Nico gave a Kuraime a knowlegdeable grin. "Bring tou your shikia. Force the reiastu to rise up in you, and defeat the creature inside." Nico's voice now chimed with Kurogihen's voice. Sweet but with power and influence.

[*shrugs* it's part of her Arcane Queen plot, so I wasn't the only one fighting her...She just sorta kinda singled me out 'cause I hit her first ^^...and then I kinda taunted her...Kurai's arrogant! what can i say? ><]
"I'm trying," Kurai said, frustrated. "I spoke the release, didn't I? But nothing happened! The stupid rose petal's just glowing!"
To hell with it. Letting a feral growl rumble in her chest, Kurai darted forward in an attack. Fine. If her zanpaku-to wasn't cooperating, she'd beat its secret out in a fight.
And Nico and her quick temper presented the perfect opportunity.

Nico chuckle then gave a quick ignorant snarl. "Bring it out, attack me. Kill me." Nico Put her zanpactu-to in front of her and started out in a slow walk. She slowly gained speed, then blasted in a run towards Kuraime.
Nico slashed at Kuraime with a sort of graceful dance move. She planted her feet in the ground and twisted her back foot. She lifted up her front foot then slashed down at Kurai.

Kurai's arm blurred with speed. Twin chimes rang discordantly as she parried both of Nico's blows before slipping into her own counter. Using their locked blades as leverage, she aimed two rapid kicks at the side of Nico's head.
She seemed to slide easily into the air, savagely graceful and acrobatic. Her movements seemed effortlessly precise. It was her speed that gave her the advantage as she wasn't nearly as strong as Nico.

Nico grabbed Kuraime's foot and twisted it. She threw Kurai back and shunpoed behind Kuraime as she sailed threw the air. Nico lifted her zanpactu-to up, and when Kuraime was close enough, She struck down at Kuraime's head.

Kurai flew back under Nico's assault, but she took the torque of her senpai's counter and turned her fall into a barrel roll. She came out of the final twist with a cocky flourish and landed so lightly not a single mote of dust was raised.
She felt Nico shift, and she whirled around, inhumanly quick. Danger in the form of the cool timbre of metal sang in her head, and she twisted away from Nico's downard strike. Kurogihen whistled past her shoulder, tracing a thin cut down her arm.
Incensed by the coppery tang of blood, Kurai snarled and delivered a slash of her own directed at Nico's currently unguarded chest.

Nico smiled for a second and grabbed the blade as it zoomed towards her. "Your kidding, right?" Nico threw Kuraime and her blade infront of her.
"Tell me, do you think you will win? I am having trouble deciding." Good, Nico, good! Provoke her a little bit more, see her shikia, and report it to Rhia! Perfect!
((Don't worry you will make me bleed sometime in this fight XD))

"Yes." Kurai said, flashing that grin that made her lock exactly like Yoruichi. "I do,"
She darted forward again, lashing out a second time with her wakizashi, aiming for Nico's left shoulder. In mid-thrust, she flicked her wrist, releasing the short sword so that it spun sideways. She caught the blade deflty with her left hand and slashed diagonally downward across Nico's chest.
Here was another talent born of long years of very little to do. Kurai was ambidextrous, just as capable of wielding her sword with only her left hand as she was with her right.
And this was another reason for the sword's short length. Kurai was able to easily switch hands, thus incorporating elements of surpise into her attack. In one moment, the attack would appear to be aimed in one direction, while in another moment the true strike was centered elsewhere.

Nico jumped back in a back flip, and barely missed Kurai's attack.
Nico spun her own zanpactu-to in the air with a smile. "100 Panthers!" She called. Slowly bits of dust on the ground turned black and melted together. They began to form the Panthers snouts and bodies. Soon, all the panthers were complete, except for one. This one panther took more time because it was so huge, and when it finally formed it was as tall as Nico.
"Good evening Kurogihen," Nico whispered to the large panther. "Nico, why have you called me out?" Kurogihen asked with a lazy grin. "Student training." "Your commands?" Kurogihen asked.
Nico grinned with a small chuckle. "Kill her!" She yelled to all the panthers, including Kurogihen. The panthers sprung forward at Kuraime, and Kurogihen jumped over her panther subordinates and landed in front of Kuraime.

"Nice kitty..." Kurai teased with feigned bravado. She felt the sudden increase in pressure, felt the sheer weight of the animals' presence in her mind. And Kurogihen herself dwarfed the lot.
It was a fight she couldn't win, but that didn't mean she wouldn't try. Flourishing her blade, she pelted straight for Kurogihen and vaulted cleanly over the enormous panther spirit's head.
She slid along Kurogihen's sleek, dark back and sprang down, aiming still for Nico. Go for the source, she reasoned. If Nico lost concentration, perhaps the technique would collapse. Then again, perhaps not. It was a gamble.

Nico grinned as the other panthers jumped infront of her protecting her from Kuraime's strike. "Its not me you should attack," Nico wagged her finger as Kurogihen growled.
"Remember I am making Kurogihen go easy on you, one mistake and I can un-leash her power on you. Or maybe I should just go into bankia?" Nico teased.

"And I should be...what? Afraid of your jumped-up tomcat on steroids?" Kurai couldn't resist the jibe. Yes, it seemed like an absolutely terrible idea to provoke a being of this power, but then Kurai wasn't altogether a sensible person. Oh, there was not true seed of madness within her, but she was used to throwing herself recklessly at any obstacle. Pithy remarks were only half the fun.
She turned to face the giant panther, playing lazily with her sword, tossing it from hand to hand. Very slowly, very subtely, she shifted into a feral crouch, reversing her grip on her blade, holding it more like a dagger.
She snarled her own challenge at Kurogihen, the unnaturally threatening sound ripping from her throat. It didn't seem as though such a sound should be possible from so small a frame. But then, Kurai wasn't really normal.

Kurogihen pounced on Kuraime, putting her left claw in the air and pushing off with her right. She moved at an amazing speed towards Kuraime.
Kurogihen sliced at Kuraime's stomach as Nico slowly raised her reiastu to prepare for bankia.

Kurai moved just as Kurogihen did. She lept lightly over the extended claw, propelling herself towards Kurogihen's face. She faltered slightly as the spiritual pressure in the air skyrocketed. She knew Nico and Kurogihen were readying themselves for something powerful.
Still, she concentrated on her attack, moving blindingly quickly. As she neared Kurogihen's head, she slashed sideways, aiming for the enormous panther's eyes.

Kurogihen grinned. "You stupid child," Kurogihen mocked. She jumped onto the arm that sliced towards her. She jumped forward landing right behind Kurai.
"Try better next time," Kurogihen chuckled.
