Tyr frowned down at the stew before taking a bite and almost purring around the spoon, it was so warm and delicious. "I guess because... I don't really talk to people," She sighed after she removed the spoon from her mouth and swallowed, she took another bite happily, smiling now where she wans't really before. "This is a first for me."

"It's a first for me too" Zero said finishing the rest of the soup in his bowl. He sighed and kicked some dirt over th fire. He sat his bowl down next to him and looked at the ground. Zero watched Tyr from the corner of his eye again not sure what to think about her.

Nodding in agreement Tyr continued to slowly eat the stew, keeping her eyes concentrated on the ground. She was still uncomfortable, but not as uncomfortable, and she was still nervous, but not as nervous; one might say she was actually relaxing. The silence wasn't so bad, but it kind of left her feeling like she had done something wrong, so to remedy that she serched her brain for information, and then began talking again. "Um... I assume you're a hunter..." She said lightly, then rushed to explain. "The fresh meat and your skill with a knife," She said quickly, then hesitated. "You're good with your hands." Tyr added, blushing self-conciously.

User ImageAtamia was staring around the street, wondering how she could have gotten lost. She never got lost. It was practically against her religion to do so. "H-help?" She murmured. Then she said, "Dog, take us back home." But Dog wouldn't listen. She was sitting and smelling chickens and frightening away birds. "Dog," Atamia said louder. "Take us home." Her voice was firm, yet the dog apparently had a firm belief in staying still and being disobedient. Atamia grabbed her by the collar and dragged her away, with much whining and barking on the dog's part, and grumbling and storming on Atamia's part. "When I tell you to come, you stay. When I tell you to stay, you come. When I tell you to fetch, you bite. When I ask for help, you bite. What am I going to do with you? Does it not occur to you that we are lost in a crowd and it's getting dark?!" Atamia ended with a squeal of displeasure and fear. "Bad dog. Bad." Atamia tried not to show her fear, but her stomach was turning inside out. She had never gotten lost before. She knew she was supposed to stay put if she was separated, but what if she was on her own? And before she knew it, tears started to roll down her face underneath the curtain of hair. "What do I do? Take me home, dog."

Finally, the dog seemed to understand her hopelessness. It turned and bounded off on free spirit. The leash around it's neck just dragged Atamia along. Thank god the dog didn't slam into anyone, or let her do so. When they stood in front of the blacksmith, the dog said clearly, "Home."

Alfred stared at the strange man. "It doesn't matter. If no one can identify him, just throw him outside of the walls. We don't bury strangers." He sighed and went back to his chair, leaning back. "Please go, we must continue our session..."

Zero fiddled with a blade of grass. "You could say that. Though my father was better than me" he explained tearing the piece of grass up. He didn't really like baring his heart to people. He was starting to think that he said too much so he decided to remain quiet for now.

Frowning Tyr put the spoon back into her now empty bowl and fiddled nervously with it, shifting it around and watching the inside as if it could tell her what to say. 'I should really stop talking, everthing I say just upsets him.' She thought to herself, and with a sigh she decided to express at least part of that sentiment aloud. "I apologize, I really should leave... I just seem to keep making you upset..." She sighed in a low voice, standing up and still fiddling with the bowl nervously.

Zero blinked at Tyr. "I'm not upset it just seems so strange to talk to someone like this." He stared at the sky looking for some strange inspiration that would take this conversation in a different direction. He gave up on a divine intervention and let himself fall backwards to stare up at the sky.

Shifting around uncomfortably Tyr finally decided that he hadn't really dismissed her, so instead of leaving she set her bowl down and sunk slowly to the ground about an arms length or so away from him. "So... Zero..." She mumbled, frowning and not knowing what to say at all. Sighing she followed his gaze and then she smiled slightly, laying back as well. "See anything in the clouds?" She asked softly, hoping she didn't sound strange or weird.

Zero tilted his head to the side a little. "No nothing at all." he said not really wanting to let his imagination run wild and have it's way. "Do you see anything?" he turned the question around on her which was really the only conversation tactic he had in his arsenal to learn more about someone.

Tyr smiled slightly to herself and started looking at the clouds carefully. "Hmmmm...." She hummed, to let him know she wasn't ignoring him and she actually was thinking. The clouds were pretty abundant after all of that rain, so it should be pretty easy. "I see... a dragon, and a dog... it looks like there's a castle and a rabbit, some birds, a canoe..." She smiled rather micheviously suddenly. "Oh, and a giant man-eating hydra, of course."
PostPosted: Mon Aug 18, 2008 5:30 pm

Zero stared at Tyr in shock. "A... Giant..Man-eating Hydra? Where do you see that?" he asked averting his gaze back to the sky. He didn't see any giant multiple headed dragon like beast. "Are you trying to be funny?" he asked looking back at her.

She couldn't help it, she just started giggling; she laughed pretty hard too, clutching her stomach and rocking slightly. "You... believed me?" She gasped, smiling through the laughter. "Oh man..." She sighed at last but continued chuckling every so often. Tyr turned her head to look at him, still smiling brightly, and then the chuckling stopped before it abruptly started again. "I'm sorry, was that OK?" She asked, truly worried about how her joke had come off but unable to stop giggling.

Zero scoffed and rolled his eyes. He should have known he left himself open for that one. "Yes Yes laugh at me while you have the chance. I will get you back for that one some day." he stated closing his eyes.

Smiling an actual genuine smile Tyr looked back up at the clouds and quickly came up with a witty reply. "I look forward to our lext lifetimes then to see what you've come up with." She surpressed a giggle and continued trying to pick shapes from the clouds.
