"But Leroy! I have no money! Can't our smoothies be on the house too?" He stuck his tongue out a little then smiled turning to Hannah. He noticed her staring at him in a weird way. "Why you staring at me like that?" He smiled and cocked his head a little.

"Well you should have thought about that before you came in here." Leroy said. "I guess you'll have to wash dishes again, my favorite dishwasher." He smiled. Hannah shook her head.
"No, I got it Leroy. I have money." She told him.
"At least of you does." Leroy mumbled to himself. Hannah turned back to Liam.
"This is going on your bill. You still owe me from last time." She told him.

"40 but who's counting. And I wasn't staring I was just watching. You're just so funny to watch." She lied. Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed Leroy was watching with a smile.
Now what is he thinking?

"Don't you mean I'm just so cool you can't keep your eyes off me?" He playfully stuck out his tongue, then smiled laughing a little.

"Oh please, a monkey is cooler than you." She paused for a moment. "Actually, you remind me of a monkey." She joked sticking her tongue out.

Liam smiled and then said with a cocky little smirk. "And monkeys are pretty dang cool aren't they?!" He smiled even more and took another few little bites out of the ice cream.

Hannah shook her head. "Not really. They're just smelly and hairy." She smirked. Leroy came by and took Hannah's empty bowl. "Thanks Leroy."
"Anytime." He smiled as he walked away. Again, Hannah had this feeling that meant he was up to something.

"Well I think they are cool." He shook a little and then finished off his Ice Cream and what was left of his smoothie.

"Of course you would." Hannah smiled. "Cause you're a monkey." Leroy came and picked up Liam's bowl and cup. "So," Hannah said changing the subject. "What movies are we going to watch with our movie marathon?" She asked. Again, the thought of the letter came to her mind. It had to mailed but how would she be able to get away and mail the letter. Let alone without him knowing. Then the thought accord to her. Texting. She could text her mother. Quickly, she got out her phone and began to text her mom.
There's a letter in my room on my dresser. Can you please put it in the mail box? The address is on the envelope. A few minutes later her mom texted her back.
Ok it's in the mailbox, but I still think it's better if you just tell him instead of writing. Hannah rolled her eyes and closed her phone.
At least it's been mailed. She thought to herself.

Liam nodded at the phone before she put it away. "Who are you texting? And what about?" He looked at her curiously.

"Oh just some one I like to call no one about nothing." She smiled. Hannah had the urge to grab another napkin but ignored it.

He laughed. "Oh yeah I know them! They are a really good friend of mine!"

Hannah chuckled. "Of course you do. But you didn't answer my question." She said. The door rang and two cops walked in the shop.
"Hey, Leroy!" One of the men said. Leroy waved as he fixed up some smoothies. The other looked over at Hannah. She had only seen that face once and it was on a day she would never forget. The cop took off his hat and walked over to the table. Hannah froze.
"I'm....sorry about Jeremy." He said. Hannah gave him a small smile and gave her a nod. The cop walked away and joined his buddy who had their drinks. For some reason her heart was beating a million miles. She looked down and noticed that she was holding onto Liam's hand. Apparently, she had grabbed his hand as a reaction of the cop walking over. Hannah looked down at her hand and then at Liam. Quickly, she removed it. She looked away when she realized that her cheeks were burning.
"Sorry." She mumbled.

Liam looked from her hand, to her, to the cop. Once the cop left and Hannah removed her hand he just smiled at how red she was turning. "Don't be so embarrassed! It's okay!" Liam laughed and sat back in his chair.
