Yesterday I went shopping at Mastels Health Foods for essential oils. I got both Lemon and Orange Oils. They both smell really nice, and a good change up from lavender.

I started knitting scarfs for my friends Christmas presents; I know it's early but I have a slew of exams coming up and I don't want to to all be last minute.
I'm also reasearching how to go about making them soap.

I'm also reasearching how to go about making them soap. If you figure it out, start it as soon as possible because the longer it cures, the more they'll appreciate it so if you cure it for two weeks or more it'll last for a very long time.

I enjoyed a beautiful autumn day repotting plants before I bring them in for winter---geraniums, begonias, gazanias, half a dozen hanging tropicals and a couple dozen herbs. Then enjoyed one of the rarest things of all here, a night when both the girls were home, homework done, no work----we cooked, did our nails, and watched the 5th season of Grey's Anatomy together. Wonderful! Saved one of the goats, who was stuck in a tree by her horns. Her goat friend was absolutely no help at all. Imagine that.

When I find my camera I'll post a pic of them! I have a few more ripped pairs of pants too. Right now I'm making a jean skirt out of one of them.

I just looked up how to make salt dough, so I can make decorations for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas with it whee Beats using store-bought clay.

We did that when we were kids! It was great, Mom wasn't afraid that we would eat it. We always had cedar trees for Christmas, though, and the ornaments were too heavy for the branches, so we ended up hanging them everywhere else.
Yesterday I got our new Great Pyrenees puppy, Falkor. How lucky to get him free! He will be a great guard for the goats. He looks like a stuffed bear, and he's sharp as a tack!

@ Vanilla: Thank you! He really was a surprise! We had a Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd mix for about 12 years, and Sam was a great dog. Falkor has the same walk. It really makes me smile.
