(( rolleyes ))

Yuki ran after him. He wasn't using shunpo so she found no reason to waist the effort on her part either, she would catch up to him soon enough, he was too tired to run far. Besides, she kinda wanted to know where he ran off to so suddenly. He said he had to go, but where to? Her mind raced across all sorts of bad ideas and thoughts, that only served to fuel her anger. She clenched her teeth and put a little more speed down to catch up with him.

He stopped, rather poorly, at his stuff and began digging through the pack like it was his last hope for survival. Yuki slowed down to a trot and walked up to him, now that she saw his destination several more ideas ran through her head. A few of them something along the lines of 'I bet he has Maxi's new gun in there... '. And as she approached him she crossed her arms over her chest and looked down at him tapping her foot. As if wondering when her evil glare was going to bore holes in his head and Nagi just fall over, deader than a door nail.

Nagi, now panicking for he knew that she was leering down upon him, standing almost directly behind him. He continued digging through the usual notebooks and water bottles he usually carried before he noticed something that was in there that wasn't there before. It wasn't a very large item. From what Nagi could feel it was a box at the very bottom of his bag for some reason. Perhaps it was stashed so deep to lessen the chances of it falling out and getting lost. Either way, it was something, and that was better than nothing at this point.

Is this it?

"Yeah... you don't remember putting it in there because I did it while you slept."

You mean you used my body in my sleep?! Tenchi!

"Never mind that right now. It's the only thing that's going to save you now. Better give it to her!"

Right.

Very quickly, Nagi pulled the small box from its nesting place and turned on his knees. He didn't stand up nor did he raise his head at first. His hands were reached out in front of him with the small box resting on his palms- presenting it to her.

"I'm very sorry." he said quickly. "I didn't mean to forget... This is for you. Please accept it."

He didn't want it to sound so dramatically desperate but at that point he wasn't really paying attention to the way he sounded. It was at that moment when he raised his head to gaze up at her that his eyes no longer showed any fear for he had quite a lot of time to remember (while being chased) that day when they first met- When he ran into her and Yomiko, how she tried to speak to him when he was so shy, and the first time he remembered talking to a girl then topped it off with shun-poing into a tree. He was so shy and clumsy back then but Yuki had the patience to help him and then eventually fall in love with him.

"I do remember." he said, now assuming his usual friendly smile. With that, he opened the box with his thumb and suddenly gulped for he realized that he had no idea what was within it. He could have killed Tenchi at this moment.

Inside the box lay a single gold ring with a round cut ruby embedded in the center and the word "promise" engraved inside the band. This was something he had picked up a while ago but was so nervous in giving it to her that he somehow forced the idea out of his head all together. He could have thanked Tenchi for this but was willing to strangle him at the same time.

Nagi remained calm, figuring that there was no turning back now. It was now up to Yuki how this was going to turn out. All he could do is wait and anticipate this end.

To Yuki's surprise Nagi didn't turn around and start begging for his life, or simply fall over dead or perhaps something equally silly. Instead he presented her with a box, she recognized it as a ring box from her time on earth and her heart almost stopped. Her brain froze and all of her being was hooked on what he had to say, seeming to lack the ability to do otherwise. When she finally did manage to breath again, he opened the case to reveal the beautiful ruby and gold ring she could hardly believe it.

She accepted the box, breathlessly, the touch making her eyes wide with shock that she wasn't dreaming. Where did he get something so beautiful if he forgot?... Tenchi.... She sighed into a smile, it seemed against Tenchi's nature to not only help Nagi, but to do something for Yuki. He must really want them to be together. She put the ring on her finger, and admired it in the sunlight for a few moments.

"...It's beautiful...Thank you."

Letting out a sigh of relief, Nagi returned to his feet, proud of what he had just accomplished though his heart was still racing. His joy made him forget about the stinging red hand print still visible on his cheek and he smiled as he watched her place the ring on her finger. As expected, it seemed to accent her personalty- the red ruby glinting in the sunlight like the fire that burned inside her. He couldn't imagine anything more perfect.

All this time, he was mentally thanking the disgruntled angel that lived inside his head. If it wasn't for him, Nagi would have never gotten the courage to give it to her. It was also Tenchi that gave him the idea of a ring. He had said it represented something special and that it somehow created a bond between two people that loved each other. Unfortunately, he didn't bother to explain anything further, leaving Nagi to take the initiative and figure it out on his own.

"I'm glad." he said, blushing slightly as he continued to remember the deep meaning behind this particular gift. The word that had been etched inside the band was something he had done of his own accord. His next words might have sounded a bit cheesy to most but he spoke with sincerity, showing that he was serious. "I promise that no matter what happens, I will never leave your side."

Yuki continued to admire the ring's brilliance until Nagi stood up, she looked him streight in the eye and she saw that he meant every word he said. Although she knew he intended it for protection, she prefered to think it was at face value, and that they would be together. Smiling, she reached around her neck and undid the clasp of the necklace she was going to give him... Before he forgot. She only just now remembered it, it was a locket of silver, with a picture of the two of them together. She wasn't sure if he understood what a locket was, since he had never been to earth really, so she opened it for him to show him the picture.

"I came here to give this to you."

She closed the locket and wrapped her arms around his neck to fasten the locket into place.

Due to height difference, Nagi had to bend down a bit to examine the tiny picture within the small silver case. The glint from the sunlight blinded him slightly but there wasn't too much difficulty in deciphering who's faces were looking back at him. It took him a moment to realize that it was a photograph but how it was taken was somewhat of a mystery. Perhaps it was done covertly without his knowledge. Whoever the photographer was, he was quite cunning, considering there would be a great chance of Nagi being camera shy. Despite his interest in the image, he was extremely thankful of it. It was the perfect reference for the perfect memory that he was sure to never forget.

As Yuki had embraced him to clasp the small chain around his neck, he placed both arms lightly on her back and bent down slightly lower so that she wouldn't have to strain herself attempting to reach around him.
"Thank you very much." he grinned, his mouth next to her ear as he spoke in somewhat of a whisper.

Yuki held onto him for several moments after she was done, happy that Nagi was content to hold her as well. As he thanked her she sighed happily, it had taken her ages to get Robin to run around with a camera to get that damn photo. She was starting to think that all her work had been for nothing when he forgot about their anniversary.... She would have to remember to tell Tenchi to remind Nagi next time so this didn't happen again.

"Happy anniversary."

She whispered in his ear before giving him a kiss on the cheek. if it wasn't so awkward a position for kissing she would have tried for a real one.

Toon walked into the kidou grounds, looking around for a second before walking over near a tree. He put his staff and zanpakuto against the tree, leaning while still standing upwards. He knew there would be no need to grab them in a hurry, but always made sure that wherever he left them, that they would be accessible when needed. After that he walked out into the width of the tree's shade, sitting down crosslegged... swishing his tail back and forth as he waited.

(( So technically I'm not supposed to be here yet, but I'm going to treat this like a PRP for now. ))

:Suri came down to the training grounds, slightly surprised that her student had arrived before her, even from a different squad. He got points for dedication and eagerness, that was for sure. With swift steps, Suri arrived promptly in the tree's shade and stood at the edge, waiting for Toon to acknowledge her presence. It would hopefully be a quick training session for the day, with only one hado to teach. A lot of recent events had taxed Suri lately, and she found that her mental stability was deteriorating slightly.:

Rawtoon's left eye twitched, as he opened his mouth taking a breath as if he were about to get up. This was keenly used to show acknowledgement the presence of his teacher for this evening. He then used his tail to lean himself forward, and was then standing straight up as well as now turning to Suri.
"Good to see you, are you ready to begin?" he asked her in his low-modest tone...

In a...needlessly dramatic fashion, Nicholas D. Tenukage, 6th Seat of the 3rd Squad, Drinker of Hollow blood, stabber of little children and all round weirdo entered, the wind blowing his robes around in an strangely kick a** fashion as he walked up to Rawtoon, before turning to where Suri was in the tree shade.

"Bonjour?" He tried, grinning behind his Guy Fawkes mask and brimmed hat of DOOM. "Bonnn-jooour?"

Okay, so maybe French wasn't his thing.

"Is this where I'm meant to be for training...I got a message a little bit ago..."

((Kick a**. And let's not try to take a week to do this either!))

(( I agree))

"Salutations." Raw said, walking back over to the tree, leaning his back against it, making sure to smooth his fur to where it didn't get ruffled.
Now to await instructions, he thought to himself.

:Suri studied the actions of the shinigami, slightly bemused. Their personalities were strongly admonished back when she had been alive, but then again, times had changed by quite a lot. It had taken her so long to get to where she was, that too much time had been wasted hiding in the dark corners of Rukongai. There was no doubt that she had been missing out on all the quirks of the people who had been coming in for the past centuries.

"Well then, if you two want to come out of the shade and more into open space, we shall start," Suri instructed, backing into the open area far from the tree. "There is not point in needlessly destroying the life around here."

She then held up her palm, proceeding with the lesson. Skill allowed her to continue speaking as she demonstrated the next part. "I want both of you to create a reiatsu ball. This will require a fair amount of concentration. Yes, you both have some skills from the academy, but using hado number thirty-one from hado number nine is quite a jump. In this exercise, you will practice summoning the amount of reiatsu needed."

With a gradual diminishing, Suri's eyes turned from their hard, silver color to a warm shade of amber as her gaze focused on her palm. Shortly after, a ball of reiatsu appeared, roughly as wide as a tennis ball. It had a solid, wood brown rim, but the interior flickered with glazing autumnal colors, specks of red, orange, gold, and brown floating in the amber reiatsu, looking much like electrical liquid.:

(( Okay, I have some slightly strict requirements for teaching kidou. I want each post to be at least 6 lines in length, and no, you guys do not get to master the kidou in one post. You can get the reiatsu ball right away just to speed things up, but the kidou should take at least two tries. When you start using the kidou in RP, please remember to use the incantation for the first...five-ish times. Thanks! If you want to know why I have these rules, you can PM me. Short explanation - I believe in Captain Nagi's style of teaching. ))

Nicholas openly gawked. Okay, so maybe not so openly, thanks to his freaky Guy Fawkes mask that gave him the impression that he was constantly amused, but nonetheless he gawked.

"Question." He raised his hand immediately afterwards. "Do you have some kind of bloodline related, super magical awesome powered attack related to your eyes, or are they just naturally that awesome?"

Nicholas too began demonstrating his ability to talk and do at the same time, an ability gained from the fact that he never shut up, even in life or death situations, and began charging up a ball of crackling sky-blue reiatsu and let it grow to the same size as Suri's.

It wasn't particularly hard...afterall, he did have several shikai-related attacks based off the simple exercise of creating a ball of reiatsu...

Nicholas contemplated making more balls of reiatsu, just so he could start juggling...

"So, Rawtoon," he tried next in an attempt to distract himself. "Ever kill a guy with your tail?" The idea seemed to strangely appeal to Nicholas. "If not, wanna try on me?"

((Ladies and Gentlemen, you are now dealing with what is possibly the most insane and random character you'll ever face. Have fun))

Raw, who had already gotten up and was now standing next to Nicholas, just gave the shinigami a cold look.
"If you must know...yes." He replied to the man. He then concentrated on gathering his reiatsu in his hands. This sort of spirit manipulation wasn's his specialty at all.
He looked as Nicholas showed him up with his juggling routine, all he could do was silently curse in his head as he returned full-concentration on the light gathering slightly above his palm. It started out yellow, and then grew larger changing to orange. The bigger it grew, the deeper the color seemed to change. Raw thought long and hard, closing his eyes, trying to think of something that would help him. His mind wandered to his past, for nothing seemed to come to mind. He wasn't even sure if there was anything in his head to concentrate on that would assist this.
He remembered when he was young, as a child with a full body of hair. He ran through the woods with the wolves that took him in, but it was so moist and vegetated. He was not bred to live in the darkenss of trees and forest; that made him think of his real kind. The wolf people that he re-joined upon nearing adulthood. He relived the training he had undergone with them in the desert. The heat, all the countless days of sweating through his fur...
Raw's hands began to hurt, as he opened his eyes. A bright red ball the size of a basketball was now in his palms. Instantly realizing that it was his reiatsu ball, his eyes widened. Suddenly his hands slipped, and he lost control of the ball, seeing it begin to fall. But instead of dropping like a ball, it instantly exploded, throwing Raw back a couple feet.
