Bambi listened intensely to what Jaden was saying. When he finished Baby thought over the information and turned to him. "So when papa's eating I'm not allowed to get to close right? I have to stay away till he's done?" He smiled at this new information. "Thank you for telling me Jaden."

Great Prince listened to Jaden's lesson. The teen certainly knew his stuff and was impressing the alpha. Soon the forest began to thin as they left behind the thick part and entered the normal woods. There was now more room to move.

Noticing the change, he ran exitedly ahead, wondering if he would be able to find the den, only to be surprised when his paws touched water. Well he did remember Great Prince saying something about the river that went through the territory....

Bambi smiled at Jaden. "Okay." When Bambi saw the change in the forest as well he walked forward and saw the river. He smiled and bolted in forgetting about the little excitement that happened in it earlier that day. He crouched down and attempted to pounce Jaden.

Great Prince watched as Bambi and Jaden played and raced. He smiled glad that they were able to do those things and enjoy their youth. He looked at the river and checked it out. "Here's a shallow spot to cross at." He said stepping up to the river.

((Sorry, I posted late, too o3o;; ))
Jaden fell onto the water as Bambi pounced at him and he laughed. He'd never really been in water before, usually just at the edge to drink, and the water fascinated him.

Bami smirked when he got Jaden down. His ear's pointed at the great prince when he spoke of the place to cross. He bolted torward the prince, and jumped attempting to tackle him down. ((Sorry for posting late DX))

He turned toward the Great Prince and looked at where he was pointing. He paddled along the river until his paws touched the mossy rock of the shallow section and he crossed to the other side.

((That's fine you guys. That's why we have a pack rp thread. That way people can post at their convenience and we won't loose it.))
Great Prince was in the middle of the river when he heard Bambi splashing in the water heading for him. He turned then ducked as Bambi jumped. He made sure to keep his head down so the little pup wouldn't hit his antlers.

Bamni blinked and his eyes went wide as he saw him duck. He tried to stop him self knowing he'd fall flat on his face in a pile of dust instead of his dad's soft fur. He closed his eyes and stuck his paws forward hoping to land on all four's like a cat. He felt himself lower and slow until he could feel the water below his paws and he started to run, half in the air half in the water till he safely landed. That was the longest 5 seconds he had ever known. He turned a look at his dad and smiled. "Your too quick for me." In his horrible landing attempt he had stirred the water up with all his splashing.

Great Prince shook his head with a chuckle. "Well you almost had me." He said continuing on, "Keep trying and I'm sure you'll get me some day." He ended up getting splashed by Bambi and shook himself to help dry his fur.

Bambi looked at Jaden and smiled. He ran straight over and jumped making the water splash him. His ear's perked when he heard the great princes compliment's. "Don't worry I'll get much better!" He crouched low letting a good portion of his lower body submerge in the water. He slowly crawled over to the Prince and tried to pounce him again.

"Hey!" he laughed, when Bambi splashed him. He lowered his forlegs and waved his tail. Soon, he jumped into the water and was trying to splash Bambi back.
