"Sawhnds laihke ah plahn." Arch smiled, driving the bus down the road. It took a while to get to a city, but not long enough for either of them to fall asleep. Arch drove past a few different restraunts, glancing about. "Weh gahwt ah Tacoh Behl, ah Gohldehn Corrahl, ah Mickeh D's, ahn Venihce Ihn." Arch glanced back at her. "Fastfoohd, buffeht, ohr fahnceh laihke?"

Arch the Angel "Sawhnds laihke ah plahn." Arch smiled, driving the bus down the road. It took a while to get to a city, but not long enough for either of them to fall asleep. Arch drove past a few different restraunts, glancing about. "Weh gahwt ah Tacoh Behl, ah Gohldehn Corrahl, ah Mickeh D's, ahn Venihce Ihn." Arch glanced back at her. "Fastfoohd, buffeht, ohr fahnceh laihke?" Ruby got out of her chair and leaned over to get a good look out the window. "Well traditionaly I'd say fancy-like just for the fun of it." She glanced down at her traveling clothes and shrugged. "But I ain't dressed for it, an Gran would have a fit if she heard." She gave him a smile. "How about fast food, an' we make ourselves a right fancy picnic, in the bus, or out in some grassy field, an' watch the stars shine out as we eat?"

"Sawhnds ghuhd." Arch drove up to the Taco Bell, grunting as he realized the bus wouldn't fit in the drive-through. "Guess we goh ihn."

Ruby chuckled, "I don't mind movin'." She jumped down the steps of the bus, swinging in a twirl on the last jump. She nearly fell over for it, but it was worth it, as was evident by the wide smile on her face. "I'd race you to the door, but you'd cheat...an' I ain't about to give you another chance to get a win through cheatin'."

"Ah donna knohw whaht yehr tahlkihn 'bahwt." Arch said with a smile, quietly appearing in the shadows behind her, disappearing from where he stood. "Noh adeah."

Ruby jumped, startled at first, then she gave him a slight scowl. "That ain't nice you know." She sniffed, turning her chin up in the air as she turned around and started walking towards the entrance. She gave him the cold shoulder, but she added a slight swing to the movement of her hips as she walked, just in case he decided to watch.

Arch sighed, holding the door for her, noticing the hips, and enjoying the view.
They walked into the Taco Bell, which was very much empty. He walked up to the counter, scratching his chin. "What ahl yeh wahnt, dahlin?"

Ruby went to the counter with the straws and napkins and salt and plastic wrapped utensils and began making a collection. "Burrito supreme, sugar, with nachos and a root beer." She took a straw from her collection and opened one end, then blew the casing of the straw at Arch, the white paper shooting out at him like a javelin. "Any extra napkins for you, sug?"

"Yeh doh knowh yehr shootihn thihn's aht the blohke 'whohs baihihn yehr foohd." Arch said, turning to the person behind the counter, and relaying Ruby's order with his. He payed, then received the food, walking over to Ruby, and handing her her drink.

Ruby took the root beer, jabbing the straw through the top of the cup. "I do know." She took a sip of her drink, and grinned. She pulled out an extra straw from the stash of napkins, straws, and utensils she had decided to store in her bag. She twirled it in her hand a few times before handing it over to Arch like it was some sort of peace offering.
"So, are we gonna go find a nice beach an' lay out underneath the stars while we enjoy our gourmet meal? Or are you still worried about someone catchin' us an' us gettin' the usual mainland treatment?" Ruby gave him a slight twist of a grin, almost in challenge, as she moved toward the exit door.

Ruby glanced at him over her shoulder, "don't you like anythin'?" She turned her whole body around, walking backwards so she could talk to him while she walked. "Seriously, sug, when was the last time you actually enjoyed somethin'? Or got excited over somethin' silly? Sometimes Angel, I think you're closer to the heavenly blokes then you realize."
