That's not true! biggrin
A missing gene doesn't necessarily afflict the mind. It could make him have defective limbs, make his cells unable to produce certain things, or so on, but it doesn't have to affect the mind. :3
Retardation would be a very rare side effect of a missing gene. :3
And one cannot be allergic to changing hormones, or one would die on a daily basis. :3 Hormones constantly run through one's system, from adrenaline to testosterone. :3

PEGAHORSE PEGAHORSE.
Oh I know what happened! In this one episode of Robot Chicken, a Pegasus was stuck in a bear trap and some little girl comes along and sees it and the Pegasus asks for help. So she comes back with a huge pair of Tweazers and cuts off his wings and drugs him with oats. Then she paints him and callls him sunnymuffins. But let's just say my wings got cut off or the recessive gene thing xD
