He dropped the lid. "I'm sorry, but I haven't eaten much all day. My stomach got the better of me." He looked at her with puppy eyes.

Tran swam towards the beach and walked over to the other dragon and nuzzled him a little "well then, best we start eating now then" she said, having had set up something else for him but meh, it can be left there, wasnt anything major, she opened the basket and pulled out a blanket and rolled it out, picking up the basket and placing it on top. She started pulling out an aray of different things, fingure sandwhiches, different slices, a plate of cookies and muffins, scones, coleslaw, potatoe salad, a large bowl of fruit salad, vegie kebabs, mini bacon and egg pies, mini qechies (sp), mini pizzas, plates, bowls, silverware, ice cream toppings, ice cream syrups and a couple of glasses.
"Right, we DO have ice cream but, unless you want it melted, we will be keeping it in the basket but, the last item is this" she said pulling out the large cheesecakse and placed it down on the blanket "lets keep that for desert shall we?" She said as she handed him a plate, placing spoons into the other foods if need be. "Your pick first" she said smiling at him, pulling two last things out of the basket, a large bottle of lemonade and a spare sheet of material to throw over the food so nothing landed on it "yes, all this fitted into one basket, the things you can do with magic" she said as she poured eac of them a glass of lemonade.

He watched everything come out of the basket with delight. "Oh it's delicious. Oh that's my favorite! Wonderful!" He smiled happily at seeing the cheesecake. He took a sip of the lemonade and started to put food on the plate. "Thank you so much! It's all so good!" He ate with gusto.

"Youre welcome" she said as she loaded her own plate with food, as piggish as it was, she was starving "and thank Ruth for that, I asked him what you liked, that little dragon comes in handy at times" she said joking about the 'at times' part of her comment, she liked Ruth, she meant him no disrespect or anything.

"So, what else is your favorite?" She asked curiously, picking up a fork and eating a bit of potato salad "I would ask you about your childhood and all that but I pretty much can guess that, most girls wouldnt hang around with half the lines you used" she teased him, putting the fork down and picking up a mini pizza and taking a bite out of it.

"Hmm. This potato salad is good. I was a very happy child. Ruth kept me busy. Ah I see. He knows most about me." He tilted his head and took some more food. "The lines are from Val...He uses them and they seem to work. I've never really been around women. Mostly teens and girls." He sipped his lemonade again.

"Thanks" she said at the compliment about the salad "and thats good you had a happy childhood, I did as well and it might of worked for him but that doesnt mean it would of worked for you" she said as she took another bite of her pizza and swollowed it "but then, you dont need them, your cute enough" she said blushing a little, turning her head back towards the food, wondering if there was somthing else to eat that wasnt on her plate and to hide the blush.

He blushed. "Thanks. I've never been called cute before." H also put down his plate and drank a bunch of lemonade. Maybe that would cool him off. He felt hot all of a sudden. "Ah! It's quite refreshing. Are you ready for dessert?" He smiled at her and readjusted his wings a bit.

"No, im not" she said taking a deep breath and looking back at him, hoping her blush had gone "you just want the cheesecake dont you?" She teased him "and I really dont know why you havent been called cute before, I mean, im just stating whats true" she said as she poured him another drink and finished off her own before pouring herself another.

"Hmm. No I don't want to eat too much and have no room for dessert. Well not from a pretty lady before." He blushes and drinks again. He twitched his wings a bit. "So umm how is your herd?"

"Hmm, a guy after my own heart" she said before blushing at the others comment and picked up her drink and finished it in one go, hoping, by now, the blush had subsided and put the glass down. "My...my herd? Their fine, or as fine as one can be given that we have the worlds worst herd leader, yours?" She asked the other, looking over the dessert food, it truely was startling to look alot more apitising then the savory foods.

He smiled and sipped his lemonade. "They are good. That bad huh. Ours is in a baby boom right now. Hey ever thought of having kids?" He swished his tail in the sand.

Not that I can blame him, I mean, baby dragons would be a welcomed addition to both our herds. XD))
"You obviously havent meet Raven or else you wouldnt ask if it was that bad" she giggled "and im glad their well" she said thinking about the other question and shook her head "no, I havent, or at least not really, I mean, I would like them one day sure but it has to be with the right guy, other then that, no, I havent thought much about them at all" she said as she ate another pizza.

"I see." He stood and stretched his wings a bit. "I'm gonna walk a bit ok. You can finish eating." He walked to the water and looked out on the beauty before him and sighed.
