I'm rather amused that my character isn't the one bungling his chemistry project. I never did have a knack for that.
Anyhow, this is interesting stuff, Gendou. Well written too, but with you that almost goes without saying.

Grayed So there is specific purpose to the missing additive... surprised Maybe. Maybe he just thinks he has a system.

I should never read these before work.
I love the many layers to the same moment you present by providing the shifts in time. We know more and more progressively about Meghan, Doll, and the program before we begin to deal with their actions towards and against the new students.
Gendou is such a sad panda in this. I just want to cuddle his amorphous gooshiness.
As for the codename thing, *snerk* I can't tell if Rowan's fixation on it is an example of her complicated internal life (ah, the symbolism!), or just gendou placating my intense vanity.

I can't wait for more. Also, Mutants and Masterminds 2nd edition showed up in my mailbox yesterday, so if you're still interested, Gendou...

Everything's coming along very nicely, I'd say. I like the way people are being introduced and I'm looking forward to the profiles as they're completed. Amy RuffleFluff Wow... sweatdrop Remind me not to type out loud, whenever I have a geeked out moment again... Hot.

Ah, chemistry, something I know nothing about but always wanted to. Are there really things that turn colors and then turn back? Can they do that multiple times, and are they safe to have in a dorm room? That would be fun to have, and better than a lava lamp.
Only 5/8 survived their training! What stress, such a hard existance. You throw in constant reminders to the effect of the dangerous lifestyle these students will have, all while showing them having to deal with school, stressful enough, and malfunctioning powers. Don't they have enough to worry about? Poor kids, that's a hard life.
Everyone rejected their nicknames! Hehehe, funny. People choose bad nicknames, it makes sense that they want to be called by their talents, especially after being trained so well. It would be something to be very proud of if you lived.
Oooh, number one villian would be cool, but I'm just fond of Magneto. Number six would be neat as well. I like all of those descriptions, though. Which will it be? ::waits::

Hehehe, turning a large block of ferrous metal into a spray of shards is a mental image that I must steal co-opt. ninja
Also, I was almost certain that Amy was gonna be a metamorph, and would turn into a huge pink death-bunny. But teleportation is good too. 3nodding
Another set of amaxing chapters, Gendou.

Does there even have to be a big bad wolf for the newbies to go up against? Project Moebius seems to have been successful enough that anything the kids could handle would be well within the skill sets of the active members. If they do end up engaging in infiltration activities, I'd hope they start with something simple; but knowing the assorted generals and Dr. Pryce, I'll guess that won't happen.
I'm more curious as to whether they'll be working individually or as teams. Moebius seems to rely heavily on solo operations - could be a reason for the high fatality rates.
Meghan was being groomed for teaching? That is interesting.
And now we know what an Alchemy Beta can do. surprised

Gendou, I envy your ability to bounce back and forth in time. The flashbacks are expertly done. I had a little trouble keeping up with them at first, but now it feels just as natural as Amy's teleportation. heart
The pace of this is excellent. Between the layers of character backstory and introducing more than one generation of characters at a time, it's a lot of information to assimilate. It could feel exposition-heavy and slow, but it doesn't... not at ALL. Each chapter sucks me deeper and deeper into the story and it's my first thing in the morning to check and see if there's more up now. heart You're doing a fantastic job.
Again, feel the envy!!! crying heart
