Why wouldn't you want to claim it? It happens to be sitting in first place currently, which is no suprise to me, actually. Unless... of course... it isn't yours...

Don't feel bad, Huey. It wasn't until I checked JUST now that I finally saw a vote for my own sprite. xD"

She could be trying to be modest. Or, she wants to keep the entries as unknown as she can, although everyone is already throwing around guesses as to who did what. Rei got no votes! I WIN! XD

It was Rei's second reason, actually. Anonymity is fun. x3

Hmm... So she prefers to be surrounded by an air of mystery. Haha, I like that. If my entry weren't so OBVIOUS, I would've remained anonymous as well. But alas, who else would make some evil looking Beserker?

Air of mystery? Nein. Merely, I prefer to keep myself and the other contestants anonymous, so as not to cast any bias towards or against any particular individuals.
If votes are swayed by friendship, in my opinion, they should be thrown out- they're not fair votes, see? :3
Hence why I refrain from confirming or denying any alleged identity tags that are thrown in my direction. :3

Uh huh. I guess you have a point. How else would Kyan get 4 votes? Hehehe... Bias is a powerful weapon not to be underestimated.

Well, the probably didn't vote for it just because it was Rath's. That may have influenced it, because Rathy is well-known throughout the guild for his spriting (for the most part). Just because you don't like a splice doesn't mean that everyone else won't. Hell, I'd have voted for any of them. The fact that I'm buds with Kurai made no difference, especially since I had accurate HUNCHES as to who did which. I didn't KNOW who did it, but I didn't care. Even after it's been revealed who did which, I still don't care. And even though I'm friends with a good few in the guild, mine still has no votes. Just because they know me doesn't mean they vote for me. So, it's REALLY rude of you to say that bias is how Rathy got his votes.

I actually thought that Kyan was Saturnos's, for a while, and I voted for it due to the skill that was shown in the creation of the sprite. I admired the workmanship that went into it, liked the end result, and thus voted for it.
However, even upon realizing whose sprite it was, I didn't even remotely consider the impossible notion of changing my vote.
It was just a, "Oh, it's his?" sort of situation. Not a, "Oh, because it's ____'s, I gotta vote for it!" scenario.
Again. I prefer anonymity not only for others' votes, but for my own, as well. I generally don't like knowing whose sprites are whose until the contest is over, no matter where it's being held.
If a person I truly disliked made a truly amazing sprite, I'd vote for it, whether I knew whose it was or not! It's not the person that matters, but the work they put out for a competition like this. :3

The reason why Nino tries to give anonymity to the people who enter these contests is because she doesn't want bias ruining the end vote, and neither do I. If I was a guild leader, started a contest, and decided to enter to see if I could win, I wouldn't want to gain the win just because members were trying to vote for the guild leader to be 'good' members or something. Bias can ruin people's opinions otherwise-awesome things. That said, at least keeping things anonymous when you do the original voting in the poll helps to neutralize that. Later on, when you figure out, it don't matter 'cause you've already voted!

Was that an insulting remark directed toward me, Saturnos? If people voted for me, just because it was me, then I would have won every single contest, including the very Fefga spriting contest that I hosted during the guildaversary. Furthermore, Kurai, Nino, and Huey would have received much more votes, since everybody knows which ones are theirs.
Besides, people wouldn't vote for me, just for knowing mine; they'd vote on a different one.
