Once the children were all dispersed and busy with their own thing, Elnara sought out Lore, wanting to spend a bit of time with him now that things had quieted down and they weren't surrounded by noise and bodies.

She found him in the library, looking through the books with Shiro, and of course Ura was not far away. Stepping up behind him silently, she slipped her hand into his and leaned her head on his shoulder and murmured, "Shall we go for a walk? Since things seem to be a bit more sane now."

She had changed into a spidersilk gown of pale green, silken scarf wrapped once more loosely around her throat to help hide some of her scars.

Meanwhile Earendil was just arriving back from a trip to the city, where he had spent the entire day, and upon entering the castle he headed down the first corridor towards the tower where the stairs were located. He intended on going to his room to wash and change his clothes, but as he passed by Sir Valdemar's study he heard a familiar voice, and he couldn't help but poke his head into the room and grin.

"Lin!" he exclaimed cheerfully, heading inside to talk to her instead of head to his room. "Welcome back!"

Luthien had already greeted Lore and Elnara and all of their children, but she hadn't yet met many of Kara and Donovan's children - really she had just said hello to the ones she already knew. Now, however, she was heading into the courtyard to do some afternoon painting, a canvas under one arm, bag of supplies in her other hand.

Trisha shifted her own art bag on her shoulder a bit as she surveyed the courtyard. It was hard to believe they were in the middle of a desert being out here, but this place was very well tended. Unlike many of her siblings she was well tanned naturally from spending time working her own garden.

Still... it was awfully hot and for her that was saying something as she could feel the sun rays beat down, and glinting off her halo.

Lore chuckled as he tore his eyes away from the book he was thinking about picking up to look at Elnara. He smiled seeing her there looking as lovely as ever.

"I would love that," Lore replied softly as he squeezed her hand gently.

"Earendil!" Lin rose from her seat to hug him.

Old habits die hard, even when you were a teen, besides her family hugged people by nature (unless you were her father... or Yue). Besides to her, that's what you did when you were happy to see an old friend and Earendil was as old as they came for her.

Elnara smiled warmly at him, tugging him gently away from the shelf.

"Shiro," she called out softly, "we're going for a walk, we shouldn't be long. We'll be back by dinner time."

"Okay, Okaa-san," Shiro replied, his nose stuck in the book he was reading. "Enjoy yourselves."

Elnara laughed softly and tugged Lore towards the doorway.

"The gardens?" she suggested. "Nako tells me that it's mid-spring here, the flowers should be in full bloom."

Serenity was walking with Trisha, pointing out the various flowers and butterflies that surrounded them, giving her their elvish names - since they had no English names, and didn't exist in Gaia or the Seconds world.

Earendil laughed and hugged her back. "It's good to see you again," he grinned. "How long can you stay this time? It looks as though you've already been here for a while."

He raised one eyebrow at the papers of work on the table.

Luthien smiled to herself, hearing her niece's voice in the courtyard, and she headed up the path to find her.

"Serenity?" she called out softly as she came around a tree. She smiled when she saw Serenity with the double-winged angel. "Ah ... you must be Trisha," she smiled warmly. "I am Luthien, Ruel's wife ... Serenity's aunt. Serenity has told me all about you. It's nice to finally meet you."

She (relatively) young angel bowed in greeting, "It is nice to meet you too. I've actually been told about you from my brothers, Yue and Yukito."

She smiled at that, Yukito especially was fond of spending time with Luthien, she had been a great help when he was learning the writing. Which now resulted him being able to read and write in the language. They could understand the language, though speaking was... difficult at best.

"Ah, this is exciting, getting to meet everyone," Tris giggled, "We were looking through the garden, Serenity was telling me about the plants."

"Really?" Lore sounded interested, it was hard to tell if it was mid-spring or any other season, "That sounds like a wonderful plan."

He followed her out the door, he was sure that Shiro would still be there when they got back. Since he was busy reading at the moment, keeping him only busy enough to finish the book.

"For as long as the wedding will take," Lin told him, "Everyone from home is here for Nara-sissy's and Lore's wedding. So my parents are here and all my siblinsg and some of their kids and Nara-sissy's kids...."

And Nara-sissy's kid's kid her mind added mentally to that list.

"So I have lots of time here."

Serenity smiled at her aunt fondly. During her year here, she had spent most of her time with Luthien, since Ruel hadn't been fond of her and Tinuviel had been busy with her studies and training and the like.

"Hello, Aunt," she said warmly. "It's nice to be here again."

Elnara smiled. "The roses apparently just came into bloom last week - and Nako said that they're exceptionally beautiful this year." She skipped a bit, her eyes shining brightly. "I always loved roses," she murmured.

Earendil's eyes grew bright. "Aunt Elnara is here? And everyone else?" he grinned. "Excellent! So that means you'll be here at least a month, I'm sure ... I tell you what, let me go bathe and change my clothes and then I'll come back here looking for you, and we can do something, all right? How does that sound?"

Luthien laughed. "Yes, your brothers were certain fun to have here! Earendil adored them ... I have to wonder if he would even remember them now, he was so young when they were here - barely a year old!"

She smiled warmly. "Yes, the flowers here area always so beautiful ... the gardener takes such good care of them, they bloom all year round. It's wonderful ..."

She noted the bags that Serenity and Trisha were both holding. "Going to do some painting?" she asked the girls cheerfully. "I was about to do the same ... shall we sit together? There's a tree further in that we can sit under for some shade."

Trisha nodded, "I'm planning to do some sketches for backgrounds, and this place is beautiful."

Starting with here would be nice, she also heard from Yukito there was a pond near by and she had some ideas bouncing around in her brain about that.

Lore smiled widely at that statement, he wondered what sort of roses they had blooming at the moment. His mind going into flowers, he wondered what sort of flowers would be in bloom at this time.

"Yes, I know..." he murmured softly at her, "Which is why I had so much fun decorating your room."

"That sounds great," Lin agreed, "Who knows, maybe we'll run into some of them. I think they should all be spread out by now."

That sounded like an idea, and she was wiling to wait.

"I'll be here."
