(sorry when I was typing this it was really late and my internet was screwing up.)
Ya I've been ok'd to have my animal powers stuff when I get my shikai but I just want to know if what I was doing before they were restricted. All I wanted with the animal powers was that the muscles would boost my speed and strength slightly, and my senses would be enhanced, meaning that I would be able to smell someone were ever they were and be able to hear were they are at and also be able to see in complete darkness.
So all I want to know is if these small powers are out of the question and I wont be able to use them or if they are allowed to be used?

If you want to say that the ability to shunpo, the ability to detect hollows and so on comes from your animal powers, then that's fine, BUT you will still have to train for them at the appropriate times. Meaning you cannot use it to shunpo until you train with your Squad to shunpo, then you can say that the muscles in your legs allow you to move faster than normal.
That is the point.
saying that these powers come from your animal powers without training for those powers is illegal and banable. Using it to describe how you function and how that power operates AFTER you have gained that skill through normal roleplay is fine, but you better be ready to prove it if someone questions how you got that power.
Does everyone understand this now? That is the goal, to maintain the restrictions on the powers as defined in the rules. Animal powers are a roleplay convention ONLY.
