The Sandia Mountains used to be our view before we moved! They turn pink in the evening when the sun's about the go down, hence their name, which is Spanish for watermelon.

My view now is of these mountains, although I'm closer up to them and on those mesas at the base of them, and further from the Rio Grande shown here.

this is the little cottonwood canyon about 30 minutes from my house!!! and look!! *points* there........ is...... SNOWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!! lol
