"Considering that what I am doing concerns Melthin in part, of course I care," Kiae replied dryly, crossing her arms over her breasts and eying the woman. "What is it that is preying on your mind about Melthin? Has he said or done anything?" she asked, careful to keep her tone neutral. She sensed worry for Ethin and frowned slightly - had the man made some remark about the Warder? "Esole would not be his only worry if he tried to harm Ethin," she thought grimly, making a mental note to erect shielding wards around Ethin once she returned to her room.

Not really caring how Esole would react, Kiae wove light weaves of Air to steady the woman and hold her in place. She stepped close to the woman, her lips near her ear, so the words would only reach her. "If this concerns Ethin, he is my Warder as well. If this concerns Melthin, I consider him a dangerous threat to us all. Either way, you will speak to me of your problems if they have anything to do with one of those men, do you understand me?" she asked, her tone soft but dangerously calm, using a bit of of the Voice to get her point across.

Kiae's eyes narrowed dangerously at this insult and she tightened the weaves in response. "All right, your majesty, let's see what your Warder has to say of this behavior," she said coldly, dragging the woman after her through the room and up the stairs. People had enough sense to pretend they hadn't seen a thing between the two Aes Sedai, not wishing to be dragged into such a thing.

The Yellow slammed the door open in a fit of temper and thrust Esole through the door, Air still tightly binding the woman. "Say what you have to say to Ethin, but it will be in my presence," she informed her, using some authority as the man's Aes Sedai. She calmly wiped the spit off her face with the edge of her sleeve, making a slight noise of disgust. "Such behavior from an Aes Sedai. Not even the Black Ajah conduct themselves in such a manner," she said, her tone lacking any emotion.

Kiae raised her eyebrow at this remark, but the Bonds firmly in place. She did loosen them a bit, admitting they were a bit tight. "Melthin has definitely affected her behavior. I have never seen a Sister act so, even a Red," Kiae thought, deeply disturbed by the faint sense of emotions she could feel from Esole through Ethin.

Kiae sighed. "I'm highly insulted that you believe I cannot stand up to one measly little ex-Asha'men after all this, if that is indeed what you are referring to," she said innocently. Turning to Ethin, she shrugged. "I bound Esole because she tried to leave without telling me what the matter was. She was mumbling something about Melthin and I intend to get it out of her." She shook the woman slightly, frowning. "I also informed her you are my Warder, so anything dealing with you is indeed my concern. She needs to stop acting like a spoiled martyr and tell us if there is any danger," she said sternly.

Pausing for a moment, she returned her attention back to the fuming Esole. "Keep insulting me and not only will I tighten these Bonds, I will Shield you to protect myself," she informed her, her entire tone making it clear she was serious. "And I will only release you from the Shield once I break your Bond from Melthin, do you hear me? So behave and say what you came here to say."

"Oh, bloody hell. You're as stupid as you are foolish," Kiae sighed, releasing the woman. It seemed to be the only option at this point, but she glared at Ethin for not simply ordering Esole to tell them. "You're so worried for Ethin, but you can't even bend your pride and realize you're not the only one who might have an interest to save him. Oh yes, I can tell you care for him dearly," Kiae snorted, hoping to goad the woman into a temper tantrum - every other time the Green had revealed information, so Kiae had no reason to doubt she would this time. And the Yellow was severely angry, though she hid her temper much better than the childish Esole was.

Kiae stared calmly at Ethin, though inside she was seething with rage. Anyone who was a spy for the New Order would sense Esole immediately, and for what? A childish temper tantrum. "You will go after her and bring her back here. I don't care how," she ordered, her voice flat and dangerous. "And you will do it now before she gives me further cause to Shield her again," she continued, fully prepared to do so for everyone's safety, even Esole's. She hesitated a moment before a dangerous glint came to her eyes. "Whatever she tells you will come directly to me, do you understand? I will not tolerate hidden threats, especially from such an idiotic Green as that," she informed him, making it clear she was going to wait for him to return with the renegade Aes Sedai, and hunt them down if he did not.

Esole stopped beside a small blacksmith's shop to catch her breath. Aes Sedai were not trained to run. They had other people for that. But she had had no choice. Still panting, she picked up the bottom of her skirts and began running once more. Where she was going, she did not know. What she did know was that it was in the opposite direction of Ethin. She knew he would catch up to her eventually, especially if he took his horse, but she still had to try and get as far as possible.
