I just bought Grand Theft Auto IV yesterday. It's a pretty good game I have to say. It starts slow, but after about an hour, the game really picks up and doesn't let go. Well that's what I think anyway. If you guys ever get a PS3 or a 360 you should deffinately pick it up. The PS3 version has some lighting issues though.

You've never seen the appeal? Well...I understand the Godfather video game not appealing much to anyone. I've played it, and it wasn't that great. Bad controls, terrible plot, and crappy voice acting will kill a game as it did with the Godfather. The reason why I and so many others love GTA is because of the sheer freedom in the game. You are free to explore this gigantic city and do whatever you want. You're not bound by any linear progression, which is always a plus. It's so many games in one as well. You can go bowling, play pool, darts, racing, and you can do all of this with a buddy, if you have xbox live or PSN. This game let's you do things that you would never imagine doing in real life. Always wanted to steal a car and run from the cops? Well this game let's you do just that. Not to mention, GTA IV has one of the most jaw dropping story's in gaming history. If killing innocent people is not your thing, then you really don't have to. In fact, I actually don't kill that many people in the game. I just stick to getting rid of all of the criminals. Granted, you are a criminal yourself in the game, well not during the beginning, but later.

But everybody has their own unique tastes in games and everything else as well. My guess is that you like JRPG's? If not, then you're crazy, because those games are just as good. But what I was going to say is that some people don't find the appeal in those games either.

The "J" stands for Japanese. Japanese Role Playing Game (JRPG). Well, that's how most people I know refer to RPG's that come from Japan.

Lol. Yes, I know Final Fantasy freaking rules. It's one of the very best video game franchises in the world. My personal favorite was FFX. A lot of people would probably bash me for that because they think that Tidus is such a cry baby. Actually he's probably more realistic than any other FF hero. Isn't that how any normaly sane person would act if they were caught up in the same situation that he was.

I have to admit, I know FFVII seems to be the most cherished FF in the world. I, on the other hand, have not yet experienced the full story of that game. I played it once when I was pretty young, but back then, I cared nothing for turn based games, so I didn't finish it. I will play it some day, but only if they decide to remake it. They're remaking all the other FF games on PSP and DS so I don't see why they won't remake FFVII some time in the distant future.

I can't wait for FFXIII and Versus XIII as well as Dissdia FF to come out. I'm happy that FFXIII is coming out on the Xbox 360 so that more people can experience the game and I was even going to buy it on that console, but I think I'd rather experience it to it's fullest on the PS3. I know the PS3 version is going to look some what better, it'll only be on one disc and besides, Versus XIII is still exclusive to the PS3.

Anyways, like I said before, yes Final Fantasy does freaking rule! I also like Kingdom Hearts, but whatever.

Wow, this is the most I've had to say about one thing in this guild so far.

Yeah I've heard that as well. I've never played FFVI, or at least I don't think that I have, but the main antagonist looks like a joke. He' a clown, and I know, who's not afriad of clowns right? But from what I've heard, he's actually quite funny. I can't take a funny bad guy seriously though. You should see all of the vs threads they have with Sephiroth and Kefka, who is the main bad guy I'm talking about. It's almost embarrassing to read them. People go all out trying to defend why their favorite bad guy is the best.

Usually, when comparing these games with which FF is the very best, the fight normally comes down to 4 of them. FFVI, FFVII, FFVIII, and FFX. Like I said, my personaly favorite is X.

When it comes to bad guys with me, it's all about image. You have to look at least half way decent for me to like you as a bad guy. Kefka doesn't fit that image for me. I respect what he's done as an evil person, but he doesn't win in popularity for me. I like the way Sephiroth looks, even though I don't know jack about him, he get's my vote with his look and his cool looking katana. I respect your opinion as to why Kefka beats Sephiroth, but this just comes down to who looks and acts cooler for me. This is the very reason I hated Fat Buu.

Forgive me, but I haven't the slightest clue what yaoi means. What is it?
