Lythiaren serene38 That may have been how it used to be but if you look at his master list, which he hasn't updated with the new dragons yet, there is no neglected egg. http://dragcave.smeenet.org/min.php I found that egg recently, actually. Next time you run across one before it dies post it in the Emergency thread and let's see if it stays a neglected as it hatches into a hatchling. OK?

I did that with the egg in question, but it was too late and it died. :B Every time I encounter a sick, I post it in Emergency. I just haven't found one since the one whose image I saved. >.>;

Interesting, the eggs and hatchlings for the neglected dragons all have been abandoned a few times. I wonder if that plays a role in creating a neglect dragon.

If that's the case, it kind of stinks...cuz you can't adopt your own again and chances of "chain" abandoning probably aren't THAT common sad . I wonder if you can adopt one that's abandoned and been adopted then abandoned again...

When one of my hatchlings grow up, I'm gonna try my theory with some common eggs. (my theory: get a abondoned egg and get it sick. Then neglect it. I'll see how this turns out. I'm also going to try a double abondoned egg. ) I keep u updated with the results. wink

Ok... trying this today.
Here is the stats I started with. He hasn't been fed since he hatched and no it doesn't say he is sick
Egg Stolen on: Aug 19, 2008 Overall Views: 460 Unique Views: 220 Clicks: 9 Hatched on: Aug 26, 2008 Hatchling will die if it doesn't grow up in: 0.04 days.
Edit ~ Morning is not the time to try. Not enough people online. Little guy ran out of time and had to be frozen. Will try again at a latter date.

All 4 of my eggs are too healthy to start any experimenting, but all these theories are very interesting...I'll have to try some out with my next batch... I don't think a click ratio has anything to do with it because TJ has said that you don't need ANY clicks for a dragon to mature and such. My dragons usually don't have many clicks but quite a few views and unique views compared to clicks and they all turn out normal. http://dragcave.net/user/reliablefool Just so you can see some of my low click dragons.

Does the time time that it still has to grow up stop ?? Or doest in go on ...

well my idea didn't work it was that if you get a abondoned hatchling and have it hatch over seven days it would be neglected but i have another idea that if i do the same thing but have the egg start hatching and hatch on the same day
didn't work

It can still get it's wings as long as it still is getting clicks and views.

Does anyone know who the neglects' owners are. If we could find them, we might be able to find out how to make a neglect.

We're not supposed to share the secret. The moment the secret is shared, TJ will most likely pull all sicks. We are speculating and doing research, but spreading the findings = BAD.
