Anyel will accept any change of subject presented to him at this point. "Well, it appears to be fine oak."

Kite laughs, "I'm kidding. I don't know a thing about furniture. I'm a healer of Aunencera. The church sent me here on business. What about yourself?"

Anyel smiles briefly but truly in return. "Aunen-cera? I am only a traveler, passing through."

"Have you never heard of the dawn king?" Kite asks, though he doesn't sound strictly surprised.

"I am afraid I do not know much of the gods." Anyel doesn't sound at all regretful about this.

"The dawn king is the protector of new life and the giver of new beginnings. All may turn to him in times of need. He welcomes all. He..." Kite pauses, "I'm sorry. I tend to ramble on the subject."

"It is well for one who serves a god to speak so devoutly," Anyel says gravely, but doesn't ask Kite to continue.

Kite nods, "So religion is not a favorite subject of yours. What is?"
Bel hears heavy footfalls again before a knock sounds at his door.

Bel is still enjoying his bath, fully intending to get pruney before leaving this little luxury.
He is in the process of tying up his wet hair into a messy ponytail when he hears the knock.
"Come in!"

Lady Bethel steps into the room and says, "Kite is downstairs. He requests your presence if you're able."

"Oh, sure..."
Bel hunts around for a towel. Once he finds it he climbs out of the tub to dry off and dress.
He checks his gear before grabbing another bite from the lunch tray. He grins at Lady Bethel as he trots out, "Thanks for everything."
Be climbs down the stairs to the common room to see for himself who this Kite character was.

His gear is all there, minus one shortsword, and looking better than it has in years. Lady Behtel says an "of course" that is somewhat heartfelt and bows as he passes.
At this time of day the common room is quite crowded, but it is hard to miss the two men seated at a table by a window. One has his hood drawn up and sits with his back to Bel. The other Bel recognizes from his vision the night before.

Bel allows himself a momentary sigh over the short sword, but no more than that.
In the common room, Bel spots the instantly recognizable face of the boy who had appeared to him in a haze. He's pleased to see that his semi-conscious mind didn't exaggerate the boy's looks! He heads over to the table with a ready grin.
"Hi, uh...is one of you Kite?"
