Pancake laughed as she watched Sadie n** Majestad's nose. Pancake stood patintly as she felt Amy clime into the saddle.
Amy stroked Spike's head and scratched him behind his ears before swinging herself into her saddle. Once she was in the saddle Ginger came trotting over. She and Spike licked Pancake's nose and wagged their tails.
Pancake snorted and nuzzled them back before swinging her head up, as Amy asked her to walk into the outdoor ring.
"Ya. Since we already got all are western tack on. I'm going to practice the barrels and roping. Viv? Min? Would you guys like to help me bring the cattle in later?" Amy asked her new friends.

"Sure," she said as she jumped up into the saddle, "And I'll come with you to do the barrels and roping."
Storm heard that they were going to do roping and barrels and he shook his mane and started to prance in place. Jasper walked over to Ginger and Spike and sniffed them both.
Min turned Storm in a circle to calm him down and then followed Pancake and Amy.

"Ok great! Viv? Would you like to come rope some cattle later with us? My dad will come with us. Where going to be gone for a week on cattle roping. You guys have to ask your parents though. We go once a year and the cattle should be great this year." Amy said as she waited for the girls in the ring.

Vivian smiled. "Sure! Oh, I'll do barrels and roping as well." She said smiling. She asked Majestad to walk with a light squeeze on his sides and he walked forward, following Pancake and Storm.
Majestad snorted and nickered, pleased to finally be doing some actual work.

Amy smiled. "Ok. Who wants to go first? Viv do you want to do western pleasure first for you?" Amy asked.
"You guys are going to have so much fun catching cattle. It's amazing!" Pancake whinnied happily and stomped her hoof.

Vivian smiled. "Nah, one of you can go first." She said, leaning back in her saddle and stretching. She remained in a laid-back position, resting her head on Majestad's back.
Majestad smiled. "I love cattle roping. I've only done it once or twice, but it sure brings a great thirll. I've never been on a week-long one, just a 2-day." He snorted and took weight off one leg as Vivian relaxed.

Pancake started to prance around in her steps hoping she will go first.
Amy smiled before pitting an mistovous smile on her face and grined. "But after i get to relax!" She said laughing as she watched Vivian lie down on Majestad. The sun was setting and was getting close to supper time.
She moved Pancake into a light trot to the starting line and then avanced her reins allowing Pancake to go full speed. She gently pulled to the left once and Pancake sped around the barrels with great ease not even having little trouble.

Vivian picked up her head off Majestad's rump and watched as Amy and Pancake ran the barrel course. When they finished, Vivian smiled. "Awsome job, Amy that was great." She then smiled mischeviously. "Your turn to relax." She said, laughing. She sat backup in the saddle and regained her composure. "I guess I''ll go now." She said gathering her reins. She trotted to the start and the let Majestad fly. They came to the first barrel and Vivian opened her left rein wide. Majestad sped around the barrels, taking each one at its due time. When they finished, Majestad's breathing was fast. Sprinting was something he was used to, but he was still tired from the gallop they had just finished. Vivian patted his neck and then laid back down on his back.
Majestad was trying to catch his breath, they had done alot of running today. He snorted and removed the weight from one leg, trying to relax. "Alright, no more running from me today." he said, sighing as his breath rate leveled off.

Amy laughed. "That was awesome, Viv!" Amy said smiling as she watched her lie down. "Your turn Min." Amy said lieing down on Pancake's back.
Pancake whinnied and nuzzled Majestad. "You did great." She said smoothly.

Vivian laughed. "Thanks!" She said, smiling. She stretched her arms, then relaxed them again, hanging down off Majestad's sides.
Majestad snorted and chuckled at his rider. He swung his head around and nuzzled her leg. He then turned back to Pancake. "Thank you, so did you." he said, smiling at her.

"Thanks. I'm so excited for the show coming up and going out to rope some cattle!!" Pancake whinnied stamping her hoof.
Amy laughed. She patted Pancake before she went back lieing down on her. "I could stay here all day and tan!" Amy joked smiling.

Majestad smiled. "Me too, I can't wait." He said, pawing at the ground lightly. He then stood quietly and took the weight off one hind leg, relaxing.
Vivian laughed. "Same here." She said, smiling.

She smiled and patted Storm's neck. "Okay then," she said, "Our turn." She led Storm to the starting line. She barely squeezed her legs to signal the stallion to go when he took off. Coming up to the first barrel, she pulled him into a left turn, the rest was easy going from there. She slid him to a stop beside the others.
Storm shook his head as he skidded to the stop, breathing hard. "That was great," he said, tossing his head.

Amy sat up to watch Min and Storm. "Nice job, Min. You two are great! The horses are tired and sweaty. Let's cool them out and then later i geuss we'll play the game." Amy said, smiling. Amy patted Pancake's swaety neck before grabbing a hold of her reins, and clicking her tounge.
Pancake whinnied and tossed her head moving into a walk. "It was great. I love barrel racing. Have you guys ever tried jumping? I have and it's loads of fun..but i like barrel racing and roping. Both are awesome." Pancake snorted.
