((Oy, Phil. I was strangling John (Robiroth) xd ))
I continue to whisper soothingly into Kamryn's ear as I pick her up and begin to carry her out of the dark hallway. The dim lightbulbs in the foyer aren't much of an improvement, but at least they're something.
I turned to face the group that had been in the darkened hallway with Kamryn and Todd. "That was almost Xavier," I declared. "He was on the brink of coming out. When he's that close, it's easiest for me to take over. But he puts up a good fight." I stared around at everyone.

((oops.....ah well. it's gone now))
Hurrying over to Kamryn and Monica. "Hey, it's okay." I began digging through my pack, finally finding my mini-lantern flashlight. Pulling it so it turned on in lantern mode I handed it to Kamryn. "Here. 360 degree light, over 72 battery life and nigh indestructible. Shut up Phil. He wasn't attacking us. Sorry Phil was screaming again." Squatting down. "Monica. You'll stay with her with her? I'm going to do a short map making expedition into the surrounding rooms."

"Sure...I'd love to." Roxy said emotionlessly, noticing him walking away as soon as he had finished speaking. She sat thinking to herself, why, why me, why am I the one who is always left..Alone...
Jacob slipped off his head phones.Jacob looked over at the crowd of people talking and bickering when he noticed Roxy sitting alone so he decided to join her. As he went over to her, he asked. "Hey, I know Matt just asked you to go with him but, since he went off I was wondering if you'd like to go with me?"
Roxy looked at him, a bit confused. "Well, I guess so...If Matt said that it was cool, because I am kinda going with him.." Roxy's cheeks turned crimson.
Jacob looked at her, and smiled lightly. "Okay then, I guess we'll just waite for him."

((I'm apologizing now because I will be switching between 1st and 3rd...don't know why just have been.))
I nodded to Kamryn and currently, Monica and headed back to Roxy and Jacob. "You guys want to head out now?" I reached into my bag and pulled out a small LED penlight. "If you see a light switch, hit it. We need more light in this place. I'm even starting to get creeped out. No molesting people Mary. Phil shut the ******** up. I can't hear anyone over your screaming." He turned his head to one side and then snapped it to the other as he spoke to the voices. "Damn it Mary I said no molesting." He was starting to get really annoyed with his voices.

Roxy stood up and nodded. "Yup. Okay lets go." She said starting to walk up the stairs.
Jacob stood up and just started to walk. "So why are those people fighting or bickering or whatever?" He asked Matt. "Just out of couriousity."
Roxy looked at them almost confused. Roxy answered anyway even though it was directed to Matt. "I think over ligt or something." She said shrugging as she continued.

My eyes were still clamped closed until I noticed we had stopped moving, I carfeully opened my eyes and looked around, it was dim, but it would have to suffice. "Does anyone have any hard metal tools on them?"

"It might be that but I think it's also because John said something derogatory about ladies and Todd's 3rd personality, Xavier came out and dealt punishment for it." I shrugged as they head out of the entry way. "Roxy you want to work on the map while Jacob and I explore each room?" Moving through the first doorway I slide my hand up the wall around the inside of the door frame, searching for a switch of any kind.

"Kamryn, why do you want a metal tool?" I asked cautiously. I was afraid I knew the answer, but I didn't want to leap to the conclusion of self-inflicted pain. After all, I barely knew this girl, and it certainly wasn't fair of me to pass judgement.

"Oh... right..." I felt foolish, but hey, it wasn't my fault. Todd's pessimisstic attitude was peeking through, and it wasn't helping matters any. "I think I have a nail-file somewhere," I said, patting myself down. Sure enough, there was something long, flat, and skinny in my pocket. I withdrew the nail-file and held it out to her. "I doubt this will help. I don't think there are any locks to pick."

"Umm sure." Roxy said as she took one of her art papers and a pemenant marker. She started to draw the hallway and the room they had just entered. She looked around kind of confused but just sighed and started to draw it.
"Weird....."Jacob said following Matt. "I don't really like this place...I'm getting a really bad vibe.." He relaxed a little bit as he noticed a lamp on the wall. He flicked the light on, brighting up the room. He noticed it was a bedroom of some sort.

Finding another wall lamp, I flicked it on. "Odd place. Haven't seen a bedroom this close to the front door before." I pressed my hands against the walls, trying to see if anything was weak. The walls seemed strong and the bed bouncy, as I jumped and bounced on it. Grinning like an idiot I stepped away from the bed then looked under it. Just a whole lot of dust bunnies.
