[[Ok no prob. Yea, I'm not sure either if there should be a cure or not. Or if Akiko should get bitten eventually. Part of me does though, the other doesn't If she does though, I have a good idea for reasons why.
Also, debating whether or not it's time for Slevin to die....]]
The vampires neared Akiko's neck. However, they didn't get far, Yugi threw them away from her. She backed away from all of them. She didn't raise her crossbow to any of them, she was really scared and shaking too much to aim. She first thought it was Slevin who pulled them away from her, but it wasn't. It was that vampire from before. She stayed against the wall- watching the fight. She'd only raise her weapon if one came close to her.
Atem followed him and engaged the other vampires that were near her. Akiko was his friend afterall- however, Yugi had more feelings for her.
Slevin made it to the scene and saw Akiko was ok. Seems her old friends came to save her. "Both of you! Look away!" he told them as he reached for something in his shirt. He waited until they did so, before he would pull out a cross to ward the others away.
Atem moved near Akiko- his back to her as if protecting her. He sheilded his eyes as told- figuring what he was about to pull out.
Akiko stayed still.
[[I'm thinking he's going to die really soon. Poor Slevin -_-, ]]

Yugi covered his eyes instantly.
Misarue nodded and relaxed completely before leaning her head on his shoulder absentmindedly, she then bolted up "u-um sorry..." she whispered shyly.
(nothing for seto.... he's just watching over her really ^^')

"Its alright if your tired go ahead," he said as he found he liked her being close. As the song went on he smiled it was interesting

Seto looked to see if she was asleep well enough before he slipped out the door silently.
Misarue blushed and scooted closed as she leaned her head back on his shoulder. she listened with him and it began to make her drowsy.

ONce the two of them covered their eyes, he pulled the cross out from his inner coat pocket and showed it to the other vampires. They hissed at the sight of the cross, some of their eyes began to smoke and burn. Two of the vampires died because they stared directly at it. One of them jumped up onto a building- the building that Ko was up against. The two others grew angry and lunged at Slevin. He fell to the ground and the cross was knocked away from him. It slid underneath some boxes- out of everyone's slight. Once that happened, the vampires were relentless on him. They weren't going to transform him, they were going to feast- sucking him dry and eating his skin. Slevin tried to fight them off, but he could only scream in pain.
Ko felt better when the cross was shown- though she didn't know why he tried to protect the two that saved her. Was it for the fact they saved her? However, her relaxed feeling disappeared when two of the vampires lunged at him and attack Slevin. "Nooooo!" she screamed in horror. She tried to dart toward him to try and save him.
Atem kept his eyes covered until he heard a scermish (sp?) occur. He looked slowly- making sure the cross wasn't there. It wasn't, but he saw Akiko's partner being maled at. Akiko ran past him, he tried to grab her so she wouldn't go near them- he missed. "Yugi!" he said getting his attention, he could reach her before she got close to them. Yugi had to get her.
[[I'm guessing it's turning into morning soon right? Once this little battle thing is done, we can switch to the next night when you guys are ready. This should almost be done]]

Yugi darted after Akiko and grabbed her gently "there's nothing we can do... he'll die either way." he whispered as he held her close and ignored her intoxicating scent.
(sounds good to me and poor dude that was so sad.)

"Noooo! Noooo!" she continued to scream. She couldn't get out of Yugi's grasp though she tried. She had dropped her weapon, she couldn't even shout at them. Streams of tears ran down her face- this couldn't be it. The one vampire, who made it's way to the building prowled about. As he walked on the edge of the building, a piece of debris broke off of the building. The vampire jumped back and went off into the night. As for the piece of debris, nobody heard it break off and it fell straight down. It was as big as someones fist. And unluckily for Ko, she was right under it. The piece of debris hit her in the head. She fell to the ground, knocked out.
Atem watched as the two feasted on the human. He was both sickened and hungry. True, these vampires were bottom feeders practically, and that's why he saw the scene as revolting. But, he could smell all that blood, and that hungered him. He growled at himself, he couldn't do anything for this person. Even though they fought one another, he must have been taking care of Akiko. Only when he heard a loud 'thud' did he return from his day dream. He spun his head around to see Akiko knocked out. "Damn," he said as he saw the piece that hit her. "We have to bring her with use. We can't leave her out here. And..... you can't lose her again," he said knowing how much he missed all of their friends. On that day, they thought she was either changed or worse, killed. But now that she's hear, it's as if she lost her memories. Atem could relate to such, he had lost his memories of his ancient egyptian past. "Come on, let's go," he said.
[[if everyone wants to fast forward, she'll be where ever Yugi and Atem are staying at and she'll wake up. When ever Misarue and Bakura are ready and done X3 ]]

(i think a FF is a good idea im stuck as to what to post lol so i shall start the next day/night what ever....we should have mokuba find the cross before the sunsets and take it back to Joey lol it will be a sad time for the santuary....)
Fae woke when she felt the sun on her face. She stretched and wondered what was going on with her last night. She took a deep breath it was possibly her last day as a human. She didn't know what she would be able to find in one day but any work would be better then no work. She got up and went and washed her face. She sighed and knocked on the door going to the hall.

Seto woke up and answered her door "ready to get to work?" he asked calmly. "or would you like breakfast first?" he wasn't exactly sure why he was being so nice but he was.
Yugi was with his Yami as he stood over Akiko, waiting for her to wake up.
Misarue had fallen asleep on Bakura's shoulder by accident. she woke up to see him staring at her "u-um.... sorry!" she said shyly as she sat up straight and looked away shyly.

"Its alright," he said as he felt that the sun was up. "we cannot go out just yet, We have to wait for the sun to set." he said not sure what they could do. He didn't have much in his appartment.
"Breakfast please," she said as she took a breath and wondered what today would be like. She didn't understand what was going on but she was sure she didn't want to be left alone not now. She really didn't want to research for him because she knew then she would only possibly be safe till and if the cure was found. That didn't even gauntee that she would be safe after tomorrow.

Atem sat on the chair next to his hikari as they waited for their friend to awaken. She hadn't moved since she was struck in the head the night before. At least they knew she was alive- they could sense her heart beat, beating blood through her veins. He grumbled and rubbed his head into his hands. This was horrible, he didn't know about Yugi, but he was starting to get hungry and having her there with them wasn't helping. He controled it though, he knew they would go off later and eat. They did drink from humans, like normal vampire behavior, but sometimes they would go to an abandoned blood bank or even drink from animals. Animals were the best, but it made them feel a bit better.
Little did they know, but as Akiko slept, her memories flooded back into her. The strike to her head rebrought her memories teh same way she had lost them. Her eyes finally shot open. She darted her eyes to Yugi and Atem. She remembered everything, she remembered them in her past, she remembered Slevin and that he was dead, she remembered everything. She sat up quickly and slightly away from them. Of coarse they were friends and they protected her, but they were still vampires. And as much as it pained her to think they would, she had to check if she was biten. She touched around her neck- checking for bite puncters. There were none. She sighed a bit in relief and loosened up. She then looked at the two of them with sorrowful eyes. "Guys....." she said mummbled but enough so they could hear. She was grieved by so many things at the moment: her friends were vampires, she almost tried to kill them, she's killed vampires who were once human, and.... Slevin was gone. Tears filled her eyes and she looked down a bit, "I'm sorry..... I didn't remember.... I didn't know who you guys were....." she said in a cracked voice.

(Joey seems like a better option since Mokuba is just a little kid ^^')
Yugi smiled and hugged her happily "It's ok as long as you remember us I'm happy." he smiled sweetly.
Joey walked down the street and saw something glimmering in a muddy water puddle and picked it up. he gasped as he saw that it was Faes' "oh crap!" he said in his usual accent and ran off to the sanctuary to tell everyone.
Misarue nodded "ok.. what do you do for fun during the day?" she asked curiously.

Akiko started to breath heavy as she couldn't hold back the tears. She put her hands to her eyes and tried to be as silent as she could as she wept. It wasn't silent though. It was also apartent since she was shaking so much. Her friend and love were both vampires, those who feasted on the very thing she was. How were Yugi and her supposed to be together now?
Atem looked down and turned his head away. He could not watch his friend cry. He walked away to let them be alone. He walked over to the window with drawn curtains. He could see the sun through it starting to settle. Night was among them once again.
