Mahora stayed behind a second longer, crouching down to sniff the leopard. Finally, he gave the body a light shove, and was surprised at how light it was. He lifted the leopard's paw with his own, looking at the unusually sharp claws. The cheetah sighed, lifting himself off the ground and padding after Brindle. Once he found the others, he looked at them for a second. He motioned for Thela to follow as he walked past Brindle. He stopped beside her, his head beside her ear.
"It was an assassin Brindle. I've never seen such long claws, and he was much too light for his breed," he stated, in a voice so low only she could hear.
Then he sprinted off, slower than usual, so Thela could keep up. Mahora ignored the throbbing pain in his cheek, although he tasted his own blood as it dripped down into his mouth.

The rain had brought with it chilling winds; this, as well as the cold, fat rainddrops that shed from the darkened clouds above drove away all hopes of prey. Despite the forest's thick foliage, the nocturnal life had disappeared as if they, too, coud feel the electricity reining not only in the sky, but in the nearby Pride. THey had taken cover, and rightly so.
The Hunter, slipping away before the Choosing for a quick stroll through the ancient forest for some time for himself, had only caught a Muntjac deer, a foal - the mother had escaped through some large-leaved ferns, but the Hunter did not mind. He knew that by killing the child, he had let the mother escape to reproduce more foals, in turn allowing more prey for the Pride.
As he carried the carcass through the undergrowth towards the den sight, his long fangs and dark eyes glowed in the shadows. A flash of lightning briefly illuminated the sky, followed almost lazily by a crash of thunder, the forest floor was shed with a dappled light, showing a wild cat of medium-sized built. Clouded-like spots dotted his thick fur, his long tail lifted high into the air, and three long scars across his left muzzle glowed bright in the light, before the lightning was extinguished and all fell dark once more.
"Ominous warnings," Cirrocumo murmured almost inaudibly through the deer's pelt. His hackles bristled slightly; he had thought himself late for the Choosing, not that he was to attend, being a Subordinate in his Fraction, but with the pouring storm, perhaps the CHoosing had been postponed. These silent musings slipped through Cirro's mind as he drew nearer to the dens, the forest becoming noticebly thinner as he proceeded.

Kiros waited huddeld down in the pasture waiting for his pray. The antelope had no idea that Kiros was there. "This is odd though where is the rest of the herd?" Kiros thought to himself but this did not stop him from taking the kill. Kiros silently kript up on the unknowing creatur and within a few moment it had been tackled to the ground. Kiros was almost vicious in his kill but still had enough sense to back off when it was dead and thank the antelope for the meat. Seeing the clouds, Kiros took up the animal and begain to drag it slowly to the den. Thankfully he was not to far from it.

Thela nodded. At least with Brindle watching Calyn, the second wouldn't try to run away. Thela had sensed Calyn's discomfort, and had been about to say something. There was no need for that now.
Soon her second came, and after he whispered a few words to Brindle, they both took off for the den. Thela was grateful that he did not go at full speed; she could not keep up with him. But the pace they ran at was quick, and neither would be too tired to act once they arrived at the den.

As soon as the dens came into sight, Mahora slowed, shaking his whole body and sending water droplets flying. He turned to see if Thela was still behind him. After checking to make sure, he continued to pad silently back to the the den in which he knew Zephre was in. He peered inside, and turned to the lion.
"You wouldn't mind taking care of my cuts, would you," he asked in that same soft voice.
The pain was finally getting to him, his cheek numb.

Bianca's throats rumbled as Mahora walked right past her without any sort of asking for permission. She was annoyed withthe lack of respect she was getting during these times.
She continued to pace, smelling blood and multiple parties were drawing nearer. Bianca truely hoped Calyn didn't get hurt or cause trouble, but from the looks of it, it seemed her hopes were wasted.

Kiros continued to tug and pull the carcus till he arrived at the den. He looked around the den to see that people were turning up injured. "What happened?" Kiros thought to himself as he tugged the dead animal carcus further into the den. Blood was still in his mouth from the kill, which didn't bother him much but wished he could wash his mouth out with some water. Once further inside he layed the carcuss where he stopped and backed a few feet away.

[Oh, I'm sorry! I didn't know Bianca was there. But Mahora was kind of out of it, considering he's got a gaping wound on his cheek]

((Sorry, Kiros was kinda buisy dragging an animal but I can fix that))
Kiros walked up to Bianca after securing his kill. "Bianca, how come you are here all alone?" Kiros asked positioning him self to where he could see her but not have to follow her as she paced.
((I apologize I didn't have much to work with on that one so it's kinda short.))

Bianca continued to pace. "Calyn ran off... and there seems to have been an attack. Brindle and a few others went to the commotion and I am here, as a should be as the first line of defense to the den."
Bianca nodded out in the direction they were coming, "Now that your kill's blood isn't right in your mouth, you should be able to smell the blood too."
The air tasted as it did the night of Calyn's parents murder...
((Ooc: Thank you! ^-^ It just kind sucks when the only interaction you get is people walking past you. It making very interesting posts. XD))

Kiros rose his paw and wiped the last bit of blood off the front of his mouth. "Yes I do smell it now, I don't like it though it sends an uneasy feeling in me but this clouds and rain aren't helping either. About how long ago did they leave?" Kiros calmly almost onimously as his cat eyes darted from one edge of his vision to the other.
((Yea I know what you mean ))

(( *walks past* I mean... ))
Thela slowed as they reached the dens. She flinched as water droplets flew off Mahora. It was at that point she noticed her second's wound. She gave an almost inaudible growl. Hopefully they could hunt the tiger who did this down.
As Mahora went into the den, Thela stopped outside, where Bianca was, along with a hunter. She listened to their conversation, and then spoke.
"Yes. Calyn was attacked. They ran, though. Brindle pursued one- found dead." She paused, considering what other information was relevant. "Calyn was injured. Brindle is with her now. Mahora and I came back to inform the other outriders." Thela would do so shortly, but waited to see if Mahora would come with before she spread the news.

The Clouded Leopard was only fox lengths away from the den, now. Cirro stopped as he neared the nursery, his tawny-hued pelt dark and sodden, dripping wet from the downpour. He spotted a large white-furred cat stationed outside the den, talking in low voices with what seemed to be a black shadow and a golden haze, their voices low, hardly audible over the whispers of the stormy wind.
He dropped the carcass of the small deer at his feet and nodded a greeting directed at Bianca, Kiros and Thela, noticing the antelope at Kiros's paws - apparantly, Cirro wasn't the only one who had thought of feeding the Den-Watchers and the cubs. As he opened his mouth to ask permission to enter the den, a foul stench of feline blood rang through his senses, making him shiver. His rounded ears pricked up, catching the words of THela and his fellow hunter.

Kiros full attention was granted to Thela as she relayed the story. At the end of it Kiros rose to all fours. "Does Brindel and Calyn need any help from the rest of the hunters?" Kiros said as his eyes narrowed and nodding in acknowledgement of Cirro only glimpsing at his kill. His voice was calm though but also at the same time gave off a sense of alertness.
