“I will be there in a short while”, she said and opened a portal of her own stepping through to a place she had not been to in over a decade. The halls were dark with only the flicker of the torches leading her way. He was the only person who could save her or kill her hopefully he was in a good mood. She stumbled into a room full of books and scrolls every were. In the center stood Rowan the alchemist who locked her in this world. He only shook his head at her and helped her to a seat. “I see you broke a rule” he said almost mockingly at her. Faye blurted tears streaming down her eyes “I only wanted to save the child is that wrong?” It seemed the alchemist was not expecting the tears. She was not the type of woman to cry and fear over death. With a sigh, he walked over to a pool of water and stared inside to see the past. What he saw shocked him this was the witch who traveled from world to world murdering people and she saved the life of an angel. He walked over and knelt before the dieing witch “I see you have not broken any rules and the mess you are trying to fix. I will go in your stead while you heal” he said placing his hand on her head a sudden calming feeling enwrapped her and the darkness of sleep enveloped her. Before the darkness swallowed her a note appeared in her hands with the words give to Cain. Rowan took the note and opened a portal to the demon world.

Francis felt the sudden pain of Lucifus and ran out of the room to his old friend. “Lucifus calm down” he yelled and practically threw himself at him. Burying his face into his back as he latched himself to him he yelled “your letting it control you didn’t you promise you would never let that happen?”

Lucifus didn't know what happened but with Francis, Cain and Kaname by his side he began to calm down and he drank blood from the hand in front of him.

He pushed Francis off his back, scared to look in his eyes for what he had done and reached for Cain. With one hand holding on to Cains clothes, he laid his head on his shoulder.

"I'm sorry... Ca-...brother...." After a while of thinking he spoke again. "I'm really sorry about hurting....Sorry Francis, but that dam demon kept messing with me, it wasn't me!"

Kaname was really happy when Lucifus started reverting back to his old self but felt a little bad for Mujou. She skipped to her body and started poking her.

Francis hugged him again tightening his grip “I know besides you wouldn’t hurt me” he smiled up at him. His broken wings began mending like his broken heart. His voice cracked as he began crying into his coat. He had not cried since his brother passed away and it felt calming.

“Well isn’t this a touchy moment” Rowan called from down the hall he saw no reason to stay since all has been fixed but he had a letter to deliver. His cloak fluttered behind him followed by the clink of all the charms and protection spells. His eyes traveled the entire group trying to guess which was Cain with a sigh he gave up and said “Cain come here your witch sends a letter” he said holding out a slip of silver paper.

Cain released an angry growl at the demonness words. "Excuse me stranger." He started to say as he looked away from the annoying useless essence of life that continued to slowly eat up his precious sister on the inside. "I am indeed the Count Cain but I'll have to see to you later. Please...if it really is important...then give it to Francis. He knows Faye almost even better then I." Looking away, Cain focused his gaze back to the demon at hand. "Correction...my demon...my aura is my own. What your tasting is only a mere cheap imitation of the real stuff." Smirking Cain slowly began to take small easy steps towards the creature. "You can take as much as you want...but I won't become weaker...In fact...it'll be the other way around. Because as you continue to use my power and aura...your body will slowly begin to die.You see...there's a reason why no one dares to touch my blood without permission...or absorb my dark energy...it's cursed...poison to the mind and body. Deadly to those not welcomed." Stopping a few feet away from Mujou's body, Cain with a look of utmost hatred, started to transform. Releasing the inner demon within.

"I accept your challenged" said the newly transformed Banished Prince of Sin with a cruel emotionless look upon his face. "Are you ready to die?"

Rowan shrugged his shoulders at the demons words “I will wait it is for you not the angel” he said as he leaned against the wall and watched the scene unfold. Apparently, there was a battle for power or a family dispute he thought to himself. Watching the demon change its form always interested him at times they looked as humans did but had the ability to change shape such as in alchemy from one object to another yet the same material. After seeing, the argument long enough he pushed himself from the wall and spoke his opinion “Enough this fighting is pointless. I understand fighting gets a lot of things accomplished but I have a better solution if you will hear it”

Mujou eyes twitched as she looked over to Kaname, "hehehe. Cute." she snapped her fingers as piece of tape covered her mouth, "Now you're cuter." she smiled as she looked back at cain.

“Well all I suggest is that I separate Mujou and It he said referring to the demon. In doing so would also bring back the bond that holds the two together. That way It wont have to deal with Mujou fighting it and she would be able to live her own life.” Rowan suggested simply. He was an alchemist and had the capabilities to perform them. He also believed that the third party that was used to join them should be given a chance at life.
