Raquel hadn't realized it, and she laughed. "Its gone full circle huh?" she smiled shaking he head, reaching out to touch his cheek gently. "We've come a long way..." her smile faded but her eyes just sparkled as she looked at him.
"...how long ago was that now?" She asked, thinking on it for a moment as she crawled up and closer to him, still sitting up so she could face him.

"Hm..." She laid back on her back, staring up at the ceiling. "I still find it so... amazing... that I of all people got so lucky..." She sighed though hesitated a moment before sitting herself up on an elbow.

"...Damian? ...Can I tell you somehting? But you have to promise not to laugh." She had this sweet but serious look on her face, kind of like a child telling a secret.

She scrunched up her nose before falling back onto her back. "I dont know... Its odd... but sometimes... I feel I was too lucky. Like... Yea any prostitute could have been in the same position at the same time at the same place sure... but would you have fallen in love with them?" She asked, raising an eyebrow as she glanced up to him.

"I cant answer that because you never know. But I do have this feeling..." She furrowed her brow. "Like I was drawn to that hotel. It was like a magnet. I thought it was because I knew I'd draw in good clients there, but it was different... like a deeper reason for leaving my apartment, and heading out at such a random hour and far from my actualy 'territoty'." She let that linger a moment, thinking some more.

"I really dont believe it was 'fate', because...well I just dont believe in all that jazz..." She nodded definately to herself. "But I do think that I ...somehow knew you'd be there. Like I was drawn to you because... well you are so perfect." She said it so simply, as if it were a well known fact.

Honestly, deep down, she felt it may have been a Amaranthine feeling. She could read the emotions Damian was radiating from so far away, because he was so perfect for her. He and her fit so well, her mind made her gravitate towards him. She needed to do more research on her species, but felt this was the only explanation.

Raquel found herself stroking his leg idly with one hand, before finally turning her head to kiss his calf. "Its funny how a string of events plays out..." She noted, though didn't know what to say. She couldn't say she was glad he had almost killed himself, but really, she wouldn't have ran into him then.
"...I love you." She pipped up after a moment, looking to him with slightly sad eyes.

Raquel couldn't help but giggle, though did manage to sigh rather comically as she sat herself up, jokingly begrudginly crawling up towards him. She kissed him gingerly, her lips fleeting and layful on his. "Ah- if you cant stand to have me a few feet away, how are you ever going to manage to be miles away love?" She asked, snuggling down into his hold as she smiled.

Raquel smirked a little, looking up at him. "Oh, I dont know dear... I'll probably be very busy with a few highly attractive foreign tutors...with accents! And...that fancy hair they've got!" She beamed up at him, not able to hold her sultry threat of other attractive men. It just made her laugh now.

"Hm, so those are my perks huh? Being engaged to you will mean Most men avoiding me in fear of your power..." She smirked, hugging his arm gently. "being in the medias eye more and more...which we still need to fix, since there are some things I'd really rather not have going around, if not for my sake, then for your reputation. Being engaged to a prostitute is enough of a mark against you... you dont need any more." She kissed his chin sweetly, thinking some more. "Oh! And I get to see you naked whenever I please!" She gave him a devilishly coy smile as she walked her fingers up his chest, taping his nose playfully.

Raquel smiled, biting her lips as she blushed bright red. "...Like now?" She asked, slipping her shirt strap down from her shoulder, though stopped a little. "Ah- I'm sorry... you must be exhausted though..." She Looked down at his knee. "And you need to keep that elevated..." She nodded firmly ,moving her straps back into place as she sat up a little.
