to hurt you, please forgive me, i couldn't stop it..." She just buried her head in Koas's chest; "I knew I had no chance, but it was the difference between nothing and having you. Then part of the way through it all I was hoping to die, because that is how far I was willing to go to be with you Koas. I tried to, all i had to do was step one direction and it would have been all over. i just couldn't do it, i just couldn't go down so poorly, and live with it for all eternity. I'm such a coward, i can't even die to be with someone I love."
Sorrow noticed the blood on the ground since she was looking down, and her stomach turned, she pushed back sinking down to her knees to throw up, she wiped her mouth with her good hand. "Ugggh, i feel horrible." In a way sorrow got around to answering Kaos's question with her breakfast all over the ground now.
(back in Arynia)
(Lisa was clearing the table, and noticing she left the vial out she tossed it aside in a pile to be burned in the boilers. "Hmmm, i wonder if that stuff actually worked, if not that persons going to get a unhappy dragon in their shop. Truth potions, its a sad day when you need to spike your elder sisters tea just to get her express her true feelings. Oh well, she's been gone for awhile so i'd imagine she got it out to him in one way or another." She smiled and continued to box up the leftovers to be sent down to help feed the workers.)

Kaos helped Yuma to her feet and smiled, "Don't worry about me sweetheart i'll be fine, and i'm glad you didn't give up. even if you tried to give up i would have stopped it before you died." Kaos lifted her face to look at him, and wiped the corner of her mouth with his thumb, "Take it easy... gah... what am i saying, i'd better take it easy myself... you know what; let's just go get a damned hotel here and try to relax for a day, because i don't want to introduce myself to the VonMire's with a deep gash along my back." he picked Yuma up and began to walk away when he saw Akuma walking back at him, "Yes dear?"
She glared at him and hissed, "I didn't break her damned legs! And you of all people should know that you can't lift that much weight when you're that injured,"
Kaos smirked, "So are you saying she's too heavy for me?"
Akuma looked away and twitched, "Look, if you think i'm saying she a fat cow then, fine, take it that way, but if you seriously intend on carrying her... gah!" Akuma grabbed Sorrows and a small barrier cupped between her and Kaos's arms lifting her out of his arms. she wrapped a black psychic thread around the sphere that held sorrow and handed it to her father, "There, have a balloon." She walked away without another word.

Sorrow pointed at her sword that fell when she had her arm broken, it lifted and floated up to her returning to the ring that she put in her pocket, she did the same with the other she dropped not far from Kaos. "You really don't need to carry me, but if you think its best I'll be quiet." Sorrow didn't sound to convincing, but she really didn't want to upset him again either. "Are you mad at me for wanting to die?"

"No," Kaos sighed, "I'm not mad. In fact, i can see where you would want to, but i want you to know, that you only get to be here for so long... when you go to the Abyss, it's for eternity." he popped Akuma's barrier and caught Sorrow and set her on her feet, "So, do you want to get a hotel here, or return to Arynia?"
