Frowning as she explained her plan, he covered his lips. "Ugh... You're so mean." Putting one of his feet on the opposite knee, he leaned against the top window pane and looked down at the snake that was still coiled up on the crate. Slipping his hand into a pocket, he pulled out a cell phone and began to play tetris. "Ahhhhhhhh, I like old games..." Kevin said, trying to change the subject.

"Yeah and your so not normal, have most boy's enjoyed being kissed. You'll have to work on this. " She smiled and admired the snake from a far, hissing through her teeth, she knew some tounges, harry potter used to be her favirote moive. She smiled and looked at him rolling her eye's. "What are you truly? And why are your eye's like that?" Maddy pulled his hand away from his lips and smiled leaning forward. "the truth is strongly advised."

Kevin glanced over at her as she tried to talk to the snake, she hadn't said anything. Suppresing a chuckle, he tried to look serious as she began to question him. Tensing slightly as she began, he sighed. it was going to be difficult to make a lie sound truthful. Shuddering as she leaned in, he let his land hang limply at his side, he knew that if he moved it Maddy would just grab it again. Thinking hard, he began to speak. "First of all, I am human, I might be special, but I am still human. There is no difference there. As to my eyes, well... Not even I know that..." Kevin had theories of course, but he was one of only a couple Hidden who's talent had actually physicakky changed there body.

Maddy leaned closer as her eye's narrowed. She sighed, inhaling deeply he smelled strange. She rolled her eye's. "Not what i ment, Kevin we've clairified your human. But your speical, in many ways. " She sighed thinking of the right work. Touching his cold skin, she pulled down his lower lip and looked at his teeth. "your skins cold, yet your not a vampire, is that why you wince when I touch you?" She cocked her head to the side and let go.

Edona froze when she heard what the boy said. He could read mind? Could he be one of the hidden hunters? A siren started screaming in her head, Beware! Hunter! Beware! Hunter! Edona's eyes widened in fear. She slappped her hand on his, and yanked it off her shoulder. She immediately bent the light around her, rendering herself invisible, and jumped away from the bench. She backed away slowly, as she whispered in a frightened voice, "Who are you? What do you want?" After a few more steps, her back touched the swing set frame. Edona stood still, and fell silent. She kept her eyes trained on the boy, prepared to run away if he decided to try anything funny.

Lu jumped up as well thinking that she had fallen or fainted before he realized that she had disappeared. He put a finger to his lips and made a shooshing sound not wanting to attracted attention. When he heard her voice he spun around to see nothing. He faced the swing set and stepped towards it slowly. "My name is Lucifer,” he started taking another step. He talked in hushed tones and moved as if threw syrup. "And I just want to know how to survive with out the shadows." he scanned the swing set never stopping his gaze. "I am not a threat, I have no way to hurt you, I'm not what the hunters would call, an offensive player."

Kevin sighed as touched him, and grimaced slightly. Maddy's skin was almost burning to him. "Ugh.." Then he chuckled, pulling away as she touched his lips. "No... I'm not a vampire. Yes, that is why I try to get away, your skin is burning to me. It's almost painful." Glad that she had not asked a question that he couldn't answer, he decided to wait for the next one. Leaning on the side of the window, he shut his eyes. I hope the snake doesn't hate me when I get back.... We must discuss a name for him...

Maddy sighed and leaned back, covering her hands with gloves. She smiled and reached forward touching his face gently. "Can you feel that?" She smiled slightly as she leaned forward so she didn't have to reach so far. "I can still feel your cold skin..It's almost like the gloved not even there..." [[writers block.]]

Kevin sighed as he watched Maddy put gloves on. "What are you- Oh..." He trailed off and shuddered as she layed her hands once again against his cheeks. Glaring at her as she leaned forward, and leaning away himself, kevin pulled her hand away and plced it on her lap. "You must be imagining it... My skin can't acyuall be that cold... Can it?" Feeling his face, his fingers brushed his cheeks, his skin, of course, felt competely normal to him.

Maddy slid of the gloves. "I take it you can still feel that. Sorry Kevin." She whisperd as she looked at her slightly blue finger tips. "Yes you really are that cold." She held her frozen hands infront of his face and sighed. Maddy opend the window and looked down at his snake. "I feel terrible for having you leave him there." Maddy wailed as she climbed down, grabbing his snake she gently set him in Kevin's lap before she dashed across the room and grabbed a blanket wrappping it around herself she sat down on the floor, staring up at him.

Kevin watched as Maddy placed the hissing snake in his lap. Glring at it for a moment, he warned it not to do anything rash... without using words. It coiled around his arm with its head on his shoulder. Stroking the snake with his opposite hand, Kevin looked up at Maddy. "Thank you." He said simply. Chuckling quietly as she wrapped up in the blanket, he sighed and looked out the window. "So... ummmmm, are you done with the questioning?" He asked with a hopeful smile.

Maddy rolled her eye's and thrtended to kiss him as she leaned forward. 'Quit laughign at me, you almost gave me flipping frost bite and just sitting near you makes me cold. No that does not give you an excusse to leave.." She smiled slightly and leaned back. "It means your freezing and I'm hot." She smiled lightly. "For tonight I guess..As for tomorrow...No."

[[Sorry for taking so long... I had to clean up the kitchen.... Spilled dishwasher detergent everywhere.]]
Kevin glanced up, a hopefull gleam in his eye. "So... you're done for the night? You're going to sleep and I have to leave?" He of course would never come back in the morning, if she let him go, she had lost what little chance she had at ever finding out about the hidden. that is, unless she went to the boy. Glancing at his watch, he grinned, it was very late. "So, ummmmm. I guess I should probably go... So you can get to sleep." He siad with a shadow of the grin thhat had come earlier.

Maddy slid the blanket off and clutched her knees to her chest.."Kevin," She whisperd. A tear rolled down her cheek. "I'd let you go and go to sleep, but I know you wont be here when I wake up, and I'd never get to know anything else about you.." She whisperd once more. "I can't blame you for wanting to leave, I'm not your friend and I'm probably annoying you.." Maddy sighed heavily, she looked sadly at the floor and opend her window. "If you want to go wich clearly you do, you can.." Maddy sighed again and kissed Kevin's cheek gently, she walked quietlyon her bed and a new tear rolled down her face.

Edona watched as Lucifer walked closer to her direction. He was standing very near in front of her now. Edona held her breath, afraid that he would feel the air exhaled from her nose. Yet, she dared not to move, for he might hear her steps. But standing this close, Edona could see the expression clearly on Lucifer's face. His tone was sincere enough, his eyes didn't seem to be saying otherwise. Edona's face softened. With a sigh, she released her hold on her power. She turned her eyes upwards, and looked into Lucifer's face. "Fine, I trust you. But about stepping out of the shadows, I am inexperienced myself. I am not much help to you."
