Katara watched the sunset. As it fell below the hrizion, she felt cold, even though it was warm. She knew exactly what happened. The Old Dragoon was gone. Tears formed in her eyes, but they didn't come out. Picking up her pack, and swinging it's one strap over her head, letting it settle on her left shoulder, she walked to the road. Walking to the village slowly, she stopped in front of a store. Walking inside, she got a lantern, and a knife. Walking out, she sighed miserblly. Placing the knife on her hip in it's sheathed leather, she stared at the sign of which way to go. Giving up, she leaned against the pole of the sign. She swallowed, but it wasn't good enough and she slid down the pole, sobbing.

Gill stood there as the sun went down, not moving. He was pissed and upset at teh same time. He kicked a nearby tree ad ran. He ran out towards the mountians. Finally , growing tired, he sank to the ground sobbing with tears of anger and sadness and joy and every other emotion.

((Gaahhhhh!!! Sorry! I'll try.))
Katara finished crying her tears (for a while at least) when she heard anothers. It sounded like... Gill? Standing up, she walked all the road, and found him. Sitting next to him, she didn't say word. It was hard to talk now, after what happened.

Kiana had been walking for mabey twenty minutes when she felt something in her heart. She knew what it was...the old dragoon had died. Choking back tears, she continued down the road. It wasn't long before she found Gill and Katara sitting next to each other. Slowly walking over to them, she kneeled down beside Gill. "I know what you are feeling, we can all feel it, but he wouldn't want to see us in this state. The old dragoon would want us to be happy, as he always did. That is why he shared his stories with us, so that he could live on in us, the next generation of dragoons."

Enzeru was about to say something to Korrin when a Sharp pain in her heart hit her hard. No...it can't be. He can't be dead. She turned back and ran off in the direction of the dragoons house once more. Not even bothering to knock, she slammed open the door to his house and feel to her knees when she saw that he wasn't there. She slammed both her fists onto the ground, breaking the wood beneath them. "He's gone...He's really gone."

*When Enzeru dashes off I know right away that the old dragoon has gone. I turn on my heel and walk back to his humble home where I find Enzeru on her knees and the old man not even there. I stay leaning against the door frame, simply watching because I wouldn't know what to do or say.* 'Fight it.......fight it.......Aw who give a rat's........' *Another single tear slides out of my right eye this time. Although there is grief I feel a little warm knowing the old timer lived a full, meaningful life and is now at peace.* 'I still wonder what his name was......He never really did tell.....'

After a while, Enzeru stood up, silent tears falling from her eyes. "I can't beleive he's actually gone, and I didn't even say good-bye for the last time." Turning to leave, she saw Korrin at the door, a single tear in his eye. "Do you feel it too? The feeling in your heart that a part of you has just been ripped out?"

Darek pulled out his orb and looked at it intently. 'We need to get going. Come to the center of town.' He thought as if talking to them. Darek pulled out his sword and swung it around in complex slashes. He did this all the time when he was waiting for something to happen.

Gill sat up and rubbed at his eyes, removing all traces of weakness. "Its just......" His pocket suddenly grew warmer and he felt a voice in his head that he recognized as Dareks. He stood up. "C'mon..." he said offering his hands to the girls to help them up.

Grabbing Gill's hand and pulling herself up with his help, Katara stood. She didn't even wait for the others, as she heard Derak in her head. She grabbed her backpack and ran towards the center of town. She slowed enough to see Derak holding a sword and swinging it around. She stopped aruptly; this cause her feet to fly from under her. She landed on her butt. Falling back on her back, she gasped in pain before she started laughing loudly. "Wow!" She giggled, "How stupid am I?" She gasped for breath. She only laughed this loudly when she covered up the pain of anything. This case, the Old Dragoon's Death.

"Not as bad as you do. Out of all of us I'm pretty sure I was the most distant from him. But still every time I can here and saw his kind old face and to see him up and about warmed my heart. At one point I wanted to be like him when I get old, to have a full life and then pass it on to the next generation. He's just about the only good influence I've had in my life cause God knows my old man is by no means a role model." *I flick the tear off my face.* "Come on now, the others are probably in town and waiting already."

She slowly got to her feet, not wanting to accept the truth. "Did he say where we were suposed to meet at? If not then I the best place to start would be in the center of the village." She turned, walking past Korrin, tears still visible on her face.

((It's ok...mine aren't much better.))
Kiana sensed that something wasn't right with Gill. She understood that he was sad about the old dragoon and the seven of them having to leave, but she didn't want him to hold it in. She knew that it would only eat away at him if he didn't talk to someone, the same way it did with Enzeru.
