'No rush remember?' she chuckled, feeling something strange. She didnt want him to go! But he had to. She moved over to her bed, and touched him on the shoulder lightly;
'You've forgotten something,' she said, her cheeks red but feeling a boldness. She hoped her calculation wasnt wrong - that he wouldnt hate her for what she was about to do. It was another experiment - and she did like those.

"I did?" Feles' ears went up then and he looked around. Papers... plushie... cloth scraps... what else was there? He blinked at her then, one ear falling to the side in confusion. "What did I forget?"

Hand on his arm, another hand gently ran fingers through the softness that was his hair. And she leaned in, pressing her lips softly on his cheek. She wasnt sure enough of herself to do more - and it was too soon after he had grown after all.
'That,' she said, moving back again.
'I wanted you to take that with you.'

Feles couldn't help the purr that came from his throat at the touch and at the light kiss. A soft flush infused his cheeks as he smiled and brought up one hand to touch the spot that her lips had brushed again. "I..." he started to say... not certain if he wanted to thank her, ask what that had been for, or what have you. Instead, he leaned in a bit, returning the gesture, his lips ghosting against her cheek as hers had done to him.

She grinned;
'Well I umm...' she bought a hand up, touching where he had kissed. It felt as if she could feel where his lips had touched. She found it slightly amusing that he actually purred, but she darent say anything.
'I guess - you should go now. We might be here all day..' she laughed a little.

"Sorry," he whispered, the smile still on his face as he backed away a step and gave her a clumsy bow. Normally he would have been far more graceful, but his mind had taken off to parts unknown... likely with parts of his body as well, because he wasn't quite certain just WHAT the hell was going on with some areas. "I'll... I'll bring these back to you as soon as I'm done."
That was incentive. The sooner he got them done, the sooner he could come back. For now, however, there was the matter of getting them transcribed... and finding clothes. He moved towards the door then, pausing in the alcove as he pulled it open. "Thank you for everything," he said, casting a glance to her once more before he slipped silently out into the hall and closed the door behind him.

 Feles leaned against his door as it closed behind him, letting out a soft sigh of breath and closing his eyes. Things were far different now... FAR different. In the span of a few seconds, his entire life had changed. He was still a bit wary of himself... his new height had led to him knocking into things that normally he wouldn't have. He had to be careful. He had to be careful of other things as well. Smoothing down the sheet that covered his waist wasn't as easy as it sounded... it seemed that parts of him were still lingering on the kiss that he could still feel burning against his cheek. Why had it affected him so? What was different now? "I am..." he whispered, looking down at his hands again and noting their size. He'd grown... and now things would never be like they were.

 Feles Things seem so different now. I'm taller, I'm gangly, and I think I hit my head on a shelf when I was gathering the pens and paper I'll need for this project. Aranea has asked me to help her, and I will be transcribing old notes so that they are much easier to read. For some reason, my eyesight is good enough that it's barely a strain at all. I want to do well... I want to impress her. For the life of me, I don't know why, but Aranea's approval means the world to me right now. I'm glad she was there when I grew... although I'm not quite certain how to take her reactions. Perhaps I can sort through this all later.

Aranea found herself once more outside Feles's chamber - one of these days, she vowed, she would find herself within. She listened, wrapping with her knuckles on the door, two hands holding securely onto the package. She had tied the velvet material with a cord, and she idly fiddled with the ends of the cord. There was no answer, and she sighed softly. But she had no time to linger, she knocked once more just in case, before depositing the package on the floor in front of the door. She stood, pressing the palm of one hand against the wood of the door, before turning and leaving.
When Feles opens the package he will find the 'Elegant Moon rapier';

Papers in hand, Feles smiled proudly. They were done! It had taken him most of the past days, and he had fallen asleep several times in his chair, with his head bowed forward on the desk. Still, it was worth it. The new copies of the notes were held carefully in his hands as he opened the door... ...and stopped dead. Laying in front of the door was a wrapped package, one that hadn't been there before. Immediately, he looked down the hall in either direction, wondering just when it had been put there. Had it been while he was asleep? It wouldn't be the first time he'd be accused of sleeping like the dead. Picking up the object, he noted the weight of it and brought it back inside. Laying the papers to one side, he set the package on the table, looking over it curiously before beginning to unwrap it. As the rapier came into view, the cat sucked in a breath in awe. It was... beautiful! The fact that it had come from Aranea made it all the more special to him. He didn't care that he had not a clue about weilding it... instead, his mind was immediately racing to try and think of someone who could teach him. He would make her proud of him... and would make certain that she never believed it was a waste to give to him. Someone would have to know how to teach weaponry, he just had to find them.

Aranea stood outside Feles' chamber door. She had knocked twice in quick succession, then went and sat down across the corridor, leaning against the stone wall and closing her eyes. If he was asleep it might take him a while to answer; but he had said he would here. She tugged on the material on her chest, twitching it where it had moved, making herself a little less indecent again. Her eyes lazily opened again and she looked at the closed door. Waiting.

Feles was awake... and sitting at the desk on the far side of the room. An old oil lamp illuminated the area, and the blank page in front of him. He'd wanted to make a diary entry... or do something to get his thoughts organised from the riot they were at the moment. Aranea had grown.. Lupinus had grown. While she seemed to be interested in him still, that was that nagging doubt at the back of his mind that made him wonder if he'd be good enough for her now. Looking down at his slender limbs and form, he had to wonder... it wasn't like he was a match for Lupinus physically.
That was when the knock came, and he pricked up both ears to look towards the door. "Coming," he whispered, getting to his feet and brushing down the front of his tunic to be a bit more presentable. The pants were still draped over the chair at one side of the room... it wasn't like he needed them anyway. Pulling open the door, he glanced around, then his eyes came to rest on Aranea. Smiling, his doubts seemed to slip away as he welcomed her. "Come in," he said softly, motioning her inside.

She stood in one graceful movement, flicking back her still-damp hair; she had bathed in the lake before coming to see him, and had lightly scented her skin with a jasmine extract (a night bloomer like themselves). She walked into his chamber, looking around in the gloom and then turned to him, waiting for him to shut the door.
