Muirghiel My friend's mom is Christian and had a certain feild near her farmhouse where she liked to pray, and there was a garter snake right near her. I chased it away for her. It was so cute, but it was too fast to catch. Garter snake.......Most awesome snake ever.....

No chou, they're not. They eat bugs, they're little, they're green, and they slither on the ground. Vipers are cooler, and boas are awesome.

Viper = venom = death.
Boa = crush you = death.
Garter snake = bites and coils but has no venom and can't crush you = still has life.
Therefore Garter snake = Awesome PET snake.
Your right about vipers being cooler. I wish I had one. But I don't like the fact that if you get bit your pretty much guaranteed to die if someone doesn't have anti-venom.
I hate Boas. My sister owned 2. One starved to death because IT DIDN'T WANT TO EAT!!!! How stupid is that? We took it to the vet and everything and the only thing wrong with the snake was an empty stomach. It wasn't sick. It was just STUPID!!!

You do realise that all snakes start out like that? And they all still slither on the ground.
((BTW I really like those black and white photos. very nice photography.))

Actually, not many snakes eat insects that I know of. And there are snakes that spend almost all of their time in treetop canopies.

My sister just got a snake. I think it is a Burmese Python. He is pretty cute. His name is Anton. She named him after the founder of the church of Satan. She thought the name would be fitting, him being a snake and all. This in no way means she is a satanist or anything.
