Jay didn't bound to quickly, mainly because the girl had shorter legs. He peered back at her. "Aww it's fair silly." he teased and started to change directions only to trip over his own paws taking a tumble and turning into a well....rolling Jay Jay ball, ending up landing in the lake. "Ack!" he yelped and landed on his back laughing at himself.
Asher rolled his eyes. He trotted over to the older male and mouthed at his tail tugging at it lightly. "I'm not mad, stop that." his blue eyes watched him intently, not missing anything...yet missing everything all at once. He still didn't understand why his body reacted the way it did to this audio. It annoyed him. "Bah..anyways." He shook his head and let the others tail go. "How are you." He murred seating himself beside the other.

Mikaela chased after Jamil as best as she possibly could with her short little legs to carry her. When he tripped and turned into a tumbling ball of fur she giggled and tried to catch the ball stopping at the edge of the water bouncing up and down at the waters edge. "Hey!" She whined, "no fair!"
Gareth shook his head and perked back up to his normal self. "I'm well. Been looking after the lil' fur ball over there though." He said with a chuckle indicating to the bouncing ball of fluff named Mikaela. "What about yourself, lil lord?" Gareth knew that Asher wasn't so little any more but he still was keen to the nickname he gave Asher and Jamil when they were younger.

Jamil sat up and shook himself off, water spraying every which direction. Grinning he rolled his bright magenta colored eyes. "Define fair little one~" He teased getting up and sloshing threw the water. Said ball reached out and with his jaws gently lifted her up and sat down in the shallows, keeping her above for the moment. "Would you like to learn how to swim?" He muttered muffled due to having fluff in his mouth.
Asher quirked brow at the others nickname. He was not apposed to it, merely it had been some time since he'd last heard it. Shaking his head, the blue eyed teen rolled his shoulders. As much as he felt confused...some where in the back of his mind, as he'd done as a child he kept a records of every time Gareth caused him mind to real. Now was no different. Shaking his head he sighed. "I have faired well." He said after a moment of serious consideration. "Jamil is an idiot, but well." His sharp gaze watched the other. "You?"

Mikaela squealed when she was suddenly picked up and brought out into the water. She started to flail a bit pawing at Jamil afraid of the water because she couldn't swim. Last time she tried didn't go so well and Gareth had to save her. When asked her if she wanted to learn how to swim, she stopped squirming and her eyes went bright with wonder. Squealing again for an entirely different reason now she said, "could I really? Could your really?" She then paused for a moment and then yelling really loud excitedly, "Gareth!!!!" Which came out more as a squeal then anything.
Gareth smiled at Asher and chuckled a bit. He was paying attention to his friend as well as keeping a close eye on Mikaela and Jamil. He looked a little worried when Jamil brought her out into the water remembering last time his ears flattened slightly. At Asher's question he turned back to the teen and looked into his blue eyes, hands fidgetting nervously in his lap. "I've been well as well lil' lord." He said and gave Asher another pet on his head absent mindedly. When Mikaela squealed his name his head shot up from the boys gaze and looked to where Jamil and Mikaela was getting up quicker then anyone would think he could move he dashed for the water thinking the worse. "Mikaela?" he called but relaxed a bit when he saw Jamil still had her.
Mikaela looked at Gareth with excited eyes. "Can JayJay teach me how to swim? Can he really?" She asked tail wagging excitedly. She really wanted to learn how to swim so she could play with her new friend, and Gareth too when he went swimming.
Gareth chuckled a sigh of relief, "if you really want him to Mickey." He said calling her by the pet name he had for her.

Jay blinked down at the little girl when she squeeled. He was use that from himself, not from some one else. Laughing he shifted so the water would just be to her chest and eased her into the water. "Mhmmm~ I'll teach ya how to swim lil one." He grinned, nosing at her softly. He peered up at Gareth, and promised he'd be careful. The two stayed in the shallows, Jamil just put a paw under her stomach and lifted her so she could get use to the motions of dog paddling. When he was certain she was safe he lowered her into the water to see how she fared.
Asher rose up when Gareth bolted. It surprised him how attached he'd apparently grown to the little girl. Or more accurately he was so loving of children. Ash barely tolerated Jay, let alone small children. Then again the cobalt blue eyed Asher, who felt ties to the darkness, and had had a split personality to begin with... had never tried either. He moved slowly after, watching with a considering look. Staring then at Jamil he wrinkled his nose. "If you get sick, its your a**." He said coolly sitting down at the waters edge, and gazing across the lake. His gaze in turn flickered to Gareth, watching the other once again, almost thoughtfully in fact.

Mikaela giggled and squealed as she had Jamil's help swimming, his paw under her belly. When he let go of her though she began to flail scared she wouldn't stay afloat. She squeal again when she realized she wasn't sinking and really was swimming. "Gareth! I can swim, I can swim!" she exclaimed happily. "Thanks Jay Jay!" She said swimming to the shallows where she could stand and pounced at her newest friend.
Gareth sat down next to Asher at the shore, fidgeting a bit as he watched Jamil teach Mikaela how to swim. He relaxed though when she was enjoying herself and swimming on her own. He then turned his gaze back at Asher, "they'll be fine lil lord. The water stays fairly comfortable even at night during the summer." He said petting him on the head again.
