Akio laughed. "Yes, I suppose. Are you any good at Charms? Could have done something silly like a confusion Charm." He smiled brightly. "I did that once. I was young...It was for a cat that I really wanted. Father and mother said no...so I did a memory charm. They changed their mind." He laughed quietly, taking a red strand from his hair and twirling it around his finger.

Akio frowned. "I'm sorry. I should have guessed. That's probably the best way to go. I could learn from you, couldn't I?" he smiled brilliantly.

"Ha, that's what makes you original I guess. Hey, if I ever altered myself for anyone, I'd probably shoot myself once I realized it. However, changing for the better, acquiring some morals would be good." AKio's teeth were white, his smile was...cute? No, never cute.

Akio laughed, "Well I suppose you're right. I might need some help with that." He paused, then giggled again. "I don't know, though. If I changed I wouldn't have much of a personality." He bit his lip. "Sometimes changing for the better can change someone for the worst."

Shrugging the long haired boy merely said, "Sometimes bad qualities make a persons personality." He smiled gently.

"Well....would you say that about yourself?" Thade asked, interested despite himself. When Akio's lips moved, it always seemed like he was singing.

Akio smiled somewhat sadly. "Unfortunately, yes. I don't have many good qualities that make me...Good. I suppose a Griffindor would say I was a 'Natural born Slytherin.'" he laughed bitterly.

Thade giggled and then was shocked. Giggled? He didn't giggle. Men didn't giggle. He stiffened his voice and readjusted his green and silver tie. "I'm sure you have plenty good qualities." He pretended to be distracted by his sleeve cuff.

"I dunno, I don't really know you," he said, almost disappointed that he couldn't say anything. But he caught himself in that emotion, and tried to block it out.

Akio smiled and looked up. "Ah, don't feel bad." he laughed, "The only thing I can think of is that I'm quite good looking," he laughed again. "I didn't want to sound too cocky, though." he thought for a moment. "I bet you have a lot."
