Marshmallow Kitty I don't have to worry about hurricanes where I live unless a hurricane swooped over to the very left area of the Gulf of Mexico, then swooped northward and was strong enough to survive all the way across Texas. XD ...I JINXED MYSELF, FLUX!  The storms are a'comin' this weekend...

According to a 'rent, by the time it'd get to us, it'd only be rain (and possibly wind). So I think I'll be fine.
I really hope the people down in Texas are okay. My Chem teacher's sister lives in Houston. D=

I hope that it won't hit my town too hard. I'm in San Antonio, Texas! I heard we'll get the tail end of Ike, which is still lots of rain and winds... I might even lose my power for a few days! D:

I'll hope you will be okay, Sue and Amelia. I heard the news this morning that Ike will be category 4 once it hits the inland.
