Tryan stared back at her with an equally blank expression at first. Slowly, it turned to confusion, his head tilting slightly in a subconcious gesture. He should know who she was, but there was something not quite right about her. Like the irritating housecat that, once you open the door, takes 'forever' to decide if it really wants in or not, he sat there for several moments, trying to figure out what was different about Silver. He snapped out of it when she said his name, his ears pricking up, and then got up and entered, seeming not to noticce the threshold for once. A few paces inside, he paused and looked back at her, waiting for her to do something.

>>Silver closes the door then looks over at Tryan, who is staring at her. Part of her feels unnerved, but most of her is blank. There's silence for a few awkward moments<< I'll make some tea. >>She goes over to a small chest of drawers and pulls out two mugs and some tea. She goes over to her wash basin to pour out some cold water. Putting the tea and a little sugar in the cups she holds one between her hands. It takes longer than normal, but slowly steam rises from the cup. She hands the first one to Tryan before taking the second and sitting down with it. She sits on her bed, tucking her feet up under her. Once steam curls up from her cup she stares into it for a moment before taking a small sip. She burned her tongue<<

Tryan accepted the cup with hands that were somehow subtly different from before. Holding it as though he were cold and reveling in the warmth, at which he was, in fact, marveling, he shuffled slowly around so he was facing Silver still. Looking down at his tea, he carefully placed it on the floor and then laid down with the tip of his beak right up against the side of the cup. With his face only inches from his drink, and his limbs curled up under him almost like a cat ready to pounce, he watched the steam rise in fascination. A few moments later his furry-feathery tail was swishing back and forth idly, and then, with all his attention on his cup, he purred.

>>SilverFang watched Tryan, her eyes following the movement of his tail for a while before settling back on him. When she hears him purr a smile somehow finds it's way to her lips. It was nice that he was contented. She wished she could be. That stirred a number of emotions in her. Taking a hesitant sip from her tea she didn't move or comment. Though as the purring sound continued she wondered if she could pet Tryan<<

Tryan was so busy staring at his tea that he didn't notice Silver's attention on him. Slowly, the steam disappeared and with it his purring. He contiued to watch a few moments before lifting his head to look down into his cup again. Dipping his beak-like snout in it, he awkwardly tasted the tea, and began to purr again. It had been a long time since he'd had tea.

>>SilverFang seemed fascinated with the creature before her. But as she stared at him, an odd fear started to creep upon her, it started in her legs and slid up to her belly where it sat cold and hard, then it reached up to squeeze her throat and make her eyes go wide. Her body quaked as she looked at the creatures misshapen form. She couldn't explain her fear, she couldn't rationalize it. Just suddenly she felt that Tryan would do her harm. For a few terrifying moment she was consumed by it. Then Tryan started to purr again and the fear seemed to melt away leaving an awkward memory. Part of her was ashamed at her irrational fear, but mostly she was confused by it's sudden appearance and disappearance. She sat, dumb struck for a few moments before she focused in once again on Tryan, lapping at his tea and she finally found a voice, though it was soft and meek<< Tea's my favorite.

Tryan startled a little and looked up at her, confused by her tone as well as the language. He knew she was talking about the tea, and guessed it was something possitive she was saying, but didn't know the exact words. He blinked at her a couple times and then stood up. Carrying his cup and walking at the same time wasn't an option so much at this point, so he carefully pushed it with his nose as he approached her. Not quite managing a straight line, and after chasing his cup a little, he came up beside her, rather than right in front at her feet, and plopped back down to resume purring and 'sipping' his tea.

>>Silver watched as Tryan came closer, following his crooked path. She watches him set back down with his tea and start purring. Some time passes in silence as the two of them enjoy their tea before she hesitantly reaches down and starts to pet Tryan<<

Tryan jumped a little at the unexpected touch, but then carried on as if nothing had changed except to fluff his headfeathers a bit. In no time his eyes were drifting closed and he had begun to doze off.

>>It was kind of like petting a cat, though Silver had never had one. He was soft and pleasant to the touch. She continued to idly pet him even after he drifted off. Her thoughts wondered and she thought of how she had been neglecting her duties as Moon Child. Tomorrow she would go back to the village and try and act like nothing had happened. She had responsibilities and they had to be taken care of. It would also help take her mind off of things, she hoped. And where was she safer than surrounded by her people?<<

Tryan sat in his doorway, staring across the hall. He had been there since very early that morning, when the sun had just begun to rise, and he hadn't moved. All day. Occasionally he would twitch his tail, bring it around to curl in front of his feet, or perhaps swivel an ear in one direction or another. Once in a while he yawned, fluffed his feathers, but otherwise, he was about as stationary as stationary gets.
Behind him, his room looked just about exactly the same as it had the first time he'd entered it, except both his staff, and the one Ontaros had created for him, sat propped up against the wall.
Finally, hours later, he got up. Taking a step back into his room to give himself space, he spread his wings and gave them a good stretch, followed by just about everything else. When he was done, he gave himself a good shake, folded his wings, and meandered on out down the hall.

Tryan paced the hall lazily, stopping occasionally to sniff at something or inspect a door. Eventually, he returned to his room, but instead of sitting in the door, looking out, he sat himself down in the middle of the hall and stared in at the space he'd been occupying.
