She only lifted her eye brow not seeming amused in the smallest of bits. She titled her head slightly. "I refuse to call a man by a number even if it is his name. Unless you are no man at all and lack the need for a name?" Lovely to look at true but a little off in the mind no wonder he was a guard and he was hot then cold much to fast. Plus she still wasn't sure if his last remark was a insult to her.

Matachi laughed "Well My name is indeed Zero short for Zeroti" Matachi said nodding crossing his arms as he looked at her with his blue eyes "So how about we see who down the drinks the quickest." Matachi said smirking pulling her slowly into a trap

She smiled then as she lifted her drink. "Indeed i would but it is not to lady like to down a drink all at once, unless you are trying to get me drunk. In which case you will be saddly mistaken in that admit." She said with a lovely smile glad that he had not insulted her before so she favored him with her hand in greeting. "I am Alice.. I am in town for a couple of weeks maybe you could show me around sometime?"

Matachi nodded taking her hand shaking hers like he would in his country he was playing around as "Whats wrong with getting drunk makes the moving around alot better." Matachi said nodding with his accent

She laughed then. "and what kind of moveing around had you in mind..ahh" She spoke looking down to his hand when it went into her's. "Your married what a awful shame that is." She spoke with a smile as well.

Matachi acted a sad face then "Yeah...the last conflict we had kinda fixed that though." Matachi said in his odd voice before looking back at her "Just a reminder eh." Matachi said smirking "And I think you know which kind."

A smile played her lips then. A winning smile. Her hand went out placeing it on his arm another favor for him. "Unfortantely good sir a pretty face does not make all women swoon at your feet you know." Her hand fell away as her other finshed her drink off as she orderd another.

"Half of my family lives here. My grandfather is dieing soon, so i came into town to make sure his passin was comfortable as possiable." She said with a seeming air of honesty. She took a drink of her new cup then looked back to him. "I hear pay is good with the goverment now." She said seeming to make mindless chatter now.

Matachi looked at her "Im sorry to hear that." Matachi said laughing on the inside but showing no signs of that as he played along "You okay?" Matachi asked "And what do you mean by government pays good?" Matachi said "They pay crap, I know because I guard the queen herself sometimes."

She then laughed. "I will have to rembmer that. I have a young cusion who swears next year he will join the city guard and hopes to go up ranks towards guarding the castle itself. Young men with there dreams of nobility and all of that. Soon you are no small guard then?"

She gave a delighted smile. "We could see about that.." She said with a more allureing smile. "If that is your being serious?" She said with a smile this man was bad at picking up women maybe his lovely face was the reason he didn't have to try so hard.

"Or we could go to mind. Its upstairs, a lot closer." She said with a bright smile as she brought the cup back up to her lips. "Just as large to." She wonderd why a simiple guard would have a room in the castle to himself that made little since unless he was one of the Queen's pets. She couldn't blame the woman if he was.
