The human army guarding the city was twice as big but they would be no match for the the army of ghouls approaching. One soldier freaks out running back inside the city, "NO I DON'T WANT TO DIE!!!!!!!!" The commander of the city garrison commanded, "Fire the cannons at the approaching army, Infantry pull out your swords, and muskets get ready to fire!"

Kai looked back at some of the human men who had vollenteered to fight. They were the best fighters. They nodded back and ran off. Kai saw a second army. "Looks like you arer right Kanna." He said. "Aren't I always?" She joked. Kai said a spell that put up a barrier in the front of the city. He had more energy then before, so he was stronger.

Suddenly the sky went red and Sparda dropped out of the air near Leon. "I thought your ghouls needed some fire power as you call it, these marvelous new toys the humans made should blow a hole right through the wall of the city." Sparda revealed behind him ghouls with cannons. Sparda looked at the gate which had a force field around it. Sparda smiled, "Take care of them, I'm going to have a little talk with the King." Sparda steps into the shadows and turns into a swarm of bats flying into the city.

The doors to the throne room come to a crash, Sparda walks in. "Nice palace one problem you didn't have reliable guards, the King looks behind Sparda is a bunch of ghouls. "I rather not kill you right at the moment I want you to see your kingdom fall first." Sparda breaks the giant stain glass window.

Leon bowed as Sparda went by him. "Indeed milord. Now, canoneers, Fire!" He shouted as the ghouls fired the cannons which hit the barrier head on. Leon laughed uncontrollably. "Which will you choose? Attempt to endure the canon fire until the sun rises and all of us die or let the humans rot as a new age, a glorious age of vampires is ushered in. Where we can finally live in peace. Join us, it may not be too late for you to join us in our world conquest. We will make a new world. A world where there are no pathetic humans destroying this planet with their pitiful wars. Lord Sparda will lead us on to a better tomorrow, where we can live free of these pathetic humans. Why can't you see that?" Leon shouted to the vampires as he advanced closer to the city stopping a few feet from the barrier.

The human musketeers fired at the ghouls but they had no effect. The commander was worried, "Why won't they die!" One of the generals looked scared, "Because they ar...re already dead!" The commander laughs, "Well then arm yourselves with any weapon of legend able to kill a vampire, ghoul, werewolf, zombie whatever I don't care just kill them!"

Kai held the barrier. "And do you think he actually cares what happens to us? You are so blind....." Kai said. He was remembering something from his past. Sparda had actually taken him and Kanna after he had killed their parents, but they were hurt badly and they were left for dead. Kanna also remembered. She despised Sparda. She tightened her hold on her swords. Then she jumped out and attacked Leon.

Sparda watched on as the battle enraged. The king looked down at the battle and then unsheathed a dagger. Sparda smiled, "Try to kill me you can't." The king frowned and sheathed the dagger, "So who are you?" Sparda looks at the king, "I am the End of Humanity, The abomination of man, I am Sparda lord of the vampires and I have come back to end pathetic filth like you poisoning the planet."

Leon smiled and unsheathed his sword and brought it up to block the other vampires attack. "And what do you plan on doing? You cant possibly win against all of us. You don't even know lord Sparda do you? He WILL lead us to a better tomorrow." Leon said smiling as the two swords met in a clash of power.

"Retreat to the city close the gates!" One of the generals screamed. The commander looked at the battle from a tower, "Close the gates and hope the soldiers get in on time." The gates started closing, the commander looked down with sadness. "I will not let this city become a undead cesspool we will kill them off one by one, send a messenger to slip around the armies and ask for help from one of the Western kingdoms."

Kanna glared at Leon. Her swords hit his sword. He was a little more powerful then she thought, but it didn't matter. She pushed her two swords so that she pushed Leon back and attacked again. Kai was still holding up the barrier. He said a spell. It was the same spell he had used on Leon. Kai shot the huge black energy ball towards the ghouls. It completely insinerated hundreds of them.

Leon looked back at his army. "D***. Charge! The barrier will be weak right after he used that spell!" Leon shouted. The ghouls charged up towards the barrier more speedily then a human. Leon dodged to the side and shot a small fireball at Kanna.

Kanna dodged the fireballs. She took out a few of the ghouls that went past her as she charged to Leon. She refused to loose to him.
Kai saw the advancing army. He let down the barrier. "NOW!" He yelled. All the men who volunteered to fight, he and Kanna had turned them all into Vampires. They fought all the army.

Sparda laughs, "Your army is so pathetic king." Sparda looks at the king, "Your not in a state of power at the moment so sit down and enjoy the show."

Leon charged at Kanna. "Why do you continue to resist? We only mean well for the world. We only do what we must to assure peace for the entire race." Leon said angrily. He really didn't want to have to kill any other vampires but if they were against him he'd have to. He jumped up and swung his sword down at his opponent.
